Worst buying experience ever

I have had multiple Kizik shoes in the past and have absolutely loved them. The original creator (Mike Pratt) is an amazing human and so it pains me to write this review.
The Kizik.com site is AWFUL! Having spent most of Black Friday and Cyber Monday being bombarded but their relentless sale ads I finally caved and bout 2 pairs of shoes on 12/3/24.
I didn’t see them or any tracking for over a week and so I called their customer service and they assured me that they received my order and that despite them being backed up, was still being processed. However, here I sit on 12/22/23 nearly 20 days later with no shoes and when I log in to track it the only message says it is on its way to the carrier and it hasn’t moved since 12/10. It is clear that there are some major logistical issues here and that the company needs to regroup and focus more on fulfillment and creating happy customers than simply placing orders to boast year end sales numbers and then not fulfilling. It is clear by the reviews that I’m not alone in my frustration and I hope the choose to improve

Badly managed company

Badly managed company. “Sells” products they don’t actually have in stock. I bought a pair of boots on Nov 10, 2024 that I paid $355 for. I sent 2 emails inquiring about the whereabouts of the boots and finally phoned today (Dec 19) only to be told that they had canceled the order without informing me. However they hung on to my money all this time! I insisted on a refund NOW! Most disappointed with this company. I do not recommend purchasing from it.

Last Time - think this company has gone downhill

Gosh so many bad reviews and I am now experiencing this.

I have had 2 different styled Kizik shoes both of which were great. I then thought I'd order another different style that appear more suitable for my walks (usually 6-10km's at a time) and boy was I wrong, when I wore them I ended up with a sore knee, it felt like I was slipping, yet got cramp in my feet (as I would if the shoe was too tight), I contacted Kizik and they were not interested, I even re tried once I got orthotics, thinking maybe they'd help, unfortunaely made no difference.

And I stupidly thought I'd order another pair of a style I already had, that were getting a bit old, unfortunatley I now find myself in a situation that the money has been taken from my credit card and 5 weeks later I still have no shoes, I have just sent my 3rd email and after reading other reviews the email responses are very similar and not really any action has been taken.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER AND SHOES NOT THAT GREAT

Own 1 pair of their shoes and they are just OK. Fit not great. I should have returned them. Tried to get a pair of the Juno mid women's boots and they have been out of stock of almost all of them for months. Emailed customer service almost 3 weeks ago, no response. Got on the chat the other day and the rep said he would check and be right back...waited over 20 minutes and he never came back. I am finished with Kizik!!!

Wasted $100 on Shoes I Can't Wear

So I contact Kizik politely in late November 2024, to explain my situation: Love their Madrid Eco Knit, which I’ve been wearing for several years (have bought several pairs by now). Love it so much that I bought a pair to keep in reserve.

When I took it out to wear, I discovered that the construction of the shoe had been changed. (The most obvious change was the enlargement of the outsole, which now looked somewhat bloated and clown-like—I did not include this in my message.)

My big toes hurt when I wear the shoes now, no matter how gradually I try to break them in. “Do you have any suggestions, please?” I ask. I thought maybe that stretching them out in a certain way might help.

I get a response from someone with the name Maricel, who first asks for my (most recent) order number, which I promptly provide.

Maricel then informs me that I am out of luck. Maricel contacted the warranty department, which responded by saying that the shoes don’t qualify for a return. The email concludes with the happy message, “The best is always around the bend.”

I hadn’t asked to return the shoes. I had asked for guidance as to what someone in my situation might do. This was not a question for the warranty department.

I’ve tried stretching out the shoes with some heavy wooden shoe trees but so far, no luck. Looks like I wasted $100 on shoes that I won’t be able to wear.

I remember how wonderful customer service at Kizik was in years gone by. Too bad that this seems to have changed.

Be careful when purchasing. Very careful.

I've bought six pairs of roamer kiziks and without warning, they discontinued the roamer, the only kizik shoe that I can wear. I didn't find this out until I tried the sierra boot and had to return it because it didn't fit right. I tried another size, but they still didn't fit right. Lima didn't work for me either. So now they won't refund my money. I'm stuck with $187 gift card with nothing to buy. Then I got a 15% discount. It's a nice gesture, but there's still nothing for me to buy there. Be weary! Don't commit until you've 100% determined that they are the right shoes for you.

Terrible customer service at their…

Terrible customer service at their store in the Fashion Place Mall I went in with a new pair of shoes and wanted to upgrade to a softer shoe or a recovery shoe since I've been in several accidents the salesperson was very curt and didn't even listen to me and there was a little bit of dirt on them he inspected them with a microscope and wouldn't even negotiate with me I was willing to take any kind of offer and then upgrade and pay for a more comfortable shoe my recommendation is just stick with Skechers extra comfort extra cushion. They're much better shoe and much less expensive and if the sales people aren't going to represent their product that is double the price of Skechers that's a real shame on them they should have treated me better I am good judge of character and I don't think this company representative should work with people he was sloppy looking and show no empathy and customer service poor customer service from the sales manager. If they claim easy returns then it should be easy to aleast get some service. I now have a new pair of kitz that won't be worn. I feel bad my daughter and son in law wasted their money. I have blue athens and was willing to pay more for the londons Im a shoe guy and this experience will make me never consider this brand. Save your money don't buy. If I where treated better I would have become a ambassador Richard Jensen 435 602-9385.

I got a completely empty box

I got a completely empty box. It was not even sealed. I contacted customer service who did not even reply. I am having to go through Paypal to get my money back. I actually wanted these shoes but the company is terrible.

Waited nearly 3 weeks to dispatch item

The ordered item still wasn't dispatched after 14 days. I contacted the company via different sources and received no reply or automated responses. Just don't order from them.

I wish I had read reviews before…

I wish I had read reviews before purchasing.
I loved my 1st and2nd pair, so I thought another pair would be fine.
After very little wear and 3 months, the shoes failed.
I sent pictures in only to find out that they aren’t covered under warranty(wear & tear) funny, I have no issues with my other older pairs
Horrible customer service and the product quality seems to be going down hill.
Steer away from this brand. There are many other cheaper brands that offer the easy on option.

Careful when wet...

Kizik shoes are a great concept and, for the most part, deliver style and comfort. Sadly, it has been my experience that my black Vegas shoes started to leak black dye after being caught in a major downpour. As my hands, socks, and the white soles were quite stained, I did my best to clean up and let the shoes dry off. 48 hours later, the dye still came off with a quick wipe with a damp paper towel. "Beyond warranty date" I was told despite my contention that this was a manufacturing defect. Maybe just a bad batch (I do have another pair in white that has weathered much better). So disappointing that I cannot wear these great shoes if there is any chance they may get wet. Flabbergasting.

I have 3 pair and rarely wear anything…

I have 3 pair and rarely wear anything else. These are the most comfortable shoes I own. As an arthritic 70 year old they make putting on shoes easy.

I had to return one pair. The extra wide was just too wide for me. The process was simple and easy. The replacement pair shipped to me as soon as I dropped of the pair being returned at the shipping company.

My only complaint is that I wear the so much I have worn holes in the interior lining of my first pair. I would appreciate a longer lasting material. Changed model of shoe and the problem has not returned.

Kiziks does not stand behind their brand

Bought a pair of Kiziks for a Christmas gift. Within a few months, and only a handful of times wearing them, the bottom split. I emailed pictures that clearly show no worn spots. Customer service said it was wear and tear.
Would never recommend anyone to purchase sneakers from them.

Hide the ball

I purchased a pair of shoes and it appears they were final sale. The final sale information is not listed in the cart or anywhere after purchase. Going back to the website I noticed it is in black font under the fold (so you need to scroll down to see it on the phone after you have already selected a size). So it is very easy to miss. It seems deceptive and put there on purpose to miss. Most company’s use red font to highlight this information. I would not have bought the item had I known it was final sale. It doesn’t fit my son and now I can’t return. Horrible customer service on this issue as well. Didn’t even offer credit or anything for the company’s deceptive practice.

Returns are not easy!

Terrible return! Tried to use website to return an order. The website kept directing me to shop for something I liked and get a credit for the item I wanted to return. Emailed customer service and I’m still waiting for a response!
