Great gym with plenty of classes. I do around 4/5 classes per week with Kellie & she is amazing. She pushes you to your full potential, adjusts exercises to fit your physical needs & even offers free... Voir plus

Massive change over the last 3 months
Massive change over the last 3 months, staff are more friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. I particularly love the classes which Marks runs… he is motivating enthusiastic and supportive to everyone.
I attend every morning at 5.30am train for 2 hours shower and work. Ladies changing rooms can get busy at that time but nothing you can do about that.
Overall a brilliant gym. X

Marks circuit classes !
Marks circuit classes are one of the best I've ever been to, the only classes that could drag me out of bed to the gym before work 😂 The classes are instructed with high level knowledge, and what makes it better is Mark has lost weight prior to becoming a PT so has the experience of how it feels to be a larger size wanting to train and shift some lbs! The classes are so full of energy and motivation no matter what time of day it is and always have a good laugh along the way which helps 😂

After having a rota cuff detachment and…
After having a rota cuff detachment and having pins put in my shoulder with a long recovery, I'd lost all hope of training again. I started marks 6:15am burn class. With lots of encouragement at the class I'm now gaining confidence in myself again and achieving more more goals each week 💪 Thanks Mark 😊

Mark is brilliant—his knowledge, enthusiasm, and dedication to helping me achieve my goals are unmatched. He designs personalized workouts that are both challenging and fun, always pushing me and the classes to do our best. Great variety of classes on throughout the day with a good range of instructors
Mondays Jd Burn class is busy and varied each week with PT Mark who keeps the class fun with great music and challenging workouts.
My friend and l have Mark as our PT weekly . He keeps us motivated and pushes us out of our comfort zone!

I love the gym but unfortunately the changing rooms and shower area need a thorough cleaning, not a fault of the club but the members, leaving plastic water bottles and razor 🪒 blades in the shower area, could do with a door separating the changing area and toilet as the smell is coming from there.

Gym is OK but...
Cleaners work really hard and have no stuff to do their jobs properly. Stop cutting corners. Equipment needs a bit of a review/renew...handles with padding missing etc....a bit tatty, pins missing. Whole place needs a bit of refresh

We are sorry to hear that your fitness journey with us has got off to a slightly stuttering start. We will be sure to forward this onto the team at Liverpool South.
In the meantime, we do have our management team on hand if our PT's are in a class and unavailable at the time you are next in if you need any assistance.
If you have a specific PT in mind, it is usually best to contact them directly as they manage their own diaries. Or the management team can ensure you are booked on at a time when a Trainer is 'on-shift' and available on liverpoolsouth@jdgyms.co.uk
