Inconsistent sizing on the same products. Company has no customer service to speak of. Would not purchase from again. Price point very high for zero quality control and no customer service. Many better brands out there with wonderful customer service.
Harper Fitted Leather Biker Jacket
I ordered the harper fitted leather biker jacket in a few sizes and colors. The small size in Luggage was perfect. The leather is soft and buttery, and the cut is very nice - a fitted look, as advertised. Luggage is a nice rich, warm hue. For the jackets that didn't suit me, I reached out to customer service to request return authorization. They responded promptly and were pleasant. The return timeline is tight, but as long as you're aware of that and get things moving, it doesn't seem to be an issue.

Lamarque has very unique clothes! I ordered a dress and a leather jacket the dress didn't work but the leather jacket is super soft and feels like butter! Also, customer service is super helpful and answered my questions immediately! My new go to shop!

Sent the measurements and the bustier I bought with their advice didn't even remotely fit (neither will the max size they allow for), then claiming had to pay the equivalent to £80 to return it.
The cheek of it so won't be ordering anything again thats for certain, complete waste of time and money.
I wouldn't go near these crooks, oh well valuable lesson learnt.
PS Having a genuine tendency to think these are purposefully incompetent just to scam you, dont go near them is all I say (if ordering from abroad and I had to pay import duties and etc)!
As I said lesson learnt, never go near them.
On the basis of them I think evidently not taking measurements into account, have the right of mind to even go to my bank and ask for a refund, regardless of sending it back due to their utter hopelessness.

On 11/26/2023 I ordered two leather jackets. I needed to try on both to see which style I liked better and return the other. I was fully aware that there would be a $15 re-stocking fee and was okay with that. The order was delivered on 11/29/2023.
I reached out to company on 12/8 asking how I go about making the return, they asked if I needed another size or style (I already purchased another style) so I responded "No, thank you, the other one that that ordered was a better fit/style." I did not receive any response from them and had to ask again on 12/10. I did then receive a response, including "Items to be returned or exchanged must be clean, unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and undamaged with the all original tags attached and properly folded or they will not be accepted."
On 12/28 I received a refund that was $100 less than what should have been returned (after $15 restocking was applied) I emailed to ask why this was an I was told:
"We just opened your package, The jacket is full of deodorant marks and cannot be sold like this.
As stated in our email and on the website: Items to be returned or exchanged must be clean, unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and undamaged with the all original tags attached and properly folded or they will not be accepted. A cleaning fee of 100$ will be deducted from the return."
However, I know this to be untrue, as I had a sweater on when I attempted to try on but was unable to because it was too small. This company has 0 customer service, and looks for any reason to not refund money. Frankly the quality was extremely poor, however, was less expensive than other leather jackets (which in my case I was fine with because I wanted a long causal trench to wear with sweats, to run errands) In any other circumstance I would not buy such poor-quality clothing, and I would not recommend to anyone, especially because of the lack of customer service.
You can see from the below response to another complaint that was made by a different customer that the quality of their employees is just like their product, POOR.

I rarely write these. This company was terrible to deal with you. They only offer a 2 week exchange policy (how are supposed to get someone a Christmas present with a 2 week exchange policy!!!!!). I bough my wife a jacket on dec 1. On Dec 26, I emailed them to let them know she needed a different size. They simply said “no we don’t take exchanges after 2 weeks.” I then asked this is far shorter than any company I have dealt with in the past. Why would someone buy directly from this company versus through a department store that actually will treat you right? I asked this same question and they replied that next time I should read their website terms more carefully. Felt like I was interacting with an adversary than someone trying to help me fix a problem. Stay away from this company.

I love the jacket I purchased from them but very icy customer service. One person was very nice…but the next person was not. I had ordered 3 jackets and returned 2 and they at first claimed that my UPS return label was cancelled so I couldn’t return my packages. It had in fact already been received and confirmed in their distribution warehouse. I was blown away by how rude they were and will never purchase from them again.

Just got a response asking for how to return something to which I was sent this:
"As stated on the website, we do not offer international returns/exchanges." States nothing of the sort, when I read the conditions of returning anything bought.
Was after receiving the top which even after consulting with them about sizing still was too small.
Reported their response to not only Shopify but the relevant Better Business Bureau.
Never go near this company is all I'd say!
I'd advise others to report them, as this is just completely unacceptable their conduct!
Having then the utter cheek to charge up to $90 for sending it back to them, when it could be sent for far less than that.
Then claiming the numbers on my virtual card details (not willing to send my actual card details over the Internet) are hashed out, when they unlikely are since have evidence to the contrary.
Not happy at all with these liars.

I thought these would be luxury quality jackets and I am apalled at how bad the quality is. I wish I could attach pictures of how poor the quality was. I ordered 2 of the same jacket but both were horrible! Every seam was frayed and uneven. The leather was dented and discolored. The lines of the collar were uneven. Laughable that they sell them for these prices. I couldn't have been more disappointed. Save yourself the $15 restocking fee and don't buy from them.

I reached out to the company and sent proof of photo. Their response from customer service; “the item was sent in perfect state, and cannot be returned”. I asked for clarity to prove that exact point? No response…
I had to prove how the product arrive to me damaged. After a few emails I gave up, as they don’t respond and they don’t care….
There’s no phone call number to reach the company, owner or manager to discuss the issue.
I will NEVER give this company my business again.
Terrible experience
Terrible experience. Product arrived was drastically mis-sized and of poor quality for the $250 price tag. I returned the product and company is refusing to process a refund, claiming not to have received the product, despite my providing them a tracking number to their facility showing delivery. Will never patronize this company again.

You can't talk to anyone. You can't resolve issues, they are rude and unhelpful. LaMarque did the wrong customs paperwork and I got a bill from Fedex for duties that they were to pay and customer refused to provide any help is resolving it or having someone explain it. I will never buy from them direct again. They SUCK!

BUYER BEWARE! This is genuinely the worst retail experience I have ever seen experienced in my life.
My sister ordered two feather jackets from the website. The sizes were off and didn't fit her. She doesn't speak English and her son was corresponding on her behalf. She wanted to return items for a refund. However, the company has an extremely short return window of 14 days (RED FLAG #1). She asked for a store credit. After receiving store credit and clearly unable to purchase anything because LAMARQUE sizes do not work her, she offered it to me to redeem. The store credit could not be redeemed online and had to be done through customer service ONLY (RED FLAG #2). When we contacted the company with items we wanted to order, they refused to process the order stating that the shipping address has to match the credit card billing address. When I informed them that both addresses are registered with credit card, customer service suddenly said the credit was non-transferable although they have not initially informed my sister of this fact (RED FLAG #3). We have asked for a customer service manager to get back and haven't heard yet. So far my sister has lost over $100 on return shipping fees. The company now is forcing her to forfeit the rest by limiting her how she chooses to redeem the store credit and what payment method can be used.
Save your money and DO NOT shop with this company. They will give you a very hard time with returns and make it impossible for you to redeem store credit.

Terrible experience. I bought the Dylan Jacket from Lamarque and the leather leaked, staining two white shirts in a row that were worn under (the black dye rubbed off). The company, after several emails and weeks went by, responded that I could send it in to be assessed and that I would have to cover the shipping. I sent the jacket in and received it back at my house two days after it was delivered to them without any communication. It seemed very quick so I emailed to ask them what happened when they tested it and they said they changed the lining. Now, when I wear light colours under the jacket, it leaks a reddish/pink colour all over my shirts that won't come out. They are ignoring my emails once again. Appalling customer service. Would recommend saving your $700 for a brand that stands by their products and values their customers.
