Fantastic devise!
I have been using the iQoro for around 5 months and it has totally resolved my reflux and swallowing issues arising from a small hiatal hernia and stricture. I am so impressed with this simple and effective solution and relieved not to have to use PPIs. I suspect that getting the technique right when using the device is pivotal to its effectiveness.

I have being using IQoro for around seven and a half months
I have being using IQoro for around seven and a half months having been diagnosed with a 2 cm hiatus hernia.
I had been prescribed Omeprazole but had a rare side effect which meant I could no longer take it so needed an alternative to PPIs. I have suffered from secondary side effects using IQoro initially increased acid reflux and then laterly being unable to burp after eating which was really uncomfortable. This went on for many weeks and at 6 months I was still getting some discomfort. I did feel like giving up at times as it was not a side effect I had had previously. However after starting to relax my stomach rather than tense up with the uncomfortable sensation I noticed that over the past few weeks and continued use of IQoro this has and continues to improve and I am optimistic that in time it will no longer occur. I do take the occasional gaviscon at night but this is more and more infrequent. I would say overall the device is definitely working, I was probably far too focussed on the 6 month mark instead of the steady progress. My recommendation would be don’t give up you will get there in the end, and don’t focus on the six month mark

Yes, in the beginning your symptoms might actually feel worse as a result of you starting to activate the inner muscles such as the throat area, the esophagus and the diaphragm itself but once the muscles gets stronger the symptoms will subside.

Lång historia men fungerar verkligen!
Efter en mycket stressig vardag och var nära väggen så började konstiga symtomer dyka upp. som tex konstant halsbränna bland annat.
Detta gjorde att jag besökte vårdcentralen där jag fick råd att äta annorlunda och fick medicin utskriven….efter en månadstid av medicin ätandet hade halsbrännan inte försvunnit och jag började med receptfria läkemedel i mängder. 6 månader senare med mycket lugn och andra förändring gav halsbrännan inte upp! Problem med sömn och annat då jag vaknade under natten med smärta i halsen, trots flertal kuddar under huvudet!
Började söka på nätet och hittade IQoro. Tänkte 1500kr för en plastbit…. Ja dom tjänar nog pengar…. Men eftersom vårdcentralen bara stötte bort mig och hoppet nästan var ute tänkte jag, vi testar.
Tack gode gud för att ni finns!!! Efter en veckas tid börjar jag känna skillnad och allt blir bara bättre och bättre vecka ut och vecka in!!!!
Älskar! Kan sova, äta och leva ett normalt liv utan massa mediciner som man har läst att det kan skapa ohyggliga biverkningar inlängden!

I am a recent user of the IQoro.
I am a recent user of the IQoro.
I have been diagnosed with a HH (2017) and every now and again (c3 year interval) I suffer with reflux symptoms.
Each time the GP prescribes PPI which come with a host of side effects and the dreaded acid hypersecretion which comes with trying to get off them - even though the GPs assure you will be ok!
I want to get this under control and I am totally open to the claims of IQoro.
However I would like to see references to any independent published papers to that I can read for myself. Please can Iqoro list them?
I have read the NICE paper but the trials cited there were authored by the inventor of the device and so cannot be considered independent.
I look forward to hearing from Iqoro soon.

We agree, it's better to treat the root cause rather than just medicate for the symptoms and also IQoro doesn't add anything to your body like PPI medication does.

Märkte tidigt att det ej gjorde någon skillnad, bad om retur. Men det hade ej gått 6mån.. efter då 6mån hör jag av mig igen, och får tips och nytt hopp om att den kan hjälpa mig. Så får förlängning på 6mån..nu efter detta slutade jag med IQoro och märkte att jag mådde bättre utan den. Men nu kan jag tydligen inte returnera den längre för att det har gått för lång tid. Så om ni ska köpa IQoro, räkna inte med någon garanti ..

Enligt forskningen blir 97% förbättrade efter 6 månaders träning, därför kan inte alla “tidigt” känna att behandlingen gör skillnad. Det är som att gå på gymmet och efter första passet säga att; - Nej det här kommer inte göra mig starkare. Där vet du att tiden du styrketränar gör skillnad. Samma sak gäller även med behandling med IQoro. Du behöver träna med IQoro 6 månader, enligt instruktioner om totalt 90 sekunder om dagen för att ge IQoro rätt chans att hjälpa dig och få de resultat som forskningen visar. Står du din del av avtalet så står vi vår - har du inte blivit förbättrad, ger vi dig pengarna tillbaka. Så enkelt är det.
I ditt fall förstår jag av konversationer att du fått coachningssamtal, varpå du fick tips om träningsteknik som du önskade prova ett tag till. Varpå vi erbjöd dig en möjlighet att förlänga resultatgarantin ytterligare 6 månader. Valet var helt och hållet ditt. Så du har fått totalt 12 månaders resultatgaranti. Over six months use!
I too was sceptical but decided to buy the device as I really wanted to stop taking Omeprazole twice a day.
I can confidently say it works. I have been using the device for over six months. I used it three times a day for six months and slowly reduced taking the drug to zero. I find using the device twice a day now maintans a no symptom state.

Masse greier for å få sendt i retur, en retur du forøvrig må betale for selv og som ikke gir noe som helst garanti for at du får igjen pengene dine!! Bare tull og fanteri!! Brukt den i sels måneder, ikke blitt noe bedre, kontaktet kundeservice flere ganger underveis, masse styr for retur!! Anbefales IKKE!

Ifht levering av dokumenter tim speditør er ikke dette noe et eneste fraktfirma gjør i Norge. Isåfall kun posten, hvor man fysisk leverer pakken selv. DHL sin sjåfør tar ikke imot dette i hånden!
Jeg nekter å betale 250,- i frakt for så å få et avslag på returen! Da ble dette en dyr affære!

Works for me
I was quite suspicious of iQoro before I started using it, but equally I was so desperate to find a solution to hiatus hernia-related reflux that I was keen to try everything.
I am now using it for 6 weeks. I use it 3 times a day, and after each meal. I can feel it does something to my oesophagus and upper stomach, and any post-meal symptoms I get seem to be reducing. I have only taken PPIs 2-3 times this month. My symptoms haven't gone away completely, but I feel an overall improvement. Maybe it's a placebo, maybe it actually does work, I don't know!
My experience is that I feel better when I use it after eating, and for this, I am grateful to this tiny device!

Your'e not alone in being a bit suspicious about this way of addressing the root cause of acid reflux.
Great that you now have decided to something about it!
With only 6 weeks of training you will probably not be entire symptom free as it takes much longer to strengthen weakened muscles. The average is about 6 months of daily training to make a long lasting difference.
Rest assure that it's not placebo. If so IQoro would not have been listed on the NHS, nor would we be able to back the scientific studies that have been peer reviewed and published.
Keep up the good work. The training you do is what will make the difference in your symptoms!

Burping solution??
I started using the device a couple of weeks ago, so obviously it is too early to look for results. I am feeling very hopeful and positive!
However apart from reflux, hiatus hernia and swallowing difficulties I also am unable to burp/belch which is unpleasant and causes me to make gurgling and hiccuping noises like a frog!! Has anyone any evidence that the IQoro might also help with this strange symptom?

Device review
I have now been using this device for over five months and I have not seen any improvement at all. Infact I would say my acid reflux has gone worse, so I would not recommend this device to anyone.

Acid reflux is by far the most common reason why one starts training with IQoro and also why it's listed on the NHS for this.

The IQoro is NOT a gimmick and it is NOT a scam. I recently watched the 'Silent Reflux' day on line with the many specialists contributing there knowledge with much interest. How unbelievably rude some people can be when writing a review. If it isn't working for you then at least get some advice first on the possible reasons as to why, before being so negative. - - - - I have been using the IQoro for less than 3 months now and the difference it has made to my diagnosed silent reflux has been very noticeable by its much improved absence, particularly at night when in bed. As a choral singer I no longer have coughing fits during a singing session, something that I struggled with for a number of years, and have virtually no bouts of having to constantly try and clear my throat of mucus which is never good for a singer to have to do! I still have globus sensation but as mentioned have only been using this for less than 3 months. I'm hoping this will eventually subside as well, but so far I'm very happy with the results. This product is also recommended for use by the NHS. Thank you IQoro. I will continue to use mine indefinitely on a daily basis.

YES - It takes some time in order to address the root cause but the average user notice an improvement in their symptoms about 6 months although not completely symptom free.
YES - IQoro is listed on the NHS since May 1st. 2022 as it addresses the root cause to acid reflux rather than just offer a relieve in symptoms.
Keep up your training routine and once you have achieved your goal, don't forget to do maintenance training in order to be able to prevent the symptoms from coming back.

This product healed my 2cm hiatal hernia so it's a shame to read that others think the product and company are a scam. I was diagnosed with the hernia during the pandemic, I have a feeling stress brought it on. I felt so down at the thought of having to give up coffee, alcohol, chocolate - all those foods and drinks that trigger reflux (which was bad, especially at night) - not to mention the awful sensation of feeling your stomach slide up through your diaphragm! But, I took a chance on the Iqoro at a time that it was very new to the market because I wanted to give it a chance rather than be on PPIs the rest of my life (not a solution). Using the Iqoro three times a day as well as doing various stomach exercises to move my stomach down cured my hernia. Two years on, I only take PPIs when I've had a period of particularly triggering foods or high stress situations and I use the Iqoro 1-2 times a day to maintain things. I thoroughly recommend this product. It might not work for everyone of course, as other treatments don't work for other things for everyone. But I do believe it's worth a try!

There is really nothing to add to your review other than that we'd like to think that in due time, more healthcare professionals will become aware of the side effects of PPI medication and would recommend treating the root cause instead. After IQoro was listed on the NHS we see a steady increase in the knowledge about IQoro.
In the end it will result in that others might find it harder to dismiss IQoro as a "scam"!

Nu har jeg trænet med IQoro i over 3…
Nu har jeg trænet med IQoro i over 3 måneder, så dette er en foreløbig anmeldelse. Men jeg havde rigtig nok globus fornemmelse i starten, ømhed og blod på skinnen. Dette var normalt. Siden har jeg ikke mærket en forbedring, men kun forværring i reflux. Jeg skriver denne anmeldelse på min 3 søvnløse nat. Jeg kan ikke lægge mig ned uden at jeg brænder og vågner op kort efter med nattesved. Det er 100% relateret til reflux og ikke andre sygdomme, da jeg mærker syreskaderne dagen efter.
De her ting oplevede jeg også inden IQoro, men der havde jeg flere nætter med søvn. Dette er slemt! Meget slemt. Det fortsætter hele natten. Jeg var skeptisk og er det kun endnu mere nu, da det er så slemt efter 3 måneders træning. Få dage med 2* træning, men ellers 3 gange træning dagligt.
Og en anden ting.. Jeg havde opfattelsen af, at virksomheden ville følge med i træningen hos den enkelte, men de har kun 1 gang sendt en automatisk e-mail indtil videre. Det er ikke opfølgning. Bevares, har man spørgsmål svarer de hurtigt tilbage, men opfølgning… Nej.

Mild chest pain and a slight pain when…
Mild chest pain and a slight pain when swallowing the first bite if something very solid such as a bite from an apple were my only symptoms so tests quickly ruled out anything cardio. A barium swallow revealed a “slight hiatal hernia” and muscles in the lower esophagus not firing in correct order when swallowing. Doctor suspected silent reflux so prescribed PPI omaprazol. This is when my real problems started. With 48 hours I was awash with acid in my upper airway, throat, mouth and eyes. I couldn’t see. I stopped the tablets but the symptoms they caused reduced but did not go entirely and was waking in the morning with blood in my mouth. was pronounced allergic to PPI and a nasal endoscopy revealed a 2cm HH with duodenal bleeding and inflammation of esophagus.
I started with iQoro 6 months ago and the worst symptoms returned, awash with acid. On advice from customer service I reduced the severity of pulling. It would seem that the training was making the esophagus muscles fire correctly but the downside was this had made it more efficient and transporting stomach acid up to my mouth and upper airway. I have however seen improvements in eating as there is no pain at all or sticking sensation of first bite. I can literally bolt food with no ill effects. I did have to start a course of H2 blockers due to the duodenal bleeding which is gradually easing. I would say that now the acid has reduced to around 50% after 6 months. All in all a mixed bag but am of the belief that the training is working on the whole but after 6 months not as significantly as I had hoped.
I plan to now taper off the H2 blockers as course of three months will soon compete and continue with the iQoro and see where we are in 3 months!

Jeg vil meget gerne anmelde og anbefale IQoro. Jeg fik konstateret mellemgulvsbrok på sygehuset da jeg havde meget kvalme, opstød og en tør hoste. Da jeg fik at vide at der ikke var noget at gøre fra det offentlige og at jeg skulle leve med det begyndte jeg at undersøge hvad andre brugte. Så faldt jeg over IQoro. Jeg var lidt skeptisk fra starten men var desperate og villig til at prøve alt. Jeg fik bestilt produktet som kom meget hurtigt (endnu en stort plus☺️). Jeg ville give produktet alt og lavede en rutine med øvelsen som varer kun 90 sekunder ad gange. Nu har jeg brugt IQoro i lidt over en måned og symptomerne er væk. Selvfølgelig skal jeg passe lidt på med hvad jeg spiser og hvor meget, men det her produkt har taget det. En fantastisk opfindelse og jeg vil anbefale det til alle.

It's working for me. Relief after years of misery.
I've had a persistent cough for many years. Drs have diagnosed different things including asthma. None of the treatments helped and my condition steadily worsened.
By chance I discovered Iqoro. They described my symptoms exactly so I bought their device hoping it might be helpful.
It's really easy to use and takes very little time, just 1 min 30 seconds three times a day.
Within a couple of months I noticed a significant difference in my throat. I no longer felt as if I had a lump and swallowing became much easier.
I've had the device almost 5 months now. I still have my morning cough but it's not as violent and doesn't last as long. It's made a hugh difference to my quality of life and all without drugs and their accompanying side effects.
I'm so glad I bought it, it's been worth every penny.

Actually look over the research they provide. It's not meant for any disease other than dysphagia
Be wary of the research they claim is real evidence for hiatal hernia, GERD, and sleep apnea.
All of the studies are done by the same person who founded IQoro, Mary Hägg. The majority (14?) of those 15 or so studies include only patients with dysphagia (trouble swallowing). See the study summaries of the research on IQoro's website (click Clinicians, then Scientific Evidence, then "Read a Summary of Studies"). IQoro tries to extend this research to a much bigger market by claiming it works for 3 more highly complex diseases, hiatal hernia, GERD, and sleep apnea, each with multiple billion dollar markets.
In truth, the only disease that might justify using IQoro is dysphagia.

It's great to see that you have taken the time to actually read the studies behind IQoro, and the Summary of Studies that we spent a long time writing. Most people don't bother!
The peer-reviewed and internationally-published studies that you reference illustrate a many-year journey proving the efficacy of neuromuscular training. They begin with massage and the use of other tools to treat facial weakness, progress through treating dysphagia - especially after stroke, and on to reflux and more. Three of these studies specifically cover cohorts of patients with reflux and silent reflux symptoms, but they all support the underlying message of the effectiveness of neuromuscular training via the oral cavity.
Both the sensory cranial nerves, and the motor cranial nerves involved in the swallow and in restoring muscular competence around the hiatal canal are common to both conditions. The site of control of the autonomic system for these processes is also common – the Formatio Reticularis. The two processes involve a chain of 148 muscles and the overlap and crossover of these in swallowing correctly and in correcting hiatal hernia weakness is huge. The two condition areas are not as different as one might think!
The most thorough review of all of this scientific evidence was performed by the National Health Service Business Services Authority Prescription Services [NHS BSA PS] in the multi-year and extremely thorough review of the product and its efficacy. They were the body responsible for awarding IQoro prescription status in the UK. They, like you, noted the preponderance of scientific evidence on the dysphagia side and asked that the Instructions For Use (IFU) included in each carton listed its areas of use in the sequence: dysphagia, hiatal hernia and reflux, snoring and sleep apnoea. Your observation is not wrong!
As for Mary Hägg having been involved in all the studies, that is almost entirely true too. This is the lot of an inventor of a new innovation, nobody else has the passion or the belief to go out and seek state and university research funding to pay for these very expensive studies. Only now do we have interest from NHS institutions in furthering the evidence base that we have.
Your closing statement that the only disease that might justify using IQoro is dysphagia is however simply incorrect; there are more than 90,000 people using IQoro as a result of self-purchase or prescription, and I have hard data that shows that much more than 70% of these are using it for reflux-based problems.

I’ve been using IQoro for 6 months
I’ve been using IQoro for 6 months. There was an improvement in my heartburn symptoms after approximately 3 months so I reduced my meds gradually and stopped taking them after 4 months, unfortunately I fractured my arm 2 months ago so had to take loads of painkilers which brought back my heartburn, so had to to back on meds again. Still used my IQoro throughout all this. 2 weeks ago stopped painkillers and meds and no signs of heartburn recurring. I will continue to use my IQoro as I see it as an important tool to being confidently free of heartburn.
