Great gym with plenty of classes. I do around 4/5 classes per week with Kellie & she is amazing. She pushes you to your full potential, adjusts exercises to fit your physical needs & even offers free... Voir plus

Edit: manager kindly offered to me after my complaint. Gave me an an apology 👍 got me sorted 👍 and explained why what happened did. Appreciate that massively.

Big gym, loads of equipment, loads of people
This gym is really busy, even early in the morning, but it's quite big so you don't necessarily feel like people are on top of you, not had to queue for equipment yet. Did have a guy box in the mirror next to me at a squat rack while grunting loudly non stop which pissed me off but suppose that's not the gym's fault. Loads of different types of equipment. There's loads of showers but they're in small cubicles, and then there's two little changing cubicles for privacy, along with toilet cubicles, which is a bit of a faff, I'm not particularly keen on stripping off in a locker room though suppose that's a personal preference, would love to have a bench or another hook in the shower so my stuff doesn't get wet and I can do it all in one go and not carry my stuff back and forth. Lockers and changing room don't open until 6am, bit annoying to carry my bag around until then but fair enough. Lighting is awful but that's all gyms. Cardio area is really good and well stocked, like it's position as well. Not met any staff yet. Harsh there's a KFC drive thru right as you're leaving. Yeah, alright gym so far, much better than some, just so many people, even early in the morning!

No mention of changing room opening…
No mention of changing room opening times when signing up. Changing room closed when first entered and in work attire so had to change. Got changed in the van so as to not waste the journey but the gym wouldn’t let me back in because I had only just been in. 0/10

Hello! Thanks for leaving us some feedback, we appreciate it.
We are a 24-hour gym in Liverpool South, but due to there being less staff on duty throughout the night, areas which are not covered by CCTV are closed t for the safety of our members (i.e. the main changing rooms and saunas).
We do however leave the accessible changing room open at all times, as well as there being lockers for you to use. If you need to get changed or grab a shower during the night, that option is there for you and you'll have complete privacy in there.
With regards to the multiple access in one day, If you come back a second time in the same day, please press the green buzzer button near the gates and someone will let you in. The app does only grant entry once per day, but you're welcome to come back as many times as you like, we'll just need to let you in. 👍
If that’s something you do regularly, please speak to the Manager next time you visit, and they can help or drop your gym an email if you can’t see a Manager to speak to - liverpoolsouth@jdgyms.co.uk

To access the gym you will first need to download the JD Gyms APP from the app store. The app will generate a QR code when you open it. You will need to scan the code each time you visit to gain access.
If you are having difficulty accessing the gym you can call to speak with a member of staff who can guide you through the process. You can also email the gym on liverpoolsouth@jdgyms.co.uk or you can raise a ticket with the customer service team using the link below:

Plenty of equipment, gym isn’t busy when I’m there and it isn’t full of scary stead heads.

It is a big spacious gym with lots of equipment and has a good atmosphere. There is always lots of free parking and located in a convenient well connected location. The classes and instructors are great with plenty of variety though I would like to see daily yoga classes. Also be good for the showers and toilets to be cleaned more regularly.

Jd gyms is working well for me since…
Jd gyms is working well for me since it’s opened 24 hours as I like going to the gym before work as I work night the only downfall is that the changing rooms close between the hours of 10-6 so isn’t ideal when I need a shower after a work out before work
