Just Fix - A Great App

JustFix is a great app! I’ve used it twice now: once for a plumbing issue and another time to get a new front door fitted. On both occasions, I only had to make one call; everything was taken care of, work happened on time, to my satisfaction, and for the price quoted. The tradespeople were friendly, and they cleaned up after themselves. 5 stars from me!

Worst experience of any trade app

Simple fill hole, sand and paint job. Took the fixer 5 separate visits over two weeks to create a horrible un-finished mess.

This is not an app full of professionals. This is a expensive scam full of chancers who have never done a trade in their life.

The HQ will say it's their best person and make it seem like your being un-reasonable but a blind person could do a better job in half the time for a quarter of the price.

AVOID at all costs and DIY.

Following examination of your job and a thorough review of the before-and-after photographs taken on site, which unfortunately, we are unable to share on this platform, it is very clear that the job was carried out professionally and to a high standard. The evidential pictures speak for themselves.

The before photos clearly show extensive pre-existing damage, failed plaster, cracking, and staining prior to any work commencing.

The Fixer did raise concerns during the job regarding moisture and drying conditions affecting the walls being worked on. Despite this, we were instructed to proceed. As previously explained, attempting cosmetic repairs on walls that have not had sufficient time to dry will always limit the achievable finish, regardless of time spent.

Please be assured our office team are all valued members of staff who work extremely hard to provide an exemplary service; our Fixers are vetted and verified professional trades people, with a wealth of experience and knowledge.

To date you have not paid for the time, expertise and workmanship provided by our Fixer. As a goodwill gesture, we have already agreed to waive the cost of the final two visits. The remaining charge reflects a reduced cost for labour and materials used, which we consider reasonable and proportionate.

With reference to images we have sent to you detailing the work, we would welcome a clear explanation regarding how you believe the works carried out left the property in a worse condition than it was originally.

We look forward to hearing from you to resolve this matter.

The booking system was quick and easy…

The booking system was quick and easy and someone was found and assigned to my job the same day. The guys who turned up were friendly and did a great job of fixing and sealing a new panel on the side of my bath. Would definitely use Just Fix again!

Would definitely recommend JustFix

Very happy with the service we received. Dion arrived and got on with the job with an understated professionalism that was much appreciated. He was thorough and honest when asked for his opinion.
The administrators who arrange the call-outs are efficient, respond quickly, are very pleasant and use text as well as calling which is really useful as it is not always convenient to answer a call or reply to a text, so the combination works well.
I would recommend JustFix and will definitely use them again.

Don’t turn up, unreliable and only allow good reviews

This is my second review as the company reported my first in an effort to get it removed. Booked an engineer to re-hang some integrated appliance doors. Told they would arrive between 8-12. Nobody arrived so I text the number given to report this. I received a call from someone who sounded like they were reading from a script, saying that the engineer had a family emergency. I tried to query why I wasn’t told this until 30 minutes after the time slot ended but the person spoke over me so much that I genuinely believed it was a recording or an AI programme! I put in a complaint and received another call to say the engineers previous appointment had overrun which again was strange as you would know this way before your next appointment. She said he was 50 minutes away. I then received a third call from a supervisor (by which time I had posted a review) she offered an appointment for 5:30pm that evening which was a Friday evening!! Who in their right mind would want a workman in their house at that time, bearing in mind we were also going out. I declined this and was told that if I took the review down, she would send someone on Tuesday between 9-12. I took the review down but as you can guess, Tuesday came and went and nobody turned up. I complained again and was told the job had overrun. By this time I’d had enough of this company, especially as I was being charged well over £100 for the first hour! I’ve since seen other negative reviews. I posted another review but the company responded saying I should have accepted the Friday evening appointment. They then reported saying my post was defamatory and requested it was taken down. Avoid. Unprofessional and only slowing positive reviews. I have shared elsewhere
I got the job done by a local handyman for £65!

Unfortunately sometimes our Fixers are delayed or detained completing another job and we do let our customers know as swiftly as possible if this is the case. You were offered another time slot on the day of your original appointment, as we hoped that would be convenient to you. Which you rejected as it was a Friday, so we re-arranged your appointment for Tuesday. Your fixer was running behind schedule, for which we apologise. We were trying to call you regarding your fixer being late and to let you know he was on the way, but you did not want to speak to us.

Please be assured all our operatives are professional, valued members of staff and work as a team. Our customers are very important to us and we are always honest and they are never contacted using a recorded message via a script or an AI.

Your previous review contained untruths and was therefore removed by Trust Pilot. We do not have the authority to remove or control reviews but can flag up when they are defamatory.

As you are aware, you were not charged anything at all as we were not afforded the opportunity to assist you.

Trusted for more than 8 years

I've trusted BoilerPRO/JustFix with my boiler service for the past 8 years and I'm very happy with the service. They've taken good care of my boiler, never had any issue with it. The same gas engineer came for the last 3 services and he always gives good advice. The price is very reasonable too. I recommend this company.

Terrible

Terrible. Wanted a simple job of fixing an internal door. Guy turned up wanted 3 hours pay for a 20 minute job. I got charged over £120 for call out. Cancelled the job as would have cost hundreds more to use them. Got it done for £130.00. Never felt so ripped off in my life. Would never use again. What an unbelievable “service”. Shocking.

The first was a quick fix solution that could have been completed in the first hour and the option of a replacement. Unfortunately you did not wish to proceed with either option.

We do charge a fee for the first hour as is clearly started on our website and in our terms and conditions, as you can appreciate, we need to pay the fixer for their time and expertise.

Would use again

JustFix provided carpenters to replace my staircase bannister. The carpenters were friendly, efficient, and did an excellent job. Communication with the office was also seamless, with prompt responses and helpful information provided.
