your hygiene is poor cleaning services are pathetic, toilets never been clean changing area along with bath side of that floor is wet all the time, you can't even step in there without having a boat. so Poor and very bad experience just went in there for two days and will never go back to that jym.

Absolutely amazing!! Excellent staff. ALL staff (management, PTs, instructors, cleaners), genuinely friendly and happy to help. Gym members are friendly and also helpful. Lovely warm environment. Classes and instructors are excellent. Nice, clean and spacious gym. Big free car park.
Great fitness facilities for all.
Ladies gym (cardio and weights) area is 💯. All nice and new.
I haven’t tried the sauna yet.
For me it’s a definite thumbs up!! 🤗

Good gym but ventilation and cleanliness need improving
The gym itself is decent and has good equipment, but the ventilation and cleanliness really need improving. When I walk into the gym, there’s often a noticeable unpleasant smell straight away, and at times the whole place can feel quite stuffy, especially during busy hours. It feels like there isn’t enough airflow or fresh air circulating around the gym. Better ventilation and more regular cleaning would make a big difference to the overall environment and experience. Other than that, the gym is generally fine and has everything you need for a workout.

Gym equipment not working
Gym equipment not working, no security in the building, men are vaping inside of the building, there is bad odour in the building not very nice to inhale. Hygiene is poor.

The smell in the entrance needs to be sorted, the drains in the ladies changing area too.
More cleaning needed, sanitary pad in shower, dirty chair in cubicle. Otherwise a good gym, good classes.

Great training classes and quite a variety of training equipment but I don’t know why they is so much bad smell from the female toilet. Basically hygiene is so bad. Need to be soughted thanks.

Equipment Not Managed & Sauna Needs Cleaning
the clips/weights are often not in their proper place, which makes it difficult to find equipment and disrupts workouts. Additionally, there is a bad smell in the sauna/bath area, and it clearly needs better cleaning and maintenance

JD GYM BIRMINGHAM IMPROVEMENT
I’ve been going to this gym for a while, and it has improved a lot since the new staff member Jermaine has started he always goes the extra mile making sure the gym is clean and weights are put away neatly, 5* for him and the gym 👍🏼

Bad experience
It does not say anywhere on website that sauna was not 24 hours. Did not like gym layout, it really felt archaic and dim. Definitely not going back

Visited JD Gym in Birmingham and won’t be going back. The layout makes no sense – equipment feels crammed in and it’s hard to move around when it’s busy and the overall atmosphere just felt chaotic.
For a big-name gym you’d expect better organisation and upkeep. Really disappointing experience

I went to JD gyms before the refurb and…
I went to JD gyms before the refurb and I really enjoyed the amount of weights in the women’s section. Upon my return, most of the weights/machines have been taken out of the ladies section and replaced with treadmills. I am very disappointed because I enjoy lifting and don’t want to have to go in the main gym to do it. That’s what sold JD gyms to me in the first place.
