I'd never been a part of a health share before and was nervous to see how a serious situation would be handled. When I had an urgent need, Knew Health delivered. The customer service was amazing. I worked with Kerry the whole way through the claim. She understood that it was time sensitive and she returned my calls and emails promptly. Within 3 days I had my surgery approved for coverage, within 7 I had it performed. After working together to negotiate the various bills down, Knew Health sent me the money to pay all of them off before they were due. They really came through and I'm so grateful I decided to join!

I submitted my request for an ER visit on April 29, 2026. Today is June 8, 2026 and it still hasn't been paid. I signed up with Knew Health beginning January 2026. They have paid my kids well check up visits in a timely manner so I did not expect this when we actually needed them for an emergency. After I submitted my request, they immediately requested a release to get the medical records to make sure it wasn't a preexisting issue. I submitted the releases on May 1, 2026. There is no way to track requests online and nobody provides any updates so I had to email multiple times for an update and hope that they would give me exact details about what's happening instead of some generic response that it's pending which I obviously already know. After sending multiple emails asking very specific questions, they confirmed that they received the records on May 12, 2026 but still hadn't reviewed them on May 27, 2026. I emailed again requesting an expected timeframe as it had been a month since my request. I finally received a response on June 1, 2026 that it was processed. Here it is today, June 8th, 2026, and I'm still waiting on a direct deposit from them so I can make the full payment. I reach out to them AGAIN today and they tell me that they need proof that I paid my portion before they will issue payment. That should have been explained to me on June 1st when they told me it was "processed." I've sent proof of that payment today so let's see what the next excuse will be the next time that I reach out to them requesting an update. This experience has made me nervous for my family if anything even more serious happens. My family's health isn't something to be taken lightly. Unexpected medical expenses can cause financial ruin if they aren't paid. They fact that they have had no urgency in paying this request has made me reconsider going back to traditional insurance to protect my family.

I was exploring health sharing and was able to get on a call with Juliet Smith who talked me through how a health share works and everything that Knew Health offers. We talked for over an hour and I felt comfortable and informed to make the decision to move forward. Then once we started our membership I was able to meet with Nicole Negron who very clearly walked me through the website and discussed use cases for how to make the most of the membership. After having had traditional health insurance for my whole life, this was a breath of fresh air and has made me feel more controlled and a little less bitter about healthcare and the systems available. The team is human and English-speaking (which is increasingly rare these days) but on top of that they are responsive, communicative, and timely, taking care of things immediately and giving updates. They are proactive and think outside the box; if they see that something would be helpful to do or to let me know about, they do it (as opposed to doing the bare minimum as late as they could, like my previous healthcare coverage team). Keep up the good work!

Throughout the process, I worked with Tosha, who was super-responsive and helpful. Much better than any experience I had with traditional health insurance, including a Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, let alone a bronze-tier Marketplace plan, which would cost our family about the same amount as Knew Health.

I'm a physician and my family and I have been using knew health for 1.5 years now. Everytime an issue has come up they're staff has been responsive and helpful. I've had a few suprise health issue with my family and have had all of them reimbursed as I expected without delay or issues. I've recommended this service to friends and family and really can't understand why anyone would pay higher prices for worse service. As a self pay you can see any doctor and arrange payments and negotiate putting you back in charge of the bills. Same with lab work, I used to have suprise bills that came to me and I'd have to call and argue. Now we just order the labs, prepay if we have to, and never get a bill it's really amazing! Highly highly recommended!!

We've been with Knew Health for about 2 months and so far it has been a great experience. Being able to choose our doctors is key and submitting paperwork for a reimbursement is quick and easy.

I am fairly new to Health Sharing, and so far am extremely happy with Knew Health. My first "need" submission was handled and accepted within 24 hours of submitting.
All of my interactions with Knew Health staff have been great - they are very friendly, professional and helpful.
Highly recommend as an alternative to skyrocketing insurance costs.

We had a previous health share for insurance and then switched to Knew and they are far and away better! Not only are they lightning fast in replying to everything I submit, but they are also very helpful in customer service. We are also saving hundreds per month for our family of seven and getting better coverage. 10/10 would recommend Knew!

Their customer service go above and beyond to help. They have lots of extras I didn't expect when we joined. I'm always coming across a free class, reimbursements, discounts etc. They give me a heads up my membership is about to renew which is nice.

Knew is the 3rd and BEST healthshare we have used. I chose them because their preventative care options allow us to actually USE our plan for what we need, and I love that they allow the flexibility for us to use functional medicine and alternative treatments like breast sonography. We had to submit our first need for an illness recently and I was in SHOCK at how quickly they paid our bills. The first one in 3 days and the second one in less than 2 hours. I mean…WOW! Such a relief to have this great company available.

Every single interaction I had with their customer care representatives, and any care request was handled professionally and extremely promptly. I cannot recommend this insurance enough and would keep it if my new employment did not offer a cheaper option. I’m still keeping my options open to come back to this if the monopolized insurance company that my new employment uses gives us the runaround (as per usual with the bigger corrupt companies). I highly recommend this healthcare company for any self-employed individual that wants a hasslefree English speaking company that actually has the consumers best interest in mind— rather than making a buck. Would give more stars if possible.

I am so happy i found this medical health share option. I absolutely love it! I hate regular health insurance. It is such a scam and a rip off IMO. I love Knew Health and have used them several times for large medical expenses and they have always come through. All bills were paid, after my initial IUA was paid. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for anyone wanting to get away from "conventional" health insurance. Health Share plans are the way to go. And i liked that you did not have to be involved in a religious organization to be part of this. Other health share plans require that.
