INWX Avis 

Bis Mitte letzte Woche gut ab da kein Zugriff mehr auf Mails. Mail Versand und Empfang gestört und kein Zugriff auf die Mailpostfächer seit mehr als 4 Tagen. Kommunikation bleibt ungenau. Letzter Status vor 2 Tagen. So schafft man kein Vertrauen.

Störungen (Mails funktionieren nicht), schlechte Kommunikation, wechselnde Mailserver, keine Zahlung per PayPal, sondern nur über das integrierte Guthaben Konto

Seit fast 48 Stunen Mailservice ausgefallen. Nicht das erste mal. Dieses Jahr schon 6 mal passiert.
Bei Beschwerdemails bekommt man nie Antwort und einen Rabatt gibt es auch nicht. Telefon wimmelt immer ab. Wir werden uns einen neuen Anbieter suchen.

Seit über 24h keine Mails mehr zu empfangen aber das Unternehmen schweigt.
Krass schlecht

Der Service erweist sich bislang als sehr zuverlässig. Gerade dann, wenn Prozesse reibungslos ablaufen und unauffällig im Hintergrund funktionieren, zeigt sich die Qualität des Dienstleisters. Preisnachlässe und Extras sind dabei von nachrangiger Bedeutung.

Marc Lehmhagen at INWX was responsive, on live Chat, and quickly solved my "expired domain" renewal problem within minutes. And he is friendly and funny and easy to work with. Native German but flawless English.

Company assisted with a problem with the invoice after I reached out to them a few times. Thank you!

Ich bin seit acht Jahren bei INWX. Ich kann mich an kein einziges Problem erinnern. Die Preise sind sehr fair und man kann alles was man braucht einstellen. Ich bin super zufrieden.

VORSICHT, hat man eine Domäne mal bei inwx.ch, klappt der Transfer weg kaum noch. Der inwx.ch versucht initial zu helfen, schweigt dann aber oder kommt nicht ans Ziel.

Seit 2 Jahrzehnten pflegen wir dutzende Domänen und der Domänen-Transfer war immer *sehr* einfach und in der Regel innert 60 Sekunden erledigt.

❯ Wie inwx.ch Domänen-Transfers blockiert, wenn man von inwx.ch weg will:
1. Wir versuchen seit *Wochen*, eine Domäne weg von inwx.ch zu transferieren, weil inwx.ch im Vgl. stark überteuert ist
» Bei JEDEM Versuch erzeugt inwx.ch einen falschen Transfer-Code
» Der inwx.ch Support antwortet schnell, erzeugt einen neuen Transfer-Code - aber KEIN Code funktioniert.

Bei anderen Registrars funktioniert dieser triviale Prozess mit wenigen Klicks, bei inwx.ch haben wir inzwischen rund 16 E-Mails mit dem Support im Postfach haben.

Weil inwx.ch das Problem seit fast 2 Monaten nicht gelöst hat und es ein Standard-Prozess ist, gehe ich davon aus, dass gezielt verhindert wird, dass Kunden wieder weg gehen, bzw. dass es ja dem Umsatz dient, wenn die Lösung erst irgendwann mal kommt. Wenn überhaupt.

Meine Empfehlung?
inwx.ch nur dann, wenn es keinen alternativen Registrar mehr gibt. Gott sei Dank gibt es viele Alternativen!

I recently purchased a domain through INWX, and nearly a month has passed without any progress on updating the name servers. This extended delay not only causes inconvenience but also casts serious doubts on whether the domain purchase was even successfully completed. Despite multiple inquiries to their support team, the responses have been unsatisfactory and vague.

In an industry where prompt service and transparency are essential, such delays and lack of clear communication are deeply troubling. To make matters worse, INWX consistently shifts the blame onto Freenom, repeatedly responding with templated messages stating that the delay is due to Freenom’s slow processing. No matter how many times I contact them, the answer remains the same—no real resolution, just the same excuse. I suspect that even in response to this review, they will say the same thing.

Until INWX takes real responsibility and improves its reliability, I cannot recommend their domain registration services to anyone seeking a dependable provider.

Ich bin seit mehr als 16 Jahren zufriedener Kunde von INWX. In all den Jahren musste ich den Support nur einmal kontaktieren (und mein Anliegen wurde zufriedenstellend gelöst).

INWX ist für mich ein sehr guter "No Frills"-Registrar: Alle Anliegen können automatisch erledigt werden.

Einziges Manko ist die etwas rustikale API, die keine API-Tokens kennt. Das ist im Jahre 2025 doch etwas schade.

It's kinda expensive, but pretty good option if you live outside the EU and want to buy a .it domain.

Kept increasing the price for my domain way beyond what their start price for that toplevel domain is, which is already more than other providers ask for.
In the end it was 160 Euro to renew. I risked to let it expire.
After about 2 weeks in the ominous "domain drop zone" it went back to the market and I bought it for 7 Euro at another registrar.
While it was in the domain drop zone, when I searched for the domain on their site, the UI would for a moment show the domain to the price they have similar domains for (around 30 Euro), before updating to not available.
It is 2 not 1 star, because they at least did not register it themselves to keep me from buying it back for a reasonable price.

I don't know why they never respond my emails.
I've written 5 emails in 3 weeks and their inwx.com support email doesn't even have an autoresponder.
