We ordered and waited and waited. Eventually it arrived, well packed and on the time given by DPD. In between we had no contact details or delivery time from Lamona Spares. Good result Better conta... Voir plus
Couldn't locate the parts I needed on line so emailed and received very helpful return email advising of part I needed. I ordered and part arrived within 10 days. I was not home when courier deliver... Voir plus

The part I needed wasn’t on the dropdown menu but customer services replied to my email telling me the part number I needed. Had to wait a couple of weeks but the correct part came. Good service.

When reporting fault, which was my oven light needed replacing, I asked if this was covered by warranty. Engineer, who was great, came and removed bulb which had blown. He didn't have a bulb to replace this one, but said he would contact me later in the day. He did, he emailed me to say unfortunately bulb not covered or available to order under warranty. So cannot give review for spare, but was pleased with the engineer and his help

After reporting an issue with our oven (which we’d had for just under a year) an Engineer visited on May 20th and carried out some tests. He said he hadn’t seen this issue before but would ask colleagues and pass his findings onto Howdens. After 2 weeks we had heard nothing back so I rang the service line to check what was happening. After providing all the details, I was passed to another department so had to give the info twice. All they could tell me was that it was “in progress” but the engineer had provided no updates. I asked whether they could find out more but they just tried to sell me extra cover so “I wouldn’t have to go through this again”. I said the oven was less than a year old when the issue was reported and still under guarantee, so shouldn’t have to pay more to get it fixed. They hung up on me, leaving me frustrated and none the wiser. (My wife said they also tried to sell her additional cover when she first reported the issue and hung up on her too.)
Not impressed!
Updated 12/6/2026 - in view of the above, I contacted my local Howdens depot and they arranged for a local firm to repair the oven the very next day!

Ordered a new door seal for my larder fridge on the 29th May, paid for the part and DPD delivery, still not received the part.
Received notification from DPD that they know about my delivery but are yet to receive the parcel from Lamona spares, and that's where the story ends!
Contacted Lamona on their online portal- no reply

Problem sorted but in doing so the engineer scratched the inside of the digital display. Was reassured damage team would be in contact within 48hrs. They haven't.

Arranged appointment for engineer a few days later had a call to arrange appointment, the call out was already booked. On the day time slot received, engineer did not arrive. Went on the online chat which advised me of an all day time slot allocated. Approx an hour after the time slot had run out. Received a call to arrange an appointment. No apology/acknowledgment of the engineer due to come to me today, when questioned I was advised engineer was ill. Arranged a new appointment. On the day of the second appointment engineer arrived to be told he didn’t have the correct parts to complete the repair and the issue was common with the product. Another date arranged for engineer to attend, parts ordered at this time, engineer advised he wasn’t even working the day of the previous appointment and that he wasn’t ill he was off and received the call information
after. On the day of the next appointment engineer called to advised the parts received had been used and he had reordered the parts again. A few days later office called to arrange another appointment. On this day a time slot given a different engineer arrived who said the parts he was fitting are brand new and he completed the job. He was aware of the previous episodes and offered an apology. He completed the job efficiently and left with the repair finally completed.

Relatively easy to find part and delivered 2 days later. Stupidly I paid gor next day delivery not realising the cit off point for receiving it the next say is 2pm - but happy to take your money after that

Found the service provided from start to finish excellent. Kept informed on who was coming & when. They turned up on time, & resolved the problem.

Great item, very well packaged, superfast delivery. The only problem was here were no instruction on how to remove the old cover from the draw and install the new one - some videos would be really helpful. I drove to my local Howdens but the staff didn't have any clue either. Fortunately one of the local kitchen fitters was in the showroom and was able to do it for me. Once installed it was perfect.

These were not available in stores and it was very difficult to find the correct ones online. I was only able to do this as I found the original paperwork from 11years ago with their serial number. They did not arrive quickly.

I will NEVER purchase a Lamona appliance again.
I am absolutely furious that I have spent thousands on a brand new kitchen and the light inside the brand new cooker does not work. When I called to get this sorted I was told it won’t be covered under manufacturer and there will be a call out charge and cost to replace!!! All they did was try and sell me insurance!! They also needed the Howdens invoice which I do not have as I was told by Howdens that due to data protection this goes to the builder. They did have all my details though and I confirmed everything. It’s absolutely terrible that when you purchase something brand new and it is defective, even if it is just the light (which helps my elderly mother) that you have to pay to get it repaired/replaced. It’s only been installed like 2 months. Disgusting!!
