I ordered from their website, paid for it waited over a holiday period, no email no communication 4/6 items came and only followed up because I got a refund in my account, rang them and asked why and they said oh sorry we didn’t have stock? Why did you put it online if there is no stock then, seems like bull. Probably wouldn’t put much faith in ordering from them again.
ATROCIOUS SERVICE BY JDSPORTS
This company is a SCAM !!! Beware !!!
I ordered 3 weeks back and until today I have not received the order.
Their customer services is NON EXISTENT.
They do not have any stock in New Zealand and I have been advised that the goods are coming from Europe !

Yikes. I had the worst customer service experience when checking out today at the JD Sylvia Park (New Zealand) store. I spent $230 on a pair of Nike Shox 4 during Christmas week. After being helped and served by a lively, helpful worker on the floor, we went to the counter to pay for the shoes.
Not a word was said or smile given by Sisilia on counter - fine, didn't bother us too much. After scanning the shoes, she asked if we wanted "shoe protection". No idea what it was, no explanations added on what it was either, I assumed it was some sort of insurance. Either way I declined, then she asked - "Genuinely, why not though?" in a condescending tone, where I answered it was "not in my budget/we're broke after this". Her response to that was HOSTILE, she replied:
"Broke but buying these shoes? These are like a rents worth of money, but you can't afford shoe protection?", to which I added that it was a CHRISTMAS GIFT and not for myself.
She then went "Ok" and started talking to the customers behind us. The worst attitude I've ever had to experience which is really disappointing.
Looking back at this experience, customers do not need to explain to themselves more after declining an "additional" service. No is no. We felt criticized, uncomfortable and unacknowledged. I came on Google to check the reviews, and there are a lot of similar complaints on JD's customer service being poor. This is genuinely a terrible look on the company and it doesn't look like much has changed throughout the timeline. Hope this issue improves and that as a team, you would prioritize kindness and the bare minimum trait - respect?

Ordered some slides for my daughter on the 16th of December well before the time line they gave to receive for Christmas. 4 days later I finally had a reply via what’s app saying rest assured it will be sent and I will receive it before
Christmas. Saturday comes around and no communication from them but all I get is a email from Afterpay saying the order was cancelled. Will never use this place again.
Arrogant staff
I went in store to claim the warranty that jd offers and it was clearly stated on their website as well. And as i approached a staff member she redirected me to the manager who had zero knowledge about how you’re supposed to behave with you cx first of all she said straight no about when i asked if she can help me find my receipt she said no that’s gonna take a lot of time i was literally telling her the date of purchase. Then when i was talking to her and stating that its not a normal wear and tear she said “ CANT YOU HEAR WHAT I AM SAYING TO YOU” this is literally mannerless behaviour and not something you expect from a manager. And as i asked her head office’s number that is when she started behaving. And JD’s site clearly says 2 years warranty which they denied and when i had a word with customer service team they said they can’t ignore manager’s decision. I mean manager already wasn’t helpful that’s why i approached you guys. Wrong advertising on their site. Really unhappy. Never gonna shop with JD again. You just lost a cx who used to love jd.

Terrible online service, tracking number is very confusing. Judging by the comments this store should be shut down. THEY ARE A NIGHTMARE TO CONTACT! EMAIL DOES NOTHING, WHATS APP DOES NOTHING AND YOU ONLY CAN SEE TRACKING ON THEIR SITE! JUST TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE SERVICE. DONT BUY FROM THIS SHOP!

I returned a $370 pair of Birkenstocks 3 + weeks ago and have heard nothing. No email, no refund, no response to any emails. There is no active phone number - if you can even find a phone number - for online sales and even the shops don’t answer the phone - they ring out.
I am taking further action.
Update - They received my return on 21 November but did not refund, or reply to emails or contact me. When I finally got through today I had to provide tracking - then was told it had arrived on 21/11. I was told I would get a refund within 24 hours. 4 days later no refund and no reply to emails, and can’t get through on phone.
I finally got my refund on 12 December after another call and more emailing. 3 weeks after they received my return and only after I called and called. This company is atrocious.

Appalling interaction with the Manager at Wellington store when returning an online purchase where the company had sent the wrong size. The other younh staff were great. The Manager switched a shoe with one from the store by mistake which was obvious to me due to the mark on it, raised her voice in a flap that she was going to check the camera footage and never came back. I gave up after 15 minutes and just got a refund from the staff who looked embarrassed. Never will shop there again.
Customer Satisfaction is NOT something JD Sports cares for
Bought Nike TL Shox women shoes online,on special for $202 for my daughter in her typical size. Too small, as too narrow in the toe area. Tried to send back and exchange, but because the special had finished they wouldn't honor the reduced rate that i originally paid, and wanted me to pay full price of $270, and also pay the cost to courier shoes back to their depot. We do not have a JD Sports store in Gisborne. This business Does not have the customer in mind. My girl is excited to get these for christmas so ill be paying full price elsewhere and boycotting JD Sports all together.

I got exactly what I ordered both times, and the items arrived quickly.
This might not seem like a big deal, but considering that Culture Kings couldn’t even manage that — they messed up both of my orders — it actually is a big thing.
So, JD gets 5⭐️, and Culture Kings gets 0⭐️.

Exchange issue
I live in Taupō and bought a hoodie from Hamilton jdsports store for my granddaughters birthday on the 25th September. She did not like it so I phoned the store to see if I could exchange it as she had not worn it, I had the receipt and original packaging. They said it was 5 days after the 30 day refund period and could not exchange, I explained that the attendant said no problem to exchange when I made the purchase. I was happy to send a paid envelope for the exchange. I think that is very unfair especially as I did not want a refund just a simple exchange at no cost to them. Absolutely no customer care from this JDSPORTS Hamilton store.

Below average customer service
I’ve been shopping quite regularly at JD sports in Te Rapa and I have to say the customer service at the Te Rapa branch is consistently pretty below average.
I’m not expecting a full on yarn with you guys and I’m quite happy independently shopping, but I couldn’t help but notice that I and the customers in the store every time I’ve been there are not being engaged with and at the very least being greeted.
On one occasion, while I was in the fitting room, I heard employers complaining to each other about what section of the store they’ve been assigned to work in and it’s really awkward when they go all silent when you come out of the fitting rooms to get another size.
Don’t get me wrong, I love a good yarn at work with my colleagues, but there is a time and place. The most disrespectful part was when I am paying at the till, your employers can’t break away from their conversation for two seconds while the sale is being put through. On another occasion, One assistant (from memory Indian with glasses, she went out into the back room after so an employee for sure) stood with her coffee at the side of the till (must have been coming back from a break as her coffee was from Robert Harris) and was locked into a conversation with the cashier and they did not break away once to acknowledge me. Again, it’s just simple customer service 101 and it’s not a good look. Just say hello, fake it till you make it and read the room a little better. It’s the little things that go far guys.
To be honest I try on your clothes for sizing and then buy online because it just rubs me the wrong way every time I go in there.

Went to JD sports Albany opening on the 11th September, found the staff very helpful and professional a very enjoyable morning.
Would recommend family and friends to visit this store.

I was asked if I wanted a bag I said yes she said it was for 3 dollars the fabric one. When I asked her if there was no normal brown bags she lied and said they were out of stock. Then she rings two of them so basically 6 dollars. When I asked for refund. They were like no they can’t refund me. It was so unfair. Because she rang 2 bags I thought she would only ring 1 but she rang 2. Hence why I then asked for refund so now I got bags which I won’t even use. Afterwards the ones which she claimed were out of stock miraculously they reappeared and I got it for free. So they are very cunning those ladies.
