Gives the illusion of giving the ability to upload without an account, then after having made the entire upload - it makes you make an account to upload... But after having made the account, the entire post is gone, and must be made again..
Im super frustrated with this, all i needed was to show someone a picture, how fuc***g hard can it get!!!???

got 1000 calls from a callcenter with ++0044. I said different times, delete me and dont call me, but the agents ignore what i say. They called sometimes 3-4x daily. Now i know thats imgur, cause they sent me an sms with an imgur code i dont want or asked for, cause i usually do not pick the phone if ++0044 calls again. ^^ Who is responsible for this nuisances? I never buy anything from callcenters, i never join promotional contests and games of chance, never give my phone number to companys or websites i dont know and i am not registered in the phone book (the number they called is my 2nd for trash and anybody call this is a callcenter who wants to talk into. I pick this rarely up, only to say no interest, leave me alone! In germany it is forbidden by law to get called without permission. But the imgur minions call and call.... its frustrating. I will not buy anything from imgur, not in this life and not in the next!

After being held hostage by photobuckrobbers. I needed somewhere to get my pictures loaded in the right format to the forums I use. Imgur was the Chosen one. OK it’s a bit more tricky to master, but sussable. I use it mainly on my PC which is a lot easier than my iPhone. Having said that, the phone is great for getting instant pictures uploaded to Imgur.
The adds slow things down a little, I ain’t complaining. They need to get funding from somewhere and It’s better than being robbed for nearly $400!!!
Keep it going Imgur 👍 and don’t follow Robbinbuckets stance.

Posting 1/5 isn't allowed so posting as 2/5. Then fixing it. Content is great. Servers are awful. On mobile going to imgur will simply not load for 5-20 minutes. This has been repeated for months. Slow loading had been an increasing problem.

Worst first experience I got with a website.

I posted some gif and few mins after I was already flooded by trolls.

Only trolls out there just insulting you when you post something. (A guy with +450K score in that), is there a moderation team behind to prevent all of this? I came across multiple comments talking about this and even Twitter who is know to be one of the biggest trolling place on the internet is less toxic than this.

Would not recommand at all, exept to share images in private to friends and even with that, you can still share this day with Google Drive and other alternatives.

Got a short but definitive experience.

Malicious ads, app heats your phone to the point of freezing it and causes battery damage as a result, shady moderators.

Imgur - lost the plot somewhere along the way, in my view ...

- Imgur was once THE place for image and photo sharing.
- the added gimmicks and irritating distracting nonsense annoy me.
- I go instead to postimages org or imagebam now (or for .gif movie/clips then gifbin or giphy, or similar)

works fantastic and really easy to use. I upload a lot (a lot!) of screenshots to the web, and this is a great way to add a link. This is a really good site and i'm highly enjoying using it.

Occasionally servers are down, which makes the service useless.

I've never had a problem with this website, I don't know what anyone else is talking about. However, the mobile version of this website really sucks and honestly it really needs to be worked on. It is always spamming about downloading the app and that just gets really annoying.

Usually works good, but sometimes it takes me a long time to load up a simple picture. Although uploading a picture is still simple as it used to be.

YO I LOVE IMGUR DUDE; I enjoy looking at all those nice pics of people. But whenever i post i get downvotes. LIKE why the f¤ck are people so salty on that website

there used to be nice stories/images now it's mostly all the same rubbish. another facebook but called imgur. sad face
