On transferring my Jiosoft software to a new P.C. I got all the help needed well done!

I have had Jiosoft for quite a number of years now. It is easy to use and I have always found the staff extremely helpful and patient, especially to an older person like me, and they reply to your emails within about half an hour giving you the help you need and offering more if you're still struggling. I would most certainly recommend this accounts programme, and have done so several times.

Super programme that loaded easily and took all files from previous Microsoft Money without problem.
The layout is easy to use being similar to what I have been used to.
Optional CD came by post (belts & braces) 2 says later. Help manual in programme very helpful

I purchased Jiosoft money programme five years ago. At that time I was helped several times learning it. But now all this time later, when I bought a new laptop, and wanted the programme on it Mike at Jiosoft really excelled at customer service. Not only did his email arrive on a Sunday, but he then sent a further E explaining how to do all I required. Fabulous Customer service, and at no cost to me. Just Brilliant.

We have been using Microsoft Money since it first appeared on a MS Works CD, but it has been unsupported for a long time now and I have been looking for a replacement for some time. I have just updated my laptop to Windows 11 and I was very surprised to see that it still worked but decided I must bite the bullet and try something new. I found 3 or 4 programs that would probably do the job but opted for for Jiosoft Money Manager, as it looked simple enough and is a UK company. MS Money had been almost perfect for us and this looked very similar, and was clearly targeting the aged MS Money in it's advertising. So I parted with my cash, paying the extra for a CD version as well!
The first hurdle came when trying to download the program! I run Malwarebytes premium and the Malwarebytes browser guard and the latter was warning about the download. I tried a different browser but got the same result. You can't phone the Jiosoft customer services so I filled in their contact form explaining the issue and sent it off at 1249 on Sunday. I used google, as you do, to try and find out what the problem was and I ended up on the Malwarebytes forum, where someone else had experienced this and an answer was given and Jiosoft had requested Malwarebyte to put Jiosoft Money Manager on their whitelist, whatever that is! But the program was declared safe. So I downloaded it on the laptop and then ran a scan with no Issues found. Then I noticed that I had a reply from Jiosoft, timed at 1553 on Sunday, explaining the problem. Personally I thought a reply in 3 hours on a Sunday seemed quite good, so that went in the plus box!
I had a bit of a play with it for a while and the layout seemed similar to MS Money. Then I set about transferring MS Money data into Jiosoft Money Manager and it turned out to be quite simple. It is a very clear presentation of information, in a format much the same as MS Money with some slight differences. I like the idea that categories and memos are displayed in each transaction all the time, unlike MS Money. I then went on to clear out a lot of the Payees that had accumulated in MS Money and it is a long old job as you can only remove one at a time. It will be fine when it is completed but the option to select multiple Payees at a time would be nice. Backing up is quite easy but it is a manual task, so you have to remember to do it every time you exit. By Default it seems to back up to a different file name each time, which makes a lot of back ups. I have got used to the auto backup in MS Money to a single file name every time you exit the program and it would be nice to have this option in the Money Manager at some point in the future.
Bearing in mind that we are both in our mid seventies and we don't use the software to it's fullest extent anyway, we are very pleased with the purchase and we will manage the small differences as we use it more. At the moment the two are running side by side on the desktop until we feel at home with the new one.

Excellent software, very intuitive with an excellent manual in the help section. a worthy successor to the venerable MS Money and with a friendlier interface.
Download went without a hitch and installation was simple. Transferred all data fromMS Money using a dongle and .quif file as detailed in the manual was simple. Standing orders and Credits had to be configured manually but this was a simple evolution. I would imagine many MS Money users, as they transfer to Windows 11, will be looking for a replacement - look no further, this is it.

Great software and great service. Nice to have a non-cloud based program that doesn’t require a monthly subscription. Also, very responsive to questions. Got me up and running in no time when I was unsure of how to set up a particular account. Well pleased! 👍👍👍

Having used the Home Accountz package for over 9 years I was disappointed to learn that the company was closing. I continued using the software but I was getting concerned that a few small bugs were causing some spurious reports so no longer had confidence in it.
I searched for a suitable software package for a replacement but found that most were US based packages or were free but had focussed adverts or covered more than I needed for personal accounting.
The Jiosoft package appeared to offer what I was looking for. I was a little concerned that I could not test it before purchase but decided to take the gamble and download thhe software.
After the software downloaded I thought I had made a big mistake and didn't consider that the software was suitable for my needs. The Help and Guidance provided is very limited but after corresponding with the company's customer support I was able to set up my personal accounts to my complete satisfaction.
Now I have had time to work through the package I have have found it does satisfy my needs. If the help and guidance was more detailed I would have given it a 5 star rating.

I used to use Home Accountz and after they closed I carried on using until I experienced intermittent crashes. So I migrated to Jiosoft and couldn't be happier. So easy to use and more than meets my expectations and needs. I couldn't be happier and would fully recommend.

I migrated to Jiosoft Money from YNAB4 several weeks ago. 5 accounts each with 20 years of data transferred seamlessly. I’ve run the two side by side and just done an end of month reconciliation. This is an excellent, easy to use, no frills product, very similar to Microsoft Money.

Having recently downloaded the Jiosoft Finance Software, I cannot believe how easy it is to use for personal finance control.

It is easier to use than Microsoft Money and your current state of affairs is
visible immediately on the dashboard - so anyone thinking about changing software have no fears - it really does simplify everything and worth every penny.

Having used Microsoft Money for about 20 years and found it excellent, it now appears that it will not work on Windows 11, so time for a change and update. Found Jiosoft Money Manager and the reviews looked good, so went ahead and purchased. Transferred all my accounts, which took a whole morning as they have to be done individually. Good points - bank accounts transferred seamlessly. Bad points - Investment accounts did not balance with MS Money, and no price history transferred. Eventually managed to balance the accounts by correcting the cash balances. Also no price history transferred, so lose 20 years of data. Further bad point - MS money reports are excellent with historical data eg net worth and spending reports over 20 years. There are are NO similar reports in Jiosoft, only current value reports. All in all the software is ok for current transactions but very poor for historic analysis, eg when I retired in MS Money I could analyse my spending and clearly see whether I could afford to retire. So conclusion is that the basic functions work ok, but reports are clearly missing. there is not even the facility to export historical data to excel for analysis. Not a full replacement for MS Money and poor value.

I had used Microsoft Money for 20 years to help me look after my personal finances. Last Friday it finally broke and I could not get it working again so needed to find something new. I googled what was available, saw JioSoft’s Money Manager, went to their website and read what it provided and was happy. I bought a copy and it is perfect. Even easier to handle than Microsoft Money.

Firstly, I would like to praise their customer service - they reply within a matter of hours, sometimes more quickly. That deserves 5 stars.

But I use my software a lot to create reports - so for example itemised lists of household expenses. And then if one expense seems high, I like to drill down on it and check what it was. Or do a report on all spending over £100. Jiosoft's reporting function doesn't support this. In reply to my query I was recommended to export the data to Excel and manipulate it there.

So Jiosoft doesn't do what I wanted it to do, and I have reverted to my rather outdated version of Quicken

I have been using this product for several years after Quicken withdrew from the market for home users. I have had no problems at all - it is a good workhorse in very regular use.
When I have had queries the responses have been prompt, friendly and knowledgeable.

I'm so glad I use Jiosoft accounting software. I used to use Microsoft Money but it was so out of date and I wasn't able to use it on my new laptop. It was very easy to transfer my 12+ years of data and the software is so easy to use. If I ever have a query I get the answer within minutes.
I've recently found out that I will still be able to use it on Windows 11 or I wouldn't be upgrading to 11.

Having been dumped by Home Accountz and previously MS Money, I needed an easy to understand money management program for simple home finances.
I checked a few online and happened upon JioSoft which seemed to do everything I needed and more. Coincidentally, a colleague also mentioned she’d moved to JioSoft and was delighted.
I spoke with Michael in customer services and he offered me a trial copy for a month, which I gladly accepted. It quickly became apparent that it would be ideal so I bought the program plus a copy on disk.
Two weeks later and I’m delighted with the easy to use program and the support, which comes by return of post, it’s lightning quick.
All in all it’s a first class program for the home or small business user; easy to install and run and extremely fast. To say I’m delighted is an understatement.
