I used Junk King about a year and a half ago and all went well. So I have a computer desk and a mattress set (full, which is just a size up from a twin) to move. I called to get an estimate...almost $400!! For 2 items that were to be moved from my living room, to my porch (which is right next to my lving room) and down 5 steps to the curb! The price was ridiculous and I told them I did not want the service. So what did they do? Referred my information to a branch office for a follow-up. They (Andrea) sent an email and I responded that I did not want the service. I unsubscribed. They sent another email. I responded and said to please remove my information. They kept sending emails, and text messages despite my instructions to stop. I decided to call the branch office number in the email to speak to someone. Nope...they keep you on hold and then ask you to leave a name and number. I tried twice...same thing. I finally called the local office again and complained that they referred me to a branch office and to please remove all of my information from their records and to stop all communication. I said if they did not, I would complain to the Attorney General's office and the FCC. We'll see if they take me seriously. They have ruined any prospect of me returning to their business.

The guys from Junk King were awesome. They were prompt friendly and did a fantastic job! I will definitely use them again in the future.

I found their flyers littered all over my housing complex, in gardens and on lawns, after a company rep went around putting them on our doors. I do not need the services of a company that just spreads MORE junk around the neighbourhood.

What a nightmare getting them to come out for an estimate!. Initially they me a 2 hour window. Then, earlier in the day they were to come out, they asked if they could come 2 hrs early. I agreed and showed up at my house and waited an hour. Then, after I texted them to ask whete they were, they said they were sorry but stuck between jobs, could we meet in 1 hour. Literally, 30 minutes, they asked to rechedule. So, this is what a compsny does, ruin a entire day I arranged to meet and only to ask to reschedule when things don't work for them? OMFG! Don't call unless you want your day ruined.

We were told that they needed 3 people to remove our junk. They charged us $634.00 and one person showed up and removed everything in 35 minutes.

It was scam.

I WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH THIS COMPANY. DALTON & MELANIE ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND WORK HARD TO GET THE JOB DONE.

I got an estimate from Junk king and it was the low bid. I reserved a time a week in advance from 3 to 5 pm as my couch was due to arrive the next day. On the day of the haul away I got a call at 11:07 to pick the couch and two more items up early. I was teaching a class and told the driver I could not talk because I was teaching a college class. I was angry for being interrupted. When I arrived home at 2:30 pm I got a cancel order and when I called to reschedule I was told that I could not because I had cursed. This was a lie. I was angry but did not curse anyone out. I find this company to be very unprofessional and will never use them again. I advise you avoid them. This was in Greenvile SC.

Had an appointment to haul away a mattress. We purchased this through Amazon prime. Put the mattress out at 6 am for a 9 am - 12 pm pickup. We were totally prepared. Driver called that they would be there at 12 noon. No show. At 1:06 pm, we received an email from Amazon stating the services were cancelled and to contact the seller. We tried calling the number and the call would no go through. Looked up the seller online and tried to call. The number would not go through. Chatted and they advise they could not help us. I asked to schedule this locally with them and they advised they don't have access to schedule. I guess they do not want our business.

The pricing was fair, the service was prompt but I was promised a certificate or statement the wood stove was rendered useless in accordance with Oregon law. I never received such as certificate or statement. Now I may be faced with a $750 fine.

DO NOT USE!!!! TOTALLY UNRELIABLE. I WASTED TWO AFTERNOONS HANGING AROUND WAITING FOR THESE GUYS WHO NEVER CAME OR CALLED!
I wasted 2 days waiting for Junk King to come and pick up an old dishwasher. When they didn't come a half hour after their window of arrival, I called and was told they were running behind and they will call me when they are coming. So we waited another hour, still no one came. I called back and told them they never came or called and she said they called us but we didn't answer the phone. NOT TRUE! NO CALL. Made another appointment for the next day. Same thing happened even though I called Junk King 3 separate times saying that no one called and they are an hour past their window.

Jason and Logan was an Amazing pair. Two Great men. I really appreciate their services. Very personable and hard working. keep up the good work.

Dave and Kyle just completed hauling my junk and they were fabulous! I truly appreciated the fast and efficient service they gave. The pricing was more then fair.

first and last time I will try to use Junk King. Used website to book a couch removal for today - requested 12-2pm today but it gave me a message that I needed to call to book. Which I did and they assured me that previous appointment hadn't gone thru. So booked over the phone this time for 1-3pm arrival today. I did receive two separate email confirmations with different #'s on it - first for 12-2pm arrival. second for 1-3 arrival. Well by 2:45pm they hadn't shown up nor had I received any calls. So called the 888 #. That customer rep said she would check with the driver to get anticipated arrival time. She did call me back and said they were running very late and did I want to book for a different day. I said no I'd rather wait for later in the day today as the couch is currently sitting on my front lawn She said ok and that I'd be receiving a phone call from the driver. Its now 7:35pm and no show no call. I did get an email cancelling one of the two appointments at 3:43pm but technically the other is still open. And I say to myself maybe the customer service person misunderstood that I wanted to rebook for a different day - but if she had thought this wouldn't she have tried to book me for another day? I can totally understand if people are running behind, short-handed any number of reasons why they might be running late. But rule # 1 of great customer service is to communicate with the customer. Very poor job Junk King. Although I realize that I'm typing this on the Junk King Albany facebook page and I think mine might have been the Junk King Delanson based on appointment confirmation emails. But Junk King Delanson doesn't seem to have a facebook page.

2020 was a bad year all around, we had an old GE chest freezer in the basement for about 60 yrs!!!!! It died in 2020. I decided to wait until this year to get someone to remove it. I looked around online and found Junk King.com and liked how they represented themselves. What a find!! The scheduled day two young gentlemen showed up, they tried but realized it was bigger and heavier than two people could handle getting it up the steps and outside. They said they would come back the next day with help, I was worried I would never see them again... but I was happily impressed with the promise they fulfilled. 5 young strong men showed up on time (both days) and got that monster out of there! I was so happy and impressed!!! They used their heads and muscles and got the job done. I will definitely call on them again! Thank you Reggie, Travon, Rob, Pete and Mike you guys are the best!
