Massive let down and failed to get the work done

Totally failed me, leaving me without an installation.
I was fully accepted for insulation and new boiler under the ECO4 scheme, last year.
Provided everything they needed and they confirmed eligibility. They appointed one of their ‘approved’ contractors’, Berks Insulation.
Everything dragged, they cancelled the installation date three consecutive occasions. Stated all sorts of excuses and eventually got to the stage they won’t respond to complaints or offers of resolution.
They deflected the blame onto the contractor who are still keeping me hanging some 8 months since they were ready to fit the boiler and roll the insulation.

Really pleased with product received

Really pleased with product received. They all cleared up their mess before they left. Highly recommend. They were also very considerate and respectfully towards us.

When the work men arrived they took…

When the work men arrived they took great consideration for my home and place sheets down to protect my carpet. The man working on the boiler was great, no complaints! Didn’t stop all day! Explained fully how to work the boiler.
However, the men that did my loft have left it in a terrible state. My belongings are all piled up in the edge, it’s difficult to find what we need. we will need to move all my belongings to get to the boards so we can relay them in the floor. This is going to take some te to organise.And I’m not sure how but I now have 3 circular cracks in my bedroom ceiling that was not there before. These will soon drop off which means I now have to pay to have the ceiling re filled and painted. Once the fall off it will be the plaster which can be seen.

No need to be sceptical or worried.

From the very first phone call with IGNI
everyone was first class.
The surveyor was so kind & explained all he did & why. The 'gang' who came on the day were courteous, polite & respectful. They worked non-stop till the job was complete & kept my home how they found it. Well done to the the gang who worked courageously throughout what was the hottest day of 2025 so far.
Thanks to the Boss who rang me a couple of times during the day to make sure I was happy how things were going.
I was very hesitant in making the application as I am a nervous person but I need not have worried.
If you are thinking about applying to get your old boiler changed, think no longer
get in touch with IGNI now. You will not be disappointed.

IGNI did a great job of replacing my…boiler

IGNI did a great job of replacing my mother's combi boiler and radiator valves. Turned up on schedule, the two men did the work within the day and were polite and explained everything to me upon completion. They also left the house nice and tidy too.

I enquired about the grant scheme…

I enquired about the grant scheme boiler on behalf of my dad. He has 2 boilers, one for the upper floor and another for downstairs. The upstairs boiler was replaced through the scheme in 2018 and he needs a new boiler downstairs which is over 20 years old. Having given all this info knowing full well he wasn't entitled to a second boiler sent a surveyor, who spent over 2 hours taking photos of the boiler and every room. Whilst he was there I received an email with booking date for installation in 3 days!
Next day I received a call explaining my dad is not eligble due to this being a second boiler and then wanted to interest us in loft insulation.
Not impressed as they could have just told us over the phone this isn't likely through the government grant system but obviously get paid for coming out.
Wasted our time and really didn't need to put my dads hopes up like that especially booking an installation before the report!

To clarify, under the current government grant guidelines, properties with more than one boiler typically do not qualify for a second boiler replacement through the scheme—regardless of the age or condition of the second unit. Unfortunately, this was the reason your father's application was later deemed ineligible.

We understand how frustrating it must have been to have a surveyor visit only to be told hat your father did not qualify. While the initial eligibility checks are done based on the information provided, a full on-site survey is often required to confirm key technical and compliance details.

We also want to reassure you that we do not receive any payment simply for sending a surveyor out. The survey is part of our commitment to ensuring the process is thorough and compliant.

If I could give you more stars I would ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!! The guys that came to my home couldn't have been any more respectful or conscientious whilst carrying out the work at my property. My job couldn't have gone any smoother and I couldn't believe how little disruption there was. Highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate in contacting you for future projects.

I would highly recommend IGNI

I would highly recommend IGNI to support with the govt boiler scheme, there assistance was invaluable and we was able to secure a new boiler and loft insulation for mum.
They carried at all the work and left mums house nice and tidy we was a real help as mum has mobility issues

I Recommend IGNI

I can't believe that the Govt awards grants for boilers and loft installations. It is such a relief to not have to pay.
The workers are very professional, courteous and tidy up after themselves so there was little for me to do.
I'm extremely happy with the finished work and would recommend IGNI without question.

I can not recommend IGNI enough, amazing service from start to finish, I now have a new boiler installed, the IGNI team are very efficient with telephone calls & emails . The guys who fitted the boiler were very conscientious & have done a great job im very pleased with the work 👍

Fantastic work done

Had a complete central heating system installed in my house. The fitters were very good at there jobs . All done in two days . Took all floor boards up stairs up . They laid all the pipe work put everything back nice and tidy . Very pleased with the work . Will highly recommend these . Will recommend to family and friends Thanks so much for your fantastic work. Igni were helpful from start to finish

Igni were helpful from start to finish. The installation was booked in very quickly after a survey was completed. I always recieved regular updates. The engineers were on time, professional and also kept me upto date with progress. The engineers went out of there way staying an extra 3 hours after they discovered a leak and fixed if straight away.
Really happy with this, I am a first time buyer and single mum and this has helped me out so much. Thank you 😊

I applied half thinking it was a scam

I applied half thinking it was a scam, I work full time and only qualify for a small top up from universal credit, I had an old back boiler that was at least 25 years old and whilst it worked I was worried that when it eventually broke I wouldn't be able to afford to have it replaced. I filled in the online form and the next morning received a call to book the surveyor and a date to fit the new boiler, the whole process from first contact to my boiler being fitted was 4 days. I was really happy with everything and would recommend looking into this
