Thank you to Sally and her team for all the love and kindness they used when cremating my sweet boy peanut. I appreciated them answering all my questions in this difficult time and everything I received when he came home to me. I will certainly recommend them to anyone. They did a fantastic job. I was shattered to have to say goodbye to my 20 year old cat who had been with me since childhood. I left Sally an incomprehensible voice message and she got back to me within the hour with pure kindness and empathy. She kindly allowed us to bring Hamish to her in person, where she helped us with paw prints and other kind mementos. I have never experienced a business like hers in the animal care industry - completely personal and human. No admin, no intermediaries, no shareholder profits, just a kind person there to offer grounding at your most vulnerable, and to treat your friend's remains with genuine compassion.

Beautiful Beatrice was a champion standard poodle who took her last walk with me in a favourite place, before she collapsed and passed away in my arms. Aged 14 and in poor health, I wanted her to enjoy everything until the end. It was a fitting end, in a beautiful place.and in my arms.
When that time comes, it's never easy whatever the circumstances.
She was such a character and was loved by many people.
Sally came within hours of my call and I carried Bea to the vehicle and placed her in a bed. Obviously I was very upset and Sally was very kind and understanding. Bea was returned personally by Sally a few days later with our keepsakes, prints, fur trimmings and Bea's candle etc.
I want to thank Sally for her kindness and excellent service.
I would not hesitate to recommend Kind Funerals to anyone saying goodbye to their beloved pet.

I felt our dog's cremation was in safe hands and this was very important.

Cremating Zeus was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. He’s a big dog 55kg of muscle and moving him from the van seemed impossible.

Sally directed us how to cradle Zeus into the cremation chamber ourselves. That meant everything to me. My son and I both needed closure.

Sally understood that and she listened to our stories and had a feel for the cheeky chappie we were putting to rest.

She gave me a moment to honour him properly, to say goodbye in my own way. I’ll always be grateful for how she handled us and the task.

Simply the most kind and lovely person I’ve ever met!

For over 15 years Rosie was a member of our family and was loved by us all.
When she left us we were devastated, and wanted her to be treated with respect.
We contacted Sally and she came straight away and comforted us and ensured us that she would look after Rosie the way she would with her own.
Sally carried Rosie carefully to her car and places her in a bed and gave us time to say goodbye and gave us a hug before they went.
Sally brought Rosies ashes back to the house within a few days and even remembered Ruby our other dog, to us it showed she cared.

I am deeply thankful to Sally from Kind Funeral for supporting me through the cremation of my beloved Tok Hoi in July. She helped me say goodbye with such compassion and dignity. Sally is a kind, lovely, compassionate lady who took care of our beautiful labrador, Chloe. We lost her so suddenly it was a lot to cope with. But Sally took so much of the worry away, collecting Chloe for us so quickly and taking wonderful care of her, through her final journey. She went above and beyond with the little keepsakes for us to remember her by, we honestly couldn't have asked for more. Thank you, Sally. Sally is a very nice kind lady. We have brought two hamsters to her for cremation and both times she treated them with care and compassion as if they were still alive. She does a little service beforehand and thanks them for being in our lives and making us happy for that short time they were with us.
She has let us stay throughout and even talked my then fifteen year old morbidly curious daughter through the process. We were allowed to watch the whole thing.
On the second one she made us leave the little unit the cremation takes place in while she did a service for someone else’s cat, and rightly so as I’d like to think that my animals would be treated the same in our absence and treated as the individual loved pet they once were, still are in a way.
I’m so pleased I chose their services instead of the other two places I originally enquired with. And the price is extremely reasonable too and she gives a few little extras to help remember our pet by.
Extremely impressed and will definitely bring our next pet here once they pass.

It was such a relief to find Sally and Kind Funerals. From her very first email reply, Sally put me at ease with a perfect combination of compassion, empathy, and practicality. Sadly, our pet's condition deteriorated quickly and we had to move things forward by a few days. Sally answered our call on a Sunday and was incredibly kind, helpful, and understanding.

I can’t emphasise enough how comforting it was to speak to a real human being – someone who truly understood what we were going through.

During such a sad time, the experience I had with Kind brought so much comfort. The lady who I spoke to on the phone when I called (I’m afraid I don’t know her name) was so warm and helpful, then Sally contacted me back quickly, before pretty much leaving straight away to pick up my beloved pet.

Clover (my pet) is already back home with me three days later, alongside lovely ink paw prints, clay paw prints and a fur sample.

Two things that brought so much comfort were the kindness of the team and the fact that Clover was picked up from my home, rather than having to leave her at the vets.

Losing my beloved cat Stewie — my best friend, my companion, my soul mate — was one of the most devastating moments of my life. His passing was sudden, only 4yrs old and I was completely overwhelmed with grief and disbelief.

When we as a family woke up last week, we found our beautiful dog Carmel had passed overnight ending 14 years of love, affection, loyalty & fun - To say we were distraught would be an understatement. Once composed we knew straight away we wanted her to be looked after by the very best! - After various calls by my daughter, she exclaimed “I have found the perfect place, after speaking to a lovely lady, Sally at KIND” - Sally arrived within 2 hours and as soon as she stepped in she metaphorically held all our hands with sympathy and empathy and guided us through the process. Sally personally brought our Carmel back a couple of days later and spent time with us on the handover obviously realising how difficult it was for us. We are so lucky we found KIND and we have no hesitation in awarding 5* - We will never forget your kindness Sally which made the experience a little easier.
