JFK Moving Company Avis 

I hired this company to move my 82 year old mom from Upland to Victorville. From beginning to end, I had a smooth and easy transition with everyone. The moving crew were very friendly, courteous and helpful. Great group of guys. I would definitely hire them again if needed.

I never really write reviews, but here's my second--because this experience was just that disappointing.

I only had a small bedroom's worth of items, and the move was just 8 miles away with zero traffic, yet it somehow took over 3 hours. The movers worked extremely slowly--it felt like they were deliberately dragging things out to stretch the time. They even started the clock before the second mover arrived, which didn't feel fair.

One of the movers touched me around my waist without permission, which made me really uncomfortable--especially since I was alone with him at the time. The second mover barely spoke English, so I couldn't effectively communicate or raise any concerns during the move.

The biggest item I had was a queen bed--I don't even own a couch or anything particularly bulky--so the amount of time they took just didn't add up. One of them also seemed very inexperienced.

I tipped them well out of courtesy, but looking back, I regret it. They broke a few hangers, stained the door and door frame (which I can live with), but more frustratingly, they broke both of my bedside tables. Maybe I just got unlucky, but overall, I felt disappointed, uncomfortable, and taken advantage of. I'll never use their service again.

Used this company twice and both times have been a wonderful experience. From booking the move to the interaction with the moving crew, the experience was top-notch! I would highly recommend JFK Moving and will use them again for any future moves!

They did a great job... fast and efficient! My only issue was when it came time to pay using Zelle. The telephone number the mover gave me was different than the number I used to pay the deposit, which gave me pause. I wanted to confirm that I was sending money to the right place. They wanted to be paid before they left, and they were in a hurry. They might want to think about streamlining their payment process.
