This law firm is clown shoes, avoid at all cost. They are not very clear with instructions on how much the program ACTUALLY cost. Was taken for a long ride, deposited $2800 dollars, one settlement of $400 completed... I had a remaining balance of $57 LOL. I was able to get a personal loan to get out of this joke of a "firm". They 1000% prey on finically vulnerable people.

AS MOST OF THE COMPLAINTS MINE IS VERY SIMILAR. HOWEVER, I RECEIVED A SUMMONS TO APPEAR IN COURT WITH RESPECT TO ONE OF MY ACCOUNTS THAT WAS ENROLLED IN THE PROGRAM. AS SOON AS THE 52 PAGES OF THE SUMMONS FILE WAS SENT TO DEREK WILLIAMS LAW FIRM LLC, 'SO CALLED LAW FIRM" I WAS INSTRUCTED TO WAIT 2 WEEKS FOR A RESPONSE. I WAITED AND CONTACTED THEM A FEW DAYS AFTER THE WAIT. I FOUND OUT THEY HADN'T EVEN STARTED A CASE FILE AND TO WAIT ANOTHER 2 WEEKS. AT THIS POINT I WAS LIVID! EVENTUALLY THE SUMMONS WENT TO A LOCAL ATTONEY THE "FIRM" WORKS WITH. I WAS TOLD TO PAY THEM MORE MONEY. AT THIS POINT I FELT THIS WAS EXTORTION, BUT I NEVER SAID ANYTHING. BECAUSE I COULD NOT PAY THE ADDITIONAL MONEY, NOT ONLY THE LOCAL ATTORNEY BUT THE LAW FIRM OF DEREK WILLIAMS, LLC REFUSED TO MOVE FORWARD AND TOLD ME THAT I WOULD BE BETTER OFF LOOKING INTO BANKRUPTCY. MIND YOU, AT THIS TIME I HAVE GIVEN THEM NEARLY $4,000 AND MONIES GOING TOWARD A LEGAL RETAINER [WHICH HAS BEEN PAID IN FULL].
I WILL BE GOING TO COURT AND REPRESENTING MYSELF BECAUSE THIS "LAW FIRM" WOULD NOT AND DID NOT GIVE ME ANOUGH TIME TO RETAIN AN ATTORNEY AFTER THEIR POSSIBLE 'REVIEW". AND I HAVE RETAINED A BANKRUPTCY ATTORNEY.
AS FAR AS THIER RATING, HONESTLY, I WOULD NOT EVEN GIVE THE SHAM OF A FIRM ONE STAR.
WHAT EVER YOU DO, DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER THIS SHISTER OF A SO CALLED LAW FIRM.

Buyer beware. I should have read all the horrible reviews about this law firm. BEWARE. I had been paying for a few months now, I believe approximately 6 payments of $500. So a total of approximately $3000. Unfortunately I was unable to continue making the payments of the payment plan. Therefore I decided to file for bankruptcy instead. Well I called to cancel the program and expect at least some money back, since nothing was done on the account, other than collect the money from the payment plan. They advised I would only be getting a whopping 6$ in return. How is this possible that every payment I made went to fee's and fee's for doing nothing other than collecting the payment. This law firm makes you believe that this law firm and its program is helpful, when they aren't doing anything but collecting every payment. I understand there are fee's, but it is outrageous that fee's were charged for doing nothing. I expected at least half back. Either way, BEWARE of this program, I guarantee it is not right for you, look elsewhere.

I have been paying $500 a month since Oct 2022 and all that got me was one credit card was charged off bringing my credit score from 790 to 531 and I was never informed until I called Discover . They are holding onto the $800 plus in my savings account and charged me $196 out of my monthly payment to fees which all they did for me was wreck my credit and take my money! Do not trust them.

Well I just found out today after paying them for 8 months that added up to about $3000, I had to cancel because something happened to me and I am now on short term disability and I can’t afford to make the payments anymore so I decided to go the route of bankruptcy instead. They never settled with any creditors or anything. I never missed a payment. I am only getting $186 dollars of that money returned to me. The rest went to “fees” they collect. So basically, they are just stealing money and when I called to ask about it thinking surely this was an error they said it was in the contract but it definitely didn’t say any amounts just that they take fees which obviously I understood the process wasn’t going to be free but it never said they would take basically the whole payment each month in fees. I’m pretty upset right now because that math simply doesn’t add up. They make it sound like such a great idea to get you to start the program but they never accomplish anything and just steal your money. Do yourself a favor and stay away from these thieves!

Started with a pre approval in the mail for debt consolidation. When I called about a loan for consolidation, was told that debt negotiation would be a better option, and there would be no loan.

Started debt “negotiation” with infinite law group in Feb. have been paying on time every month $645. Infinite law group has done nothing that they promised.

My credit card companies were not even notified that we were entering negotiations. My credit score went from a 640 to 380 and my credit is ruined! None of my cards had any late payments before all of this.

I mailed the cancellation letter, was told that delivery was confirmed. Infinite did nothing, called the next week to confirm, and was told they didn’t receive the letter and would cancel over the phone. Still no email. Called a second time to confirm AGAIN, and finally was able to cancel my contract.

Called again today, just to confirm, because I still have not received an email confirming my cancellation, and was told that I will only be receiving $200. That the remainder of my money is for “fees”.

So, Infinite Law Group is keeping $1700 for a retainer and “fees”, for services that were not rendered. They did nothing! This “business” is a scam! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

After working with them for 8 months. They did nothing but keep the 3000 i put in and returned 362 dollars. Now on to bankruptcy. Thank alot

I was with the company for 8 months they nothing was ever settled nor did they ever intent to settle my phone was of the chains with all the debt collectors calls. INFINITE LAW STOLED OVER 2500 DOLLARS AND DID NOTHING AND I CUT CHAINS WITH THEM AND DEMANDED A FULL REFUND.... I WAS REIMBURSED $250. MIND YOU I WAS NOT BEHIND IN ANY OF MY ACCOUNTS.

BAIT AND SWITCH SCAM ALERT!!

Received a letter from Proper Funding Loan Acceptance Department stating... Brian, you have been pre-approved for a debt consolidation loan up to $32,500 and the programs low fixed rate of 3.85%. To take advantage of this offer, call 1-800-349-5242!

It turns out Proper Funding is not even a registered business in MI! They are hiding behind a PO BOX as a front for Infinite Law and their partners in crime Strategic Consulting.

It stated on the back... Prescreen and Opt-out notice: This "prescreened" notice of credit is based on information in your credit report indicating that you meet certain criteria.

Instead of calling I went online the second option in the letter and filled out the form. The next day I received 3 phone calls and a text from Strategic Consulting. Third call I answered and was told to go online to get my offers. At which time I was then told there is no loan it is now a law firm by the name of Infinite Law Group that does not provide loans but rather negotiates with creditors to destroy your credit.

When I pressed about the PRE APROVAL I was told by senior management to go on Google and look up what pre approval means. Yes, this is really what this scam artist tried to get me to do. I was NOT pre-approved as the letter stated and they never in-fact pre-screened my credit.

He then stated exactly that. They never ran my credit for a pre approval. Odd since the letter I have clearly states they looked at my credit and I meet their criteria for a 32,500 loan at a rate of 3.85%!

This is the decades old bait and switch SCAM!

THEIR OFFER STATES I WAS DELCINED FROM 8-DIFFERENT LENDERS THAT HAD ME PRE-APPROVED FOR UPTO 32,500!

TURNS OUT I WAS NEVER PRE-APPROVED FOR ANYTHING!
