Bought tickets for a party that didn't exist. Location was always TBA...
It is a Scam. Bought Tickets for Odense at everything was a lie. No answers on Whatsapp, E-Mail or Instagram. No refund! Please don't ever buy from them.
I bought tickets trough the student life for a party in Vancouver, and they were fake. The venue did not recognise them. I got in touch right after they answered once and eventually never answered to my request to refund me.
The best past for men wasn't even the party, it was the community around it. The virtual meet up and group made it so easy to find people to go with, and the event itself had good energy and easy conversations. I felt way less stressed about moving here after this. 10/10 would do again in another city.
5/5 honestly didn't expect much but it was actually such a good way to meet people fast. I went solo and left with a little group for pre-drinks + we're still in the whatsap chat planning stuff. Nice vibe, not awkward, and the team was helpful with info. If you're new in a city, this is a good shortcut to making friends.

I purchased a ticket for a party in Aarhus via Weeztix for an event organized by jointhestudentlife. When I arrived at the venue, it became clear that a ticket was neither required nor checked. I was able to enter without showing my ticket, and many other people entered freely without having a ticket at all. At no point during the event was my ticket scanned or requested.
This made the ticket effectively worthless. Had it been clear that entry was unrestricted and not controlled, I would not have purchased a ticket.
After the event, I contacted jointhestudentlife by email to explain the situation and request a refund, but I never received a response.
In addition, there is a WhatsApp group associated with the event where several people present themselves as students. Based on the way information and promotions were shared, it appeared to me that these individuals were closely connected to the organizers rather than being regular attendees. This created a misleading impression and further reduced my trust as a customer.
Overall, the poor organization, lack of transparency, and missing customer support were very disappointing. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend buying tickets for events organized by jointhestudentlife.
Just a add on to this review. After submitting this review TSL finally reached out to me. Via mail and on WhatsApp. I got a refund. Still my opinion on TSL hasn’t changed. I would not recommend TSL or buying a Ticket from them.

It's a total scam. I attended the semester kickoff in Aarhus on January 23rd at Die Bierbar and also bought a ticket for the welcome party on January 30th. Entry to the bars is completely free and they don't even ask for the QR code. Plus, they force you to pay for the wardrobe inside. At the second party, they even promised a free drink upon entry.

Honestly such a good way to meet people when you’re new in a city. I went to an event with TSL and ended up leaving with a bunch of friends. The WhatsApp is super active and it makes it way less awkward to show up somewhere alone. Would 100% recommend if you are a new student

They are scammers as their sell tickets for parties where the location doesn't know about the party

This is very likely to be a scam. I and many (with many I intend A LOT) people bought tickets for a Halloween party that still had to be announced. Absolutely no email or any communication was sent to inform us that, as they continuously say, the event was "cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances". I contacted them via e-mail, they replied after some time, and assured me that they would issue a complete refund to my bank account within “a few business days”. 20 days have passed so far but nothing happened!

I went to the Student Life party in Melbourne last semester and honestly didn't expect much, but it ender up being one of those nights where everything just clicks. The crowd was super easy to talk to, no awkwardness, no trying too hard. I met so many people from different backgrounds and it felt more like hanging out than a typical student event. As someone still figuring out my place here back than, this party actually helped me find the kind of people and vibe i fit with. I will TOTALLY go again 😍😍😍

I joined TSL community while studying abroad in Paris and had a great time. I made new friends, went to few nice parties, and explored the city with a great group. Friendly people and good vibes. Totally recommend if you’re on exchange or want to meet others abroad.
