The worst customer service experience for any online store anywhere in the world. Snobbish and unwilling to be flexible. Don't waste your hard earned cash on this business. There is a high chance that you will regret it. There are better companies with more customer friendly policies to spend your money on.

Truly the worst customer service…

Truly the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had, for a multitude of reasons:
- Ordered a bag for my best friend’s wedding a week and a half prior to the day of the event, on the sole basis that the Lamarque website advertised their shipping method as ‘FedEX international priority’ at checkout (which typically takes 1-3 business days for overseas delivery). However, when I got my shipping info, I saw that they had actually shipped it as ‘international economy’ - these are two different shipping options with vastly different delivery timeframes.
- When I realised they’d shipped the order with economy, I quickly contacted them to clarify the shipping method used, and ask that they please re-ship my order with the international priority method. I told them I was happy to pay any additional cost associated with priority shipping of another bag. 
- They were extremely dismissive in their reply to the above, firstly stating that they had shipped my order with ‘the only shipping service offered by FedEX’ for my postal address. When I pointed out that the FedEx website confirms all three shipping options are available for my location and again asked if they could kindly please re-ship my order with the right shipping method, they completely ignored this.
- I followed up again asking for a response, and that they please urgently ship another bag as international priority express with the 1-3 day shipping timeframe, including a return satchel or shipping label, for me to send back the delayed order once it arrives. Their response was dismissive, condescending and rude, stating that the ‘shipping details were clearly outlined during the checkout process prior to completing your order’ and that the international priority option I was after would ‘cost as much as an airline ticket’. This really isn’t a way I would expect to be engaged with as a buyer seeking some sort of resolution to a problem. It is also easily disproved by checking the FedEx website, via which you can easily calculate shipping fees.
- As they refused to acknowledge the misrepresentation in shipping method, the only option available was a refund. When I asked for them to please send me a return label for said refund, they said I would have to pay for the international return shipping of my order once it arrived. The bag arrived 5 WEEKS later.
- Upon trying to lodge the return via their portal, they also sought to charge me a $60 USD fee, on top of my paying for the return shipping. Their website states that this is a flat rate ‘return shipping fee’.
- When I asked that this ‘return shipping fee’ fee please be waived given they were already making me pay for my own return shipping, they also ignored this request.
- Sent three follow up emails about this over the course of a week, each asking them to please escalate my conversation to head office - each email went ignored.
- When they did eventually respond, they said they had already answered my question by providing return instructions… I didn’t ask for return instructions and am aware of how to lodge a return. They never addressed why I would be charged the $60 fee on top of paying for my return shipping.

Not one ounce of acknowledgement, let alone ownership taken over anything that transpired throughout the whole experience. The shipping was advertised as FedEx priority, the company shipped it as economy - they are two completely different shipping options. I’m still unsure how this is considered as having ‘clearly outlined’ the shipping details. I’ve actually never asked to speak to a manager or escalate something to head office in my life prior to this, but I don’t imagine it’s very common that companies’ customer service teams refuse to pass on an issue?
Really disappointing, awful experience.

This is the worst customer service…

This is the worst customer service experience I have ever worked with. I returned some items from my purchase with no warnings when I purchased that I would be responsible for exorbitant tariffs.......more than the actual item I kept. When I reached out to customer service they sent me a politically insensitive reply regarding the US president and his policies. They refuse to call me and now have stopped replying to emails. No transparency or responsibility . Do not shop on their website...there are other options that respect and value their customers.

Not honest customer service

The skirt arrived with a bump (ball )of glue inside of it ,and chipped leather ,customer service was denying all issues with skirt,claiming it is perfect and didn’t wanted refund money until I said I am gonna contact my bank to dispute transaction ,when they refunded it was on 30$ less and also they made me pay shipping back to them from my own pocket 12$ plus 30 $they didn’t refund ,plus I had pay 32$ customs for defective product,it all add up to 74$ out of my pocket for defective product,customer service rejects to help and again don’t answer for my emails

I had a terrible experience with them…

I had a terrible experience with them recently, where they sent me the wrong product. Because it wasn't within their 21 day timeline (I didn't open the box b/c the leather skirt was for a trip and I didn't expect that they would be incompetent in providing the correct item), they wouldn't return it even though it was clearly their error.

I wanted a jacket that was sold out

I wanted a jacket that was sold out. Upon reaching out to customer service they informed me it would be restocked and they would send me an email when it was available. They did the following day! I promptly ordered the jacket. It was too small, i sent the jacket back and exchanged for a new size. I am now waiting for the exchange. However, through it all customer service could not have been nicer and more helpful. They answered my emails in minutes. I look forward to receiving my jacket! Thank you for the excellent communication and help.

Scam-like behavior and awful quality – stay away!

Lamaraque has been one of the worst online shopping experiences I’ve ever had. The item we ordered was insanely overpriced for what turned out to be cheap, poorly made clothing. The fabric felt flimsy, and it started tearing as we tried it on – clearly low-grade manufacturing.

We followed all the return instructions, but now they claim they never received the package – even though we have tracking proof it’s sitting at their pickup point. Instead of helping, their customer service gives vague, dismissive answers and takes no accountability at all.

After reading similar complaints on Trustpilot, it’s clear this isn’t a one-off. We feel deceived and are preparing to take further steps.
This company doesn’t even deserve one star. Avoid at all costs.

poor quality, bad service, no refund -Not even worth one star

Absolutely awful experience. The clothes are extremely overpriced for what you get – cheap, low-quality material straight from China that started falling apart the moment we tried it on. We returned the item immediately, but Lamaraque claims they never received it, even though the tracking clearly shows it’s been sitting at their pickup point for days.

Customer service has been rude, slow, and completely unhelpful. No responsibility taken whatsoever. After checking Trustpilot, we saw we’re far from the only ones – this seems to happen regularly. It honestly feels like a scam.

We will be taking further action if this is not resolved.
This company is a joke – not even worth one star. I truly hope they go out of business soon.

De ergste site ooit

De ergste site ooit! Ze hadden mij een kapot broekje opgestuurd, deze mocht ik niet terug sturen (€450). De andere producten die ik had ontvangen wilde ik retourneren en dit heb ik netjes gedaan. Nu hebben ze het pakket geweigerd en krijg ik mijn €1.500 niet terug. Ze mailen ook heel onprofessioneel. Koop hier nooit iets!!

NO RESPECT FOR CUSTOMERS / TREATED HORRIBLY

Ordered the "Darelle Maxi Coat" and was sent a different coat. Reached out to Lamarque immediately and was ignored for well over a week. I had to reach out to a Lamaruque number that wasn't customer service to finally get someone to respond and act as if they knew nothing of the situation. Then they wouldn't respond, and I had to call the number again for them to tell customer service to attend to the issue they caused. No apology or responsibility taken. Having to send constant emails and calls after it's been delivered for them to tell me I have to wait at least 14 business days after they sent me the wrong coat. This company is a disgrace, and I will never purchase this brand again from any store. PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. THEY ARE AN ABSOLUTE MESS AND DO NOT CARE TO FIX THEIR ERRORS. THEY HAVE NO RESPECT FOR THEIR PAYING CUSTOMERS AND WASTE YOUR PRECIOUS TIME AND ENERGY.

BEWARE of their deceptive shipping…

BEWARE of their deceptive shipping policies. When you check out the shipping method says "free fedex shipping" . Unless you search for their shipping policy you will not know that they require a direct signature on delivery which cannot be bypassed by signing the FedEx delivery slip. When your undelivered package is returned to them they will charge you a shipping fee and a return fee PER ITEM before giving you a refund. Customer service will not give you the option of resending to another address or a FedEx office. They will take much of your refund with fees and then be able to sell the unopened returned items at full price to another customer. I have never encountered another retailer with this policy. Very, very upset that I am left with nothing to show for the money they took.

Just bad

No return labels until you email for them; $15 restocking fee, per item; customer service agents ask if you want to exchange for another item when you say you want a return, which just delays the process. Overpriced and not worth it.

I cannot say enough good things about LaMarque's wonderful offerings and superior customer service. LaMarque wants you to be happy with your purchase; if you aren't, LaMarque will fix it.

Non-existent customer service - left on read

This has to be the WORST company for customer service. After multiple attempts to contact their service dept (via the contact form and social media) to inquire about a piece in their collection, I gave up and bought one of their current dresses that was 75% off from a third-party vendor (Anthropologie). If you are ordering online and expect any decent amount of detail in a product description OR just want to confirm something about the item before purchasing (their return policy is WHACK - check it for yourself), don't bother giving them your money. You are better off buying something on consignment or from a third-party vendor because at least you will get answers. It's a real shame, considering this is a Canadian company. I wanted to support local but also SUPER on-brand for it being a QC-based company where customer service is generally horrible (and the fashion industry is run by frauds).

Best quality and supreme customer service

LAMARQUE’s jackets are top quality! I have 2 Ciara jackets and my third on the way. They’re lightweight and comfortable. I absolutely love them! When I decided to get my third Ciara, I asked for custom and they agreed! They have a customer for life. I’ll continue adding to my rainbow of leather jackets with this brand.
