It Works!
I just wanted to share that I have been using the Iqoro device for 4 months. At first I didn't think it was doing anything but I persisted - 3 times a day. I have been on PPI's for about 10 years because of a Haital Hernia and close to having an operation as I know long term use of using PPI's is not good. 4 days ago I decided to wean off the PPI's and see what happens. I have tried this before and the reflux comes back with a vengeance. Well, I was shocked and so grateful that I have absolutely no reflux symptoms and didn't even have to wean off them. It was instant. Even sleeping flat was no problem. I am absolutely thrilled and beyond grateful. I just wanted to share my results and say thank you to the company and all the research backing it. Um es gleich vorwegzunehmen... Ich bin begeistert!!!
Das IQoro kostet nicht wenig, sieht man aber den Erfolg, ist es sein Geld allemal wert. Zudem steht das IQoro-Team immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Das, und auch die Entwicklung haben ihren Preis. Es geht hier nicht um den reinen Materialpreis.
Ich bin ein kritischer Mensch und im Fall des IQoro war ich sehr misstrauisch. Ich litt ca. 40 Jahre an Reflux, der nachts zu einem unangenehmen Schmerz bis in beide Ohren führte. Anfangs war mir nicht klar, woher diese Schmerzen kommen, bis mich ein Arzt über die Ursachen aufgeklärt hat. Eine Gastroskopie ergab noch vor einem Jahr eine chronische Gastritis und eine nicht unerhebliche Hiatushernie. Für letztere wurde mir eine Operation emfohlen, die ich zum Glück abgelehnt habe. Eine erneute Gastroskopie vor ein paar Wochen zeigte keinerlei Entzündungen mehr und eine unwesentliche Hiatushernie. Grund dafür, wie auch für die Beschwerdefreiheit, können nur die Übungen mit dem IQoro sein.
Ich verwende IQoro nun seit genau einem halben Jahr. Regelmäßig und gewissenhaft, auch im Urlaub, also ein halbes Jahr lang ohne Unterbrechung. Bereits seit 6-8 Wochen bin ich beschwerdefrei. Ich war sehr skeptisch, doch wie ich mich inzwischen fühle, kann kein Zufall sein.
Ich weiß nicht, was manche Anweder mit dem IQoro anstellen. Bei meinem ist (nach einem halben Jahr) noch nichts gebrochen, weder am IQoro noch an der Aufbewahrungsbox. Ich danke an dieser Stelle dem Team, den Entwicklern und allen, die für das IQoro verantworlich sind.

Fick ett tips av en kompis som har diafragmabråck, köpte en och det var den bästa affär jag gjort.
Jag har haft uppblåst mage, ständiga rapningar, gaser och ont i bröstet samt svårt att svälja. Fick tidigare utskrivet Omeprazol vilket inte hjälpte. Första träningsrundan fick jag effekt efter ca 2 månader, var bra och slutade träna. Då kom eländet tillbaka och jag ringde supporten och fick ett träningsprogram över tid. Har nu startat och kört i 2 veckor och är mycket bättre igen.

Det stämmer att alla inte blir hjälpta av läkemedel av denna sorten och bra att du istället började träna med IQoro.
Det stämmer att man i de flesta fall behöver fortsätta med underhållsträning för att bibehålla de muskler du nu byggt upp.

No Success - No Refund?
After careful consideration, I received the product as a gift from a friend. However, after just a few days my mild one-sided tinnitus had irreversibly worsened and has since become louder and bilateral. Iquoro support gave me pep talks and accused me of being at fault due to possible improper use, which certainly wasn't the case. Other symptoms, such as reflux, heartburn, dry cough, and bloating, have remained completely unchanged even after six months. Worse still, as I experienced the worsening of my tinnitus, I became cautious and increased to 5-second exercises only after months. That same day, the frequency of the tinnitus changed even more unpleasantly. After contacting customer support again four and a half months after starting the excercises I was again fobbed off with pep talks.
When I tried to initiate a return and refund to the customer about six months later, my message was ignored. I only received the reply "Your request (94058) has been resolved. Thank you for reaching out to IQoro customer support."
I wonder what value their guaranted refund in case of an unsuccessful treatment holds?

In short: We are awaiting your reply on how you would like to proceed.
The option to go through the training is simply our way of "going the extra mile" as we know by experience that those suffering from acid reflux want nothing more than to be symptom free.
Regarding tinnitus we have have many customers suffering from this but need to start training with IQoro to be able to treat their acid reflux (or other symptoms). Our recommendation is to start with only 3 second pulls for 3 weeks and after that increase with only one second per week until or IF they are able to reach the full 10 seconds. Otherwise they stay on a level that works for them.
We are extremely proud our our customer support and, if one still is unsuccessful in treating the symptoms, we will honor the results guarantee.
Since you never got back to us with what option you would prefer the request you opened with us automatically closes as we heard nothing more from you.
To reopen the request again, just answer the email you got saying "Your request has been resolved" and we can pick up where you left.
If you wish to invoke the results guarantee follow the instructions you got in our last email.

Ich benutze IQoro jetzt seit etwa 10 Wochen, meist einmal täglich, obwohl die Empfehlung dreimal täglich ist. Ich hatte jahrelang Probleme mit dem oberen Ösophagussphinkter – ständig Aufstoßen und das Gefühl, dass der Muskel nach einer früheren Magenspiegelung irgendwie „ausgeleiert“ war. Seit ich IQoro regelmäßig nutze, hat sich das deutlich verbessert.
Das Training ist sehr einfach, dauert nur wenige Minuten und ist unkompliziert in den Alltag einzubauen. Ich bin wirklich überrascht, wie viel es gebracht hat, obwohl ich nicht die volle Trainingshäufigkeit gemacht habe. Ich kann IQoro jedem empfehlen, der ähnliche Probleme hat oder seinen Zwerchfellmuskel stärken möchte.

Das empfohlene Training besteht aus 3 Zügen à 10 Sekunden mit einer Pause von 3 Sekunden zwischen den einzelnen Zügen. Dieses Trainingsprogramm sollte dreimal täglich durchgeführt werden. Bleiben Sie unbedingt dran – Sie sind ja erst seit 10 Wochen im Training.

Incredibly Grateful
1 year ago, I was diagnosed with a large 9cm HH and my symptoms were excessive burping, lump in the throat, and discomfort in the chest (no Acid Reflux or Heartburn). I started using the Iqoro as soon as I was diagnosed (Sept 2024) and I am now, 1 year later completely symptom free.
My symptoms definitely got worse before they got better (as Iqoro suggest they may) as I then experienced the acid reflux. At the beginning of May I enquired about a private endoscopy as I was thinking that the Iqoro wasn't working and was contemplating surgery as my hernia was so large. I went ahead with the endoscopy a few weeks later even though my symptoms had improved massively in those few weeks whilst waiting for the appointment. The findings were that there 'was no hernia' and the consultant thought there was a mistake on my first endoscopy but from my point of view both endoscopies reflected my symptoms at the time, both times. I understand that the hernia can slide up and down BUT was told that a 9cm hernia does not usually completely disappear, but after a CT scan and Endoscopy it certainly appeared to have and I was feeling so much better.
I have waited 4 months to write this review as I wanted to be sure that I really am better and am completely symptom free. I have been eating tomatoes and 85% dark chocolate (on a daily basis) for the last couple of months and have recently re introduced coffee (after not having any for a year) with no symptoms. I was fortunate that I never had to use PPI's (they didn't help the burping), but did use an over the counter ant acid liquid when suffering with the acid reflux. I am happy to report that I have not needed any form of medications since the end of May this year.
It took 9 months for me to see 80% improvement in my symptoms and a year to be symptom free. I appreciate everyone has different circumstances but wanted to share my positive experience as I had quite a large HH. I would definitely recommend Iqoro and say it is worth every penny.

We are glad you didn't gave up initially as this is obviously not a "quick fix" and we can understand the consultant's surprise, given the size of your hernia.
Hopefully the results of your examination will help spread the information on how, when and why IQoro works as, despite it being listed on the NHS for hiatal hernia treatment, still many clinicians are unaware bout this.
Remember to do maintenance training to prevent the symptoms from coming back.

I received the device and was less than…
I received the device and was less than impressed. A huge, ridiculous price for what it is. I didn’t open it and have tried to get permission to return it. You have to send them pics of the unopened device, seals intact. I sent them pics two days ago and no response from them. Even if the device was brilliant, I can’t forgive myself for paying what I did for a glorified mouth guard. Maybe they’ll get back to me?

I purchased the Iqoro in June 2025 after suffering for nearly 2 years with indegestion at least every fortnight at first and then up to starting with the device I was suffering bouts 3-4 times weekly which nothing would take that pain away. I’d been to my GP August last year who put me on omemprazole for 2 months which whilst taking I never suffered but I don’t like taking any medication and certainly not long term so I looked for an alternative. I came across Iqoro in May of this year. I took the symptom test online and it suggested I could have a hiatus hernia. I read up about it and further researched the Iqoro. I never went back to my GP who wanted me to have the dreaded camera down my throat! So I bit the bullet and treated myself to the Iqoro. At first I continued to take over the counter esomemprazole as well as exercising 3 times daily only because I was going on holiday. But since 30/6 I’ve not taken any meds and I not suffered any pain. I know it’s early days but surely things can only get better! I sleep much better and eat virtually what I want. This has changed my life and I will continue with it always!

So relieved I saw the advertisement
I had no faith in this device, didn't even pay much attention to training technique because I was sure it couldn't work then after 5 weeks then I noticed I didn't have as much indigestion. Still not convinced I thought it must be a placebo effect. I continued to improve. Indigestion was stopping me exercising, eating my favourite foods and having such a negative impact on my life. I tell anyone who will listen about this device. After 5 years I use it everyday, 3 times a day. Forget maintenance it's quicker reaching for the bit of plastic than finding tablets. I have even bought a second one. This device could save the NHS a fortune and no one appears to know about it. Indigestion is such a common problem and most people use expensive medicines but never cure it.

Wirkung Placebo und Materialqualität mangelhaft.
Ich habe im Juli 2023 ein IQoro gekauft – leider bin ich sehr enttäuscht. Das erste Gerät ist nach weniger als 5 Monaten gebrochen, das Ersatzgerät nun nach 18 Monaten ebenfalls. Eine kostenlose Ersatzlieferung wurde verweigert, obwohl ich mich noch innerhalb der gesetzlichen Gewährleistungsfrist befinde. Stattdessen wurde mir ein neues Gerät mit 20 % Rabatt angeboten – das ist für mich kein fairer Kundenservice.
Darüber hinaus stelle ich auch die Wirksamkeit des Produkts in Frage. Ich habe IQoro wie empfohlen über viele Monate hinweg angewendet, musste jedoch weiterhin Pantoprazol gegen Reflux einnehmen. In meinem Fall war also keine spürbare Verbesserung festzustellen, sodass ich mich frage, ob das Produkt über einen Placeboeffekt hinaus überhaupt wirkt.
Ich kann IQoro weder aus qualitativer noch aus therapeutischer Sicht weiterempfehlen.

Har haft stora problem med sura uppstötningar, slem i halsen, en låst magmun med svårigheter att rapa och svälja i många år. Har blivit livstids användare av opremazol. Med stor skepsis köpte jag en Iquro och nu efter tre månader är det grymma förbättringar. Inget slem längre, kan äta och rapa helt naturligt! I had a gastroscopy in July 2024
I had a gastroscopy in July 2024. The result showed that I had a hiatus hernia and moderate gastritis in the oesophagus. I was prescribed PPI medication and told that I would need to take the tablets for ever. My symptoms disappeared within days and I could eat virtually anything with zero side effects.
In September 2024 I read an article on the IQoro device and purchased one on Amazon. I started to use it on 18 September 2024 and used it in conjunction with the PPI medication until the New Year 2025, when I gradually withdrew from taking the PPI medication.
I conscientiously did the 30 second exercise three times a day. As time went on my acid reflux, heartburn etc started to return but I persevered with the exercises until mid April (seven months of using the IQoro device).
I then returned to see my GP who recommended that I return to using PPI’s. Regrettably I started using the medication again on 23 April 2025 and once again I am symptom free.
Interestingly IQoro refused to give me a refund because I ordered it on
Amazon even though the Amazon website says “Dispatched by Amazon” but “SOLD BY IQORO”!.
Strangely the supporting text on Amazon describing the benefits of the IQoro fails to mention the guarantee! Although I eventually got a refund from Amazon.
They certainly make you jump through hurdles before one is able to grudgingly obtain a refund.
I’m intrigued on what statistical basis are they able to claim a 97% success rate. When was the analysis undertaken? What was the size of the sample? Was the analysis subject to peer review? Was this research published in a recognised journal?
The 2015 study’s results of 43 adults showed 98% experienced improvements in dysphagia but only 58% became entirely symptom free. The 2018 and 2021 studies showed that statistically significant improvements were observed but not that 97% being symptoms free.
In March 2019 NICE reviewed “IQoro for hiatus hernia” and indicated that IQoro could serve as an alternative to PPI therapy. Nonetheless, NICE points out limitations due to the studies’ design and the need for comparative research.
Surely IQoro should be launching a new research study to determine its efficacy now that it appears to have widespread use. I acknowledge that my commentaries on the three studies and the NICE statement are based upon replies to questions I put to ChatGPT. Not by me reading all of the literature myself. But I have no reason to doubt its validity. Or that the total number of adults included in the studies is of the order of 150. Not very many.

Based on the symptoms you described, it was absolutely the right decision to give IQoro a try. PPI medications may offer symptom relief, but they do not treat the root cause, which is due to weakened muscles. As you've also experienced, medication can help – but it cannot strengthen the muscles that are weakened and the root cause will therefor still remain. We are therefore proud to offer an alternative treatment method, completely free of side effects and risks, while targeting the weakened muscles.
Since we only have access to your review under the name “Customer KL,” we are unable to check whether you ever reached out to our customer support for help during your training. This is, of course, completely optional – but we know from experience that personalised guidance from our IQoro experts can often make a big difference and help tailor the training for better effect.
As you’ve also pointed out, we cannot guarantee results for every individual, unfortunately. However, the scientific research behind IQoro shows that 97% of users improve with training. This is based on 17 published and peer-reviewed clinical studies. It sounds like you only read the NICE Medtech Innovation Briefing (MIB) written 6 years ago? This is now out-of-date and misleading (by NICE’s own admission). NICE do not update MIBs and have indeed now stopped the whole MIB programme. The fact now is that the IQoro device is approved by the NHS Business Services Authority Prescription Services (NHS BSA PS) and is approved on the Drug Tariff for all four countries of the UK and is prescribed by GPs in all areas. The NHS BSA PS evaluation was far and away the most comprehensive review of IQoro and its safety, efficacy and cost benefit to the NHS. We have collected all the studies on our website, even if they are not our own, so that you as a customer can easily access them. It is worth mentioning that we as a company neither conduct nor fund studies.
Regarding your Amazon purchase: It´s correct that the product was dispatched by Amazon and sold by the company behind IQoro, but we are still bound by Amazon’s own sales terms and conditions when using their platform. This means that our results guarantee cannot be offered directly on Amazon, nor are we permitted to promote it there due to their policy restrictions.
However, all IQoro packages sold on Amazon contain a leaflet with a QR code. Scanning that code allows you to register for our results guarantee and receive supportive guidance emails. In order to claim the results guarantee, you must be registered in our system via that QR code.
In cases where a refund is requested through the results guarantee, the process must be handled via Amazon directly – not through customer support. Once you contact Amazon, they will reach out to us to complete the refund process.
With all that said, really sorry you were one of the few who didn't get better in your symptoms despite training with IQoro. But we hope this answered the questions you had in your review. Hej Tonie,
Bra att du redan känner dig bättre, trots att du endast tränat i 3 veckor.
De flesta behöver träna längre än så för att se effekt av träningen.
Det är suveränt att du är noga med att träna 3 gånger per dag samt att det får gå minst 2 timmar mellan träningspassen.

Det virker!! Hvor er det fantastisk!!
Jeg har døjet med reflux, klump følelse i halsen, hoste og rømmede, trykken for brystet og svie i halsen i to år efter fødslen af min datter. Har prøvet alminox, gaviscon og pantoprazole fra lægen og alt har bare været symptombehandling og har ikke hjulpet tilstrækkeligt.
Min reflux og trykken for brystet blev værre og jeg kunne nogle dage have svært ved at ligge ned i sengen, når jeg skulle sove.
Jeg købte IQoro, da de havde 15% og jeg må bare sige, at den nærmest har virket fra dag 1!
Jeg kunne mærke bedring med det samme og kunne den første træningsuge pludselig nøjes med gaviscon til sengetid.
Nu har jeg brugt IQoro i 2 måneder og jeg er total medicinfri og kan drikke kaffe og juice igen. Det ER altså fantastisk!
Jeg træner de 3x daglig og bruger appen og jeg vil anbefale det til alle som har reflux problemer! Det har virklig været en life saver!!

Du har også opnået resultater lidt hurtigere end den gennemsnitlige person, der træner med IQoro.
Det er vigtigt at træne efter anvisningerne, og det har du gjort, og du har taget hjælp af IQoro-appen, som er ekstra god, da du kan følge dine resultater og indstille påmindelser om, hvornår du skal træne.

Klumpen i halsen forsvant
Jeg begynte å få plager med klumpfølelse i halsen og refluks, og måtte bruke medisiner daglig. Etter seks måneder med IQoro har klumpfølelsen forsvunnet, og jeg merker mindre ubehag i mage og bryst. Jeg trenger ikke lenger være like forsiktig med hva jeg spiser. Totalt sett er jeg fornøyd med forbedringen.

Iqoro really works
I had been suffering from acid reflux for sometime. All the doctor could offer me to help was Omeprazole which I tried but it didn't help. So I did some research and found out about Iqoro and decided to give it a try.
I purchased the Iqoro device in February
2024. I started to use it as advised to exercise the muscles. I did not see an improvement for quite a while but decided to stick with it. After 8 months of using Iqoro my acid reflux had gone!! I am now able to sleep better, eat meals without suffering and feeling a whole lot better. I cannot recommend this product enough. It has changed my life. If you are suffering from acid reflux give this product a go. It really works. Stick with the exercises because it will work. It just takes a little longer for some people to get the results they need. This is so much better than taking prescription medication. The science behind this does not lie.
