I'm new to Knew Health and was worried about the process of getting reimbursed for my eligible medical expenses. The people I've dealt with have all been very patient and accommodating and I feel like they're on my side when it comes to getting my benefits paid out.
I love that I get to choose my doctor. The private practice doctors that live outside the insurance arena are so much more attentive, I had mine call me and spend an hour on the phone with me at no charge after our initial visit. This is what health care is supposed to be. All without the outrageous costs.

I have had good experience overall for the few times I've interacted with reimbursements, but the company is SHOCKINGLY behind in having no portal for us as members giving a detail of what benefits we have used, their timing, and what benefits remain for us in a year, and when they expire. There is NO record of what payments we've made or upcoming payment dates, very disappointing. You have to call and talk to someone or email to get that information. The Health resources offered are minimal for anyone looking for natural health resources. There are only 2 health coaches and you only get 1 or 2 sessions with them. There are finally some webinars available on the portal but there is a world of extra natural health things they could be offering more than they do.

If I could have given Knew Health more than 5 stars I would have done it in a heart beat! I joined Knew Health relatively healthy and honestly not expecting to have to submit many need requests. But as happens in life at times there were some unexpected needs this past year that required me to submit requests more than I ever would have expected. I can say that Knew Health was there at every single turn with immediate help, support, and encouragement. I am so very grateful to Knew Health and their entire team!

I'm brand new to Knew Health, and haven't received compensation for any health needs, so I cannot speak to that yet. However, I feel really good about my decision to leave the insurance model in the dust and participate in this form of community care. The cost is reasonable and I love the model. The Knew Health representatives have been very helpful.

Imagine your health insurance provider reaching out proactively to say they offer a new reimbursement benefit at no cost to you for colonoscopy screenings.
Imagine that same health insurancy company providing simple and easy terms to be reimbursed.
Imagine submitting the invoices and getting a courteous and prompt acknowledgement of receipt.
Imagine following up with the health insurance company with a question and getting a prompt and courteous answer the same day.
Imagine the reimbursement checks being cut promptly and mailed to you.
It's hard to imagine because that's not how health insurance companies work.
You can't get answers. Everything is confusing. You end up owing instead of receiving the benefit.
But at Knew Health, I just had the exact opposite experience. It was wonderful!

We are new to Knewhealth and have not used it yet, but the enrollment experience has been great. We had a one on one meeting and had all of our questions answered. When you call in you actually get to speak with a person. So far so good. Our ACA premiums were going to go from $680 per month to $2,200 per month for the lowest tier health insurance. We were at a crossroads as to whether go without or come out of retirement and find a job with health insurance. We are very hopeful that Knewhealth will be our lifesaver.

It was easy to make an appointment for a zoom call to speak with a real human in an unscripted two way conversation to clarify some “how-tos”.

Knew Health has been such a breath of fresh air compared to having traditional health insurance. I love that when I call, I speak to a real person (whom have all been so genuinely kind and helpful). I’ve been using Knew Health for my maternity needs the last few months and they have been nothing short of wonderful. When I call, I speak to the same two maternity specialists, John and Sandra, which is really nice. It feel like I’m getting specialized care, which isn’t something you normally get with traditional insurance companies. I’ve felt like I’ve actually been dealing with people who really care throughout my whole pregnancy which has made the journey just that much easier. I can’t sing Knew Health’s praises enough! Thank you!!

No one has responded to my emails and the intake person never got back to me with the answers to my questions. It has been over a month.
Update: After posting this review I was contacted by Knew Health and they were able to answer my questions. I did not receive the email with their responses.

After having a surprise bypass surgery, the KnewHealth staff was supportive and gracious through the entire process. Payment was made promptly and it was an incredible relief to know they had us covered through this challenging experience. I love the fact that when calling KnewHealth you get someone on the line who is familiar with you and your situation. It feels very communal, like you're not just a number, but someone who is genuinely cared for.

My daughter ended up needing hernia surgery and this was my first experience with a medical share group. I was very nervous and worried they wouldn't cover anything. They were so helpful the whole way through: answering all my questions, letting me know what info they needed and answering in a timely manner. It may have been more work on my end vs regular insurance but it went smoothly and I would suggest Knewhealth.

Before I was drowning in debt with premiums & co-pays & surprise bills in the mail because Insurance didn't cover. Just unaffordable Insurance. Then I found Knew Health. What a relief. Affordable alternative to Healthcare. Customer support is top notch that will answer questions & concerns in a timely manner. I was amazed at the different self wellness programs that Knew Health offers without having a co-pay. My wife is going Into labor any day now & Knew Health has made the whole process a breeze. I was blown away by how seamless my experience with Knew Health was. On November 13, I received a bill for $1,850 from the anesthesia department for my surgery on October 21. I submitted it to Knew Health the very next day, and by November 15, I already had confirmation that the bill had been paid—and even better, Knew Health negotiated it down by 20% simply because they acted so quickly.
The process was incredibly fast, easy, and completely transparent. I felt fully supported every step of the way. Five out of five stars—highly recommend!
