Always get good efficient service with Kams. I’m fussy about where I take my vans but have no qualms about recommending these guys from my experience at either Ambergate OR Heanor. Thanks again🙏

Booked for an aircon regas

Booked for an aircon regas. Called 45 minutes later to check on the progress only to tell me the aircon pipe has a crack which they could have told me much sooner. Bring it back the next day and they ordered the wrong part, holding up my plans even further. Will now have to arrange for other solutions due to going to hospital for treatment. Very dissatisfied. Definitely will actively encourage people i know to stay well clear from here.

Compelled to write a review tonight…

Compelled to write a review tonight about the outstanding service I’ve had from
KAM servicing Bulwell branch .
Broke down m1 slip road googled and these guys were nearest, rang then a lively guy called Paul talked me through and I decided to crawl there very slowly .
The guys were super friendly and very professional they showed me what had happened under the bonnet and went through what they could do .
They sorted parts and got me back on the road in a couple of hours amazing 🤩 I really thought it wouldn’t be done that day .
So very grateful and happy thank you Paul and team
You went above and beyond your attitude talking me through everything so clearly and also sorting so quickly I was bowled over .
Thank you thank you what s team ., I’ll be telling the world how amazing you are .,
And if course anything else I will use my local Sinfin derby branch for sure.,

Very friendly staff

Very friendly staff. I turned up with no appointment, urgently needing my car checked and the team were so friendly they dealt with me straight away and solved the problem. Really appreciate them dealing with the issue promptly, smily friendly staff, definitely recommend

ABOVE AND BEYOND

Can’t thank KAM enough. They went above and beyond (especially Paul) to help with my son’s car. We went in just as they were going home one evening with a bit of an emergency as my son needed his car to drive to London the next day. They must have pulled out all the stops to make sure the car was safe and ready with enough time for him to continue to make his planned journey.
We’ve used KAM for many years now. Never had any problems. They’ve always been courteous and professional. Would highly recommend. Thank you so much to you all.

You may end up with a damaged vehicle…

Took my vehicle to a KAM garage and was extremely disappointed to find lubricant scraped across the paint work of my vehicle.
After closer inspection I could see that whatever the staff in the workshop had done to scrape lubricant over the paint work had also caused damage to the vehicle and the front bumper wasn’t even in place correctly.

I complained before I left and a member of staff came out wiped the lubricant away and pushed the bumper back into place. He did these things before taking pictures of the damage - I assume looking back this could be so it didn’t look like it was their fault? I was reassured that the staff would watch the CCTV and get back to me.

They have got back to me and said that there is nothing on CCTV.

Seeing as the bumper was not in place correctly and tyre lubricant was scraped across my car all where the damage has occurred it is clear that they have caused the damage - I am not sure why they couldn’t see this on the CCTV?
They do not seem to be taking responsibility for what has happened and I am extremely disappointed as I have recommended this garage to friends before as I thought it was so good when I have used it previously and have even stuck up for the garage when others have said they have had an issue as I have (until this time) always had a great experience.

Update after response from KAM:
I am very disappointed with your offer as cleaning the car won’t put the paint back on that’s been scraped off. I would appreciate a more thorough internal investigation about what has happened for this incident.

Update over a month after the experience:
No point contacting the email that is in the reply below. In the response below they said they would discuss further options however when I asked for screen shots of the CCTV I was told they didn’t have enough time, when I asked why the people who worked on my car hadn’t been asked what happened I was ignored, the only option was for me to travel to the garage to watch the CCTV so not sure why they said we could discuss further options? I was told by the man in the garage the white stuff looked like tyre lubricant but then he has told the area manager he didn’t think it could be as it wouldn’t dry that way.. not sure what I am supposed to believe at this point! I have been ignored several times by the email I was told to contact, they clearly do not want to regain trust so not sure why they put that in the response either.

Update after KAMs second response on the 1/08/24.
Thanks for the reply. I was told the footage was no longer available to get screen shots of my vehicle entering the garage after being told you did not have time to find it? Sorry I am now confused as to whether it is or is not available as what you have said below does not match what was said via email.

I brought my car to the Sawley branch…

I brought my car to the Sawley branch and they were fantastic in working around my availability when dropping off my car and picking it back up. I was also surprised on how quick they got to the root of the issues with my vehicle. I will definitely be using them again. Cheers Chris

I have used Kams for many years for…

I have used Kams for many years for MOT`s, Services & odd Mechanical repair. Recently took my 70 plate Vauxhall Corsa F for wet belt change. I`m so pleased with the level of custom service and work they carried out on my car I really felt I should leave them a review. The manager at Long Eaton branch Sunny is a lovely chap always willing to help and staff are polite, friendly. They showed me the wet belt and was lucky I had it done. The work Kams have done for me over the years is 100% and pricing I would say is fair. Just want to say thank you to Kams and would recommend.

Car battery key

I have been coming here for around 3 years. I recently had MOT and service and they are brilliant.
This evening my battery key went at around 5:30pm, called in at KAM, Belper, Nottingham road, and Frank sorted it out straight away.
Really grateful for their service and can’t recommend enough!

Great communication and service.

I recently had my car's air-conditioning repaired at KAM Servicing, and I am extremely satisfied with the experience. The team was incredibly helpful and provided valuable advice throughout the process. A special thank you to SOM, who kept us informed every step of the way, ensuring we understood the issues and the repair work being done.

The professionalism and expertise of the staff were outstanding, and they went above and beyond to make sure the job was done right. The air-conditioning now works perfectly, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received.

Poor service had my car MOT here and…

Poor service had my car MOT here and they are pulling everything up so i thought ide get a second opinion and the garage passed it. These are just out to get your money don't take it there take it to we only MOT cars as they won't up sell anything and they will put the gospel truth on there not just making anything up as it goes I will be reporting these to vosa and the vehicle standards agency colwick Nottingham branch scammers
