My car was written off on March 6th. Despite numerous emails, phone calls etc and a promise yesterday that my settlement would be paid into the bank urgently. Nothing happened. They do not care one single bit.
The Total Loss Team is a Total Loss!!!

It took almost a month to get my car repaired. It cost me £24 pounds to speak to the insurers.
Fromstart to finish it was so stressfull when it need not have been.
From having pay the excess and now finding out it will go against me on my next renewal is not good.
This bump was not my fault, somebody hit my car in a car park.
Will i insure with KPG again certainly NOT

KGM are STILL abusing me. We have STILL not agreed a settlement after 15 months. Lied to the DVLA about this situation TOO. Apparently they MISTAKENLY told the DVLA that they owned the car when they DID NOT. This created issues for me with please transfer
I wish there was an option to give minus stars. KGM Underwriting has been one of the worst insurance companies I have ever dealt with.
It took an entire month just to get an estimate for my car, which is completely unacceptable. The whole process has been slow, stressful, and badly managed.
To make things worse, the repairers they use are even worse than the company itself, and my car is still with them with no proper progress or clear communication.
I have experienced misleading information and empty promises throughout the claim process. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, avoid KGM Underwriting and look elsewhere for insurance. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Communication was terrible. I put in the details for the claim and heard nothing, so I emailed and got a very curt - it's been received. It was then a month before I was instructed to get an estimate at a repairer of my choice. I did this and submitted and a couple of weeks later the repairer contacted me to bring the vehicle in - nothing from the insurer. In over 30 years of motoring this is my first experience of needing to claim (not my fault) so I don't know if this is normal, but certainly not what I would expect for customer service.

After the accident I was able to carry out everything by phone and email.
Also had the option of using my own repairers to do the job, also having a dash cam was an extra bonus. Repair is now complete and very happy with the whole process.

After a bumpy start, everything went smoothly and everyone involved have been very courteous and kind and I am happy to say that H Sampson Garage have been excellently my car was delivered back on the 12th December everything was don and it had also been valeted so yes everything was great, thank you.
