Jacksons Nurseries Avis 900

I recently visited Jackson’s as I am redoing my back garden. I was so impressed by the range of plants at very reasonable prices. Got some super advice from a gentleman with a welsh accent (sorry didn’t get a name) and consequently returned home with a boot full of plants! Coffee and home made cake were a bonus too. Thank you Jackson’s!

I needed to buy some plants at short notice so spoke to the nursery direct, Kirsty took my call and was very helpful and managed to arrange a quick delivery of a selection of 47 different plants. The delivery driver, Julian, was great - really friendly and helped to unload the plants safely in the garden. I am happy to recommend the team and plants to anyone looking for great service and quality :)

We had a small breakfast, which was quite expensive for the size. The quality of the food was dreadful, the sausage was bland and obviously a cheap brand. The bacon was tasteless and so were the mushrooms. Very poor quality altogether.

Excellent service and quick delivery, very impressed with the packaging. will use Jackson's Nurseries again.

Update: after emailing with the company they have assured me that they have spoken to their staff about maintaining the plants and ensuring they are of good quality before sending these by mail. They have also sent me a partial refund for the plants which were not a good standard. The company has made a great effort to sort this matter with myself.
Ordered 5 plants from their online shop, they advertise larger pots which they are but I’m disappointed with the state of 3 of plants which were delivered.
The Heuchera cherry cola and heucerella sweet tea looked like they had not been tendered to at all, most of the plants were over 50% dead or dying, they soil in the pots had moss and weeds. The cherry cola in particular was majority dead leaves and only the tiniest few living ones. The Berberis chocolate summers pot was coverered with dead leaves from a different plant and also had moss and weeds.
So yes you do get slightly larger pots for your money but the plants themselves are a lottery and only 2 of 5 plants actually looked like someone had cared for them, the rest need a lot of care to get the looking anything like healthy.
I defo wont be ordering plants from them again and will pay more at my local garden centre.

First time order, a Blue Moon Rose, 4 Peonies and a Hosta. Extremely pleased. Far superior to any other online Shopping Channel or Dutch supplier I could mention. As they state on the website, these are well established plants in good size pots. Not little grow on plants where you lose at least half (if your lucky!), before they even see a border. They are my 'go to' supplier from now on. More expensive, yes, but what you get is a fully garden ready, hardened off plant that will survive, so cheaper in the long run.

Plants arrived safely. They were in great condition and of excellent quality. Highly recommended.

This was the first time I have used Jacksons Nursery but it will not be the last. I ordered 5 shrubs on-line from them because they had what I required in stock and the prices were someway below those charged by other garden centres. Pot sizes were large and indicated mature plants. I needed them delivered by a certain date and this was promised and when I rang a second time to check on delivery timetable I was impressed the employee remembered me and my delivery requirement. The plants arrived on the due date and were well packed and of high quality. Excellent in all respects

Useless, ordered on 2nd May rang them on 10th May to ask about my order said they hadn’t started on orders placed on 2nd May yet so my order would be a few more days. Told them to cancel order. Hopeless!

So I ordered a plant that said 2-3 litre pot. The pots that arrived were significantly smaller than I ordered and said 2/3 litre on the pot (and were smaller than a litre).

Customer service was excellent and after exchanging pictures the issue was made right [apparently a supplier and labelling issue] and new plants were dispatched.

I would rate customer service a 5 star. Overall given
a different size than I ordered arrived and delayed planting of my items - overall review at 4 Star. Many thanks to the customer service department for solving the issue and sending the correct sized items.

Plants arrived in extremely good condition, so well packed. And price wise, excellent value for money. A slight delay in despatch is the reason for not giving them a 5 star review, but customer services were very helpful in sorting this out. Overall very pleased!

Ordered seven Hakonechloa Macra All Gold. Best price that I could find. As it’s slow-growing, didn’t want to wait for a more mature plant. Healthy plants. Excellent packaging. Excellent comms about delivery. Two thumbs up from me. :)

firstly the quality of the plant was great, they couldn't have been more helpful, when I explained I had to go into hospital for a back operation, they immediately despatched the plant so I was able to plant it yesterday before my hospital appointment today

I recently ordered established beech hedges but got the wrong size delivered. The customer service couldn't have been any better or more helpful. The issue was resolved with an express overnight delivery of the right size and I got to keep the original plants too.
Really happy with the overall service and the plants are strong and healthy. I will definitely shop here again. Thank you.

We visited the site on Monday, we’re well pleased with the condition of the plants and the helpfulness from one of the staff, however on returning home we found a mistake on the receipt, we had been overcharged by £5, we contacted the site straight away giving them the chance to rectify the mistake, they promised to ring back the next day, no one as rang, from what was a pleasant experience it has turned into poor customer service. I had put a very good review on the site so this review here makes it very unpleasant. Customer service is paramount for many people and unfortunately they have let themselves down.
I have just resolved the matter with Steve from Jackson’s nurseries, the mistake as now been rectified. Steve went above and beyond to rectify the mistake, better late than never, this is what I call customer service, thank you Jackson’s.

Ordered Two Thuja "Yellow Ribbon" conifers from Jacksons, the trees arrived on time in excellent condition, I asked for Bushy well formed specimens and they were just what I had asked for, the quality was superb, couldn't ask for more, thoroughly recommend Jacksons.

Fantastic service and attention to detail. Somehow they identified that the camellia I ordered on Tuesday was a mother's day present. Sharon from customer services emailed me to say they had flagged this, and they would do their best to get it to my mum before the day.
Really impressed that her present arrived yesterday (Thursday). She loves it.

I love Jacksons - I've been using them for a while now and they have always been 100% helpful and supportive. The courier lost some of my order and the amazing staff at Jacksons were straight on the case. They kept in touch with me the whole time and got it all delivered the very next day. The plants are wonderful quality and garden ready throughout the year. What's not to love? Thank you Jacksons!
