You are absolutely right that our installation instructions did not provide sufficient information regarding remote programming. Remote setup can be somewhat complex, so in most cases we pre-program the remote controls before shipment to make installation easier for our customers. After reviewing your order, we noticed that the group-control function was not configured before shipment. That was our oversight, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
We would also like to clarify one point regarding the remote control. The remote included with your order is actually a 6-channel remote, which can control multiple shades from a single device. Each of the six channels can be assigned to control an individual shade independently, while additional group-control configurations can also be programmed as needed.
Based on valuable feedback from customers like you, we have recently redesigned our installation documentation. We now provide both printed and PDF versions of our instructions. Going forward, customers will receive PDF manuals by email before delivery, including a dedicated remote programming guide, and a printed instruction booklet will be included in every package.
