After noticing a problem with our till system not synchronising Intelligent Retail were contacted and I was put through to a support advisor immediately who resolved the problem within 15 minutes. Happy with the service and would highly recommend the company.

I didn't think it possible to be treated as badly
My company invested a lot of money into a new website that integrated with our epos system. The epos system is fine but the website is a disaster. After spending a lot of money on Google Adwords I discovered that the basket on the website was not working properly, which meant that I was loosing customers before they were about to pay. I reported this problem in December 2015, and they told me that they were having problems and that they would upgrade the basket, but they were not able to give me a time frame. In my opinion this problem has not been resolved and they seem to not care.
When I spent a vast amount of money with them for the website I was under the impression that the website would be mine and that I would have some control and this is not the case.
If the till in one of my shops was broken and I was unable to get people to pay, I would sort this out very quickly. For me this is what is happening on my website, and the only people that are able to fix it, do not care.
I see that other people have had similar experiences, and wonder how there problems have been resolved.
This really is a very poor service, and I am very surprised that they are able to get away with it in this day and age.

Seamless integration and excellent customer support
I have been using connect till software, from Intelligent retail for over 3 years. It is now the core of my retail business both in store and online. This system has paved the way for expansion and we are opening our second store within the next two months. This new store will be the pilot for a franchise which is also possible thanks to the connect till software. I can highly recommend this software to any retailer for its adaptability and solid construction.

Very poor customer service.
They do not return calls when they say they will and you are left trying to chase them even when every day and hour costs you money. It can take days to fix the smallest problem and the customer service team appear to be of varying standards of competence from the completely hopeless to very good.
The last problem went on four four days stopping us putting ant shoes on through the Ebay feed and i had to phone at the beginning of each day to get them to try to resolve the problem. Eventually i got someone who knew what he was doing and it took 15 minutes to fix. Four days lost because of incompetence. This is fairly normal.

Good design service
The design service for the website team were very good, they were willing to help and would give opinions if asked. The project was completed efficiently and within the agreed timescales. More training would have been useful to ensure you get the best from the site.

Good Basic System But Needs Development
For a startup, this is a pretty decent system. There is a lot of functionality in the background and it's fairly robust. I like the way it allows you to organise your products in an accessible manner and it does link nicely to the website (which IR also provide for us.
However, I have a few caveats
1. Customer service is limited to 9-5 Mondays to Fridays which if you are a retailer is inadequate. Documentation is not well organised and you are pretty much left to get on with it. There is no such thing as account management.
2. There has been a lack of development, particularly around management reporting and promotional scenarios since the company was acquired almost 2 years ago.
3. Most of their effort seems to be going into mobile, which is all well and good, but given most of the customer base is small independents, not much use to us. I would much prefer they developed a proper click and collect solution, better multi site reporting and better interrogative analysis of the business.
4. Ongoing fees are quite high (in truth they are for their competitors as well).

Yes we are aware that you offer a chargeable additional service re cover. it should be standard.
Yes, we are aware of the online helpsheeets, but they are disorganised and far from comprehensive
We have spent 2 years trying to get projects developed e.g. to get the problems corrected with your Style Spreadsheet to no avail. I am glad you are now showing a commitment to act. I will report on progress on this forum.
We already use your click and collect solution hence our comment that it is inadequate.
On a positive note I didn't mention that the Helpdesk team work hard to resolve issues. They do. The problem occurs when they can't resolve it and it needs escalating

Disappointed
Consistently let down. Product does not keep up with the changes introduced by the sales channels it is integrated into.
Issues raised are dealt with if they can be resolved quickly, otherwise they are referred to the "development team" and left to wither on the vine.
They pay lip service to your complaints, after 6 months I am still waiting for a minor alteration which on three separate occasions I was informed would be addressed in the next sprint.
Comments about them posted on a business forum were removed, despite containing nothing but facts.
I would not recommend this software or the company.

The design process was first class and the team perfectly interpreted my brief. I was able to see how my website was developing every step of the way, and the team ensured I was kept fully informed. I received good training as the site was due to go live and have always experienced good customer service...thank you!
