What a joke

Tried to make a claim for my caravan awning filled out online form and a day later got a email telling me to phone. So phoned up give all details of what happened only to receive a phone call from my car insurer saying a third party Insurd was claiming against me for damage to my awning. After about 6 phone call I was told they are a broker and my insurance is with a different company.

So im still waiting to know how and why they put a third party claim in with my car insurance as this has nothing to do with my car insurance.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We're genuinely sorry to hear about the stress and confusion caused by the handling of your awning claim. It is clear that something has gone wrong in our process, and this is certainly not the level of service we strive to provide.

It sounds as though there has been an administrative error regarding how the claim was logged, particularly concerning the notification sent to your car insurer. As a broker, our role is to act as your advocate and manage the communication between you and the underwriter; in this instance, it appears we have let you down.

We would like to ensure this is rectified as soon as possible.

Very disappointed with Insurd

Very disappointed with Insurd. After already paying monthly premiums, I was shocked to be charged an extra £447 cancellation fee when the policy was cancelled. The whole process felt unfair and extremely stressful.

Communication was unclear, and I did not receive proper support or a clear explanation of the charges. I tried to cooperate and make payments, but still ended up with a very high cancellation cost.

I would strongly recommend people carefully read all terms and conditions, especially regarding cancellation charges and no claims bonus issues, before choosing this insurer.
