We have two ground source heat pumps. They've worked well for several years.

Whenever I have needed any support from Ice Energy they have been very responsive and very helpful.

Used Ice Energy as part of a self build project. Excellent pre-sales and technical support allowing us to install an air source heating system with underfloor heating on all floors with few if any problems.
No hesitation in recommending.

When we planned our barn conversion we had decided to go fo a GSHP and underfloor. We looked at several suppliers and decided Ice Energy were the most professional at a good price. Our choice was justified when all the kit was delivered when we needed it and our plumber got all the help he needed during the installation. Since going live nearly 2 years ago we have been very happy with the equipment and the quality of support when we have needed it

Provided full advice, even a training course. Easy access and sensible pricing. Trouble free for five years, since installation.

Three years no problem, warm house and half the cost of running storage heaters. ICE advice and information second to none! If I move I will install another ASP!

The only reason Ice Energy doesn't get five stars is because therTrustpilot definition of that is "no reservations".

Of course I've got the odd reservation. Ground Source heat pumps aren't as economical as they're cracked up to be. They're expensive to install and they're not maintenance free.

But, on balance, I'm pleased we've got one and I'm very pleased we picked Ice Energy. Their after sales service is absolutely brilliant. Six years after our heat pump was installed, I can still ring them up any time - including weekends - for help if there's a problem. There's someone at the end of the phone with free advice. Tell me another company with service like that.

Ice Energy initially took good care of our installation - an air heat pump. The pump was linked electronically to an oil boiler which provided backup during the coldest winter days. There were teething troubles with this arrangement, but diligent work by their hi tech expert eventually got it right. The company has a problem solving service which solves most queries.However I had a problem with the pressure in the air pump system which I was unable to solve and the Ice Energy solution was that I should call in a plumber. Because they are centred in Oxford and do not seem to have a national network of technicians I w3as thrown back on someone who had never seen a system like mine and could only guess the solution. However, because of the generally good after sales service I decided to let Ice Energy instal solar photovoltaicc panels which they did most efficiently. All is now running well and I hope Ice Energy will be there for us if we have a problem in the depths of winter. .. .

I would recommend this company to others, thinking about installing a Ground Source Heat Pump and have indeed done so on many occasions having fitted 3 systems myself .

I have a ground source heat pump from Ice Energy. The location of the property is the north west coast of Scotland. The pump provides both room heating and hot water. I'm very pleased with the reliability and performance of the product and the the after sales service is also excellent.
