This is what you get for trying to support small British businesses! Cowboys! Indoor Outdoors (The bracket factory)
I waited a month for my order to come and it never did.
I called chasing my order in the first week and i was told that some parts are still being made wich i was fine with and i will wait a bit longer.
After that i called and emailed weekly every time when i contacted them they said that they had issues with machinery and will take a week to solve it and then clear a masive backlog. This went for a month in wich time they didn't warned anyone on their website about this, just business as usual, wich led me to believe that is all a lie. In the meantime they put their prices up aswell. How can you put your prices up when you dont make anything in that factory. I called again to ask what's happening with my order and the same answer as they given for the last month (broken machinery). At that point i asked what's in stock maybe i can get part of my order and i was told that they don't have anything in stock and right after i was informed they allredy issued a refund without telling me or me asking them for that.
I bet if i order again under the new pricing in some cases 30% higher they won't have any manufacturing issues!
I'll get in touch with Trading Standards an put in a complaint against them.
I would not advise purchasing anything from these companies.
Look elsewhere.

11th May I placed an order for a Volcann fire pit , no communication, I initiated the communication through WhatsApp ,they don’t really speak on phone stating they’re too busy , they reported the courier has lost this item , on speaking to APC the company states they’ve sent a order number but not sent the item !I told indooroutdoors this & I didn’t believe what they are saying So indoorsoutdoors have said they’re going to put another order in , I’ve asked for an eta but they haven’t responded to this , saying when they get a new tracking number they will provide me with this . Let’s see , still waiting

Just placed my 3rd order from this company for Bellamy planters.
Delighted with last two orders as both arrived promptly, very well packaged, and the goods were of a high standard .
I did on one occasion contact them with a query and had a speedy and helpful response.
Happy to highly recommend this company.

Above and beyond in every way
I realise that people are quicker to leave negative reviews, but the current Trustpilot rating for this company is criminally low. My experience was above and beyond expectations, before I'd even made a purchase.
I found their products on Amazon, then went away to verify they were reputable, good quality, and British made. I cannot believe I watched the entire 26 minute YouTube tour (the paper falling from the ceiling made me laugh out loud 😂 ) which was more than sufficient to instill trust and, most surprisingly, respect - for their apparent integrity, innovation, pride in their work, and respect for their employees. It is so rare to see, and it's absolutely worth commenting on.
Onto the products. Being a novice, and since the item I most wanted looked heavy duty, I sent a message via the contact form to request assistance on appropriate fixings. I didn't receive a reply, so gave them a call after a week or so (I can't always do this as I work crazy hours, but it's a nice surprise when phone numbers are readily available!)
Sarah confirmed that my message hadn't been received, but was extremely helpful, asking all the right questions of me, then following up by email with detailed instructions and recommendations. Now, the links didn't work because they were directing back to ChatGPT, and I know this would really irk some folks, but to me, this just speaks to the efficiency that permeates the entire business (see: Youtube tour!), and is the perfect use of AI. Why spend masses of time researching and typing it all out, when you can feed the spec into GPT, and have it provide more detail in 5 seconds than your customer ever expected? Importantly, it was all sound, relevant guidance (AI is getting scarily better all the time).
Additionally, perhaps because I'd mentioned the item was needed for a rescue, they even sent a code that gave me a small discount. Talk about above and beyond!
My order arrived promptly, in minimal, plastic-free packaging. The product was indeed very heavy, of highest quality, and worth more than the retail price. Don't be tempted by poor quality copies made abroad; this kind of value for money cannot be beaten when the products will last a lifetime.
The only constructive criticism I could possibly give would be to get rid of the contact form if it isn't working. That's it. They exceeded expectations in every other respect.

I’ve used this company now for a couple of years purchasing the Bellamy steel planters. The quality is superb welded and not riveted and once the outdoor elements change the colour metal to rustic they look amazing with plants in. Excellent customer service providing quick answers and delivery next day. Waiting very patiently for Black Friday !

Abysmal Customer services
Had initially purchased a Fairy from their Fergus McArthur range and after purchasing was told it would be 2 weeks as they don't stock it. We agreed to wait the 2 weeks and It arrived looking really well made. We decided to order a second one and that's where it all went wrong and the lies started from their Customer Service agent.
Ordered 02/06/25
Get an email from them stating that there is a 2 week wait which we were expecting and prepared to wait for.
17/06/25 chased up as to what was happening with the order and was informed it would be within the next week and she will update again in due course.
19/06/25 I receive a further email stating they had now got it and will be sending it out with APC Overnight and supplied a tracking number.
Still no further updates or tracking with APC so called and was told the company had created the label but nothing else since.
20/06/25 I get a further email from them stating that they like to open the packages and check for breakages etc and found this item to be broken so would not be sending it out and will speak to the supplier. Will update when spoken to them.
04/07/25 I email again asking for an update as it's been over a month since I ordered the item.
07/07/25 I receive yet another email from them stating that she apologised that I hadn't received it after 2 weeks implying a fault with the courier. Got informed it would be arriving on the 08/07/25 and that updated tracking information would be provided.
The item hadn't been collected at this point.
Parcel finally received 09/07/25 and upon opening the box I found it was packed with their own brand tape wrapped around a broken wing which confirms they knew it was damaged yet sent it out.
Questionable as to if that was the original one that was allegedly damaged on receipt and after sitting on it for a few weeks decided to send it anyway.
I have kept every email as it is clear they have little regard to the Distance Selling Act and to knowingly send out a damaged item after claiming they had sought a replacement shows clearly how this company operates. The parent company is JJB Corporation who may find it advisable to educate staff on how to plead ignorant when sending out damaged goods to not use the company branded tape to wrap the damaged item in bubble wrap around it. £95 down the drain but comedic value is priceless.

Outstanding service and quality

Raised planter “kit” with wrong screws
I bought a raised planter kit, thinking it would be easier to get everything delivered and ready cut to size. The sleepers and screws supplied seem good quality, but the screws were too long - they went right through the bracket, the sleeper abd out the other end. I had to go to B&Q to buy the correct screw size (costing £25) so it would have been much cheaper to just DIY the whole thing. I contacted the company on their online form to ask if they could send the right screws but got no response.

Very happy repeat customer
Over the past few months I’ve bought a bunch of Indoor Outdoors’ sleeper stakes, brackets, and sleeper screws (all from their stainless steel range) and used them to install oak sleeper raised beds and retaining walls. The products are excellent, high quality, and easy to use. I’ll shortly be purchasing one of their Framola pergola kits and will update the review once I’ve assembled it; if the quality of the pergola kits is as good as the sleeper accessories then I will be a very happy chap.

I cannot speak highly enough of the service I received from IndoorsOutdoors. They replied to me promptly and helpfully with my queries and when I needed to return half of my order as I had ordered too much, they accepted it back and sent me a refund on the first working day after receipt of the returned product. Such great service which is so rare in this day and age. Highly recommend this company for its rare and efficient service. Many thanks!
