Beware!!!!!!!

Wildwood, FL location

Beware!!!!!!!. Silver Service $1100 gets you nothing but a visual observation of your trailer, outside shower door needs replacing, windows need sealant, cabinet is blocking window on inside (pretty useful advice for $1100). You won't even get the cleaning or maintenance service without paying for diagnostics which is $199 for each item. They did nothing for my A/C, Hot Water Heater, Furnace and Refrigerator. They didn't flush out and deodorize the holding tank, they did not adjust the tire pressures. Basically, all they did was grease the jacks. And they made an unauthorized minor repair by connecting two wires for the bathroom fan and charged me $250 on top of the $1100 for the "Silver Service"

If you don't think I'm being honest

If you don't think I'm being honest. You've never bought an RV from lazy days of any state. They're all the same. They all screwed me over after I paid a $180000 for Mercedes tranquility. They never answered my call. The second I signed the paperwork, so anybody who gives lazy days anything more than a 0 has never dealt with them long enough. And I guarantee you 1 year from now. Those same people will be going. Oh my God, that guy was right.

I'll never trust this company

On April 23, 2025 we contacted Lazy Days because our AC stopped working. On April 24th we brought the Coachman to your location for service. We were there for about 2 hours. Your Tech replaced the capacitor with a used one out of another unit and said it works now that was the problem and we paid $440.59 (for a used part and time?) and were on our way. When we stopped that afternoon in Georgia we turned the AC on and the exact same result. It ran for about 20 minutes and was done.
I called your office. Spoke with someone who left messages for you and someone who said his name was Adam the Service Manager.
Adam told me to take the camper to someone when we get home and if LazyDays missed something he would refund our $440.59. Everyone I went to here in Myrtle Beach said they do not work on AC units, they just replace them. It's taken a few weeks but I found someone with experience who would diagnose the issue rather than just put in a new unit. He went through the complete electrical system and found an issue with the connection and repaired that but after about 20 minutes the AC stopped working. I believe he said that a faulty thermostat caused the compressor to burn up thus requiring a replacement unit. He said a good tech should have caught this with the first diagnosis. He called it a very basic problem.
After repeated attempts to reach anyone at corporate to answer my questions I was given the email for The Compliance Office. The BBB has a name and number to contact but someone at the Tampa location told me she had retired so she emailed The Compliance Office for me. Outside emails do not go through as I also found out even though I have a business card with an email on it.
Shayna Verdugo responded the following.
Thank you for your detailed email and for sharing your experience. I want to take a moment to address your concerns and clarify our position.
Based on our review, the capacitor replacement was made at your request following the information you provided from your own research. Our technician did not diagnose a faulty capacitor but replaced it as a customer-supplied recommendation. The capacitor tested within normal parameters, and our technician communicated that to you at the time of service.
Because the repair was not based on a technician-verified diagnosis and was performed at your direction, Lazydays is unable to take responsibility for the outcome or offer reimbursement. We understand your frustration, especially given the further issues that arose, but it’s important to note that bypassing a full diagnostic process limits our ability to accurately identify the root cause and prevents us from standing behind repairs that may not have been necessary.
We appreciate your feedback and will share your comments internally to continue improving our service process. If you have any further questions, I’d be happy to speak with you directly.

The repair they charged me for were based on the research of a hot customer with no AC for 2 days and nothing to do but Google possible solutions. I have no experience in AC repair and no idea how to fix the problem or I would have done it myself. The Tech took our conversation as the basis for his repair rather than running his own diagnostic assessment?

Takes advantage of Elderly

Should be 0,stars! Do Not consign RV here. Found RV by owner on FB and arranged to buy a week ago. Lazy D would not let them out their contract even though they tried to cancel and pay the fee. They lied and said they already had a down payment last week same day as they tried to cancel it. They’re taking advantage of elderly folks trying to sell their rv and downsize. If you’re the one with a “down payment” on the 2011 Fleetwood Providence, they are ripping off the owners giving them 68k. What goes around comes around Eric!

0stars!!!

0stars!!!! I do not recommend purchasing anything from this location. We purchased a brand new trailer (final cost over $100k). After a few days we say it was completely rusted and corroded on the bottom. Many other items are not working and have stopped working. This is our first purchase and did not know to look for those things. The manufacturer Catalina said they do not cover rust and corrosion as that is normal wear even though we found it within a few days of pick up. Our sales agent Adam said if the manufacturer does not cover repairs Lazy Days will be responsible and repair it at no cost to us. I just spoke to sales manager and he told me Adam is incorrect, they are not responsible, and I would have to be responsible for the repair cost.

customer service sucks

i bought a 41 foot montana legacy from lazy days. the sales rep was great and that part of the experience was great. from there it went down hill. i have had multiple warranty issues that lazy days continues to tell me they are waiting on Keystone to authorize. i call Keystone and they advise me that the warranty work had been authorized and i needed to deal with lazy days.
i had to take it to a different dealer than i bought it from that is up near longmont because they were the only ones who could body work. (rv developed crack on exterior wall)
i took the unit to them in February; it is now almost July. talked to a store manger named Max once and he was arrogant uninformed idiot.
bottom line is this is the second time my unit has been in the shop in 2 years. i obviously have lost the use of it for no less than 8 to 10 months and counting. i continue to pay the 1000 a month payment while it continues to depreciate on their lot. they continue to say they are checking on my unit and promise to call back and never do. again can not run it up to the manager as he is an idiot.
i will never use them again; they have ruined their name with me and thinking that my 140k RV from Keystone was one my larger mistakes in life. lesson learned!

They will harass you if they ever get your email

I don’t know how but I’m on the mailing lists. I have canceled multiple times and I called them. The lady said it could take up to 10 weeks. I am getting multiple emails per day. It is harassment to keep this up. If I would have ever considered buying from them I definitely wouldn’t buy anything from them now.

Council Bluffs, Iowa Bad Experiece

In April 2024 I saw an ad in our local newspaper from Lazy-Days RV. The price and monthly payments seemed reasonable ,so my wife and I went there to look.Of course the unit advertised was not there, but they had a similar one.It was higher priced and the monthly payments were quite a bit higher. We decided to go ahead and get the unit anyway. We signed the agreement and a few days later, they called and said it was ready. When we got there for our walkthrough it wasn't even our unit. Our unit had been hit on the lot and would need repair. It was three weeks before we finally got it.The tech that walked us through the unit couldn't answer a lot of our questions as he had only been there a week. Exited to get our first camping experience with our new camper we picked it up,hurried home and packed, and headed for the campground(about 75 moles away) We got checked in and set up the camper. As I put the water in the storage tank, it ran out faster then I could put in in.They forgot to put the drain plugs back in the storage tank and water heater after they winterized it .So no water. When I got back home from the camping trip, I went down and told them about the experience. They didn't seem apologetic about it.In Nonember I took the unit back for some warranty work(small water leak,a strut bracket and awning. After about 3 weeks I finally called them to check on thier progress. The service manager said they were waiting for a part for the awning, but the other 2 items were done. Since it was getting close to winter, and I wanted to winterize it and put the cover on it and I would bring it back in the spring for the awning. When I picked it up none of the warranty work had been done, even the items the service manager told me were done. He out and out lied to me.
I Will never do business with them again and would certainly not recommend them to anybody. They are a disgrace to the RV industry

We purchased a preowned Lance travel . While the sales process went well, following the final walk through we were told that the trailer would be cleaned prior to delivery. The trailer unfortunately arrived very dirty. I spoke with the sales manager Jodi who was not interested in finding a solution. Very disappointed in her response and her demeanor. It is unfortunate to encounter such disinterest in customer service.

Stay far and clear it this place !!!!! They tell you what you want to hear and make promises they don’t keep . They told me they would throw in a dryer to close the deal and yes they absolutely did and then charged me 1500. 00 for it. They are not a trustworthy company. Then I even tried to work with them and tell them I would do a store credit because they have merchandise there . They offered me a 200 dollar voucher . That just added to my frustration . Note to the company be people of your word even if the salesperson screwed it all up that should not fall on the customer . I only want what I was told nothing more nothing less .

Lazy Days - Seffner Florida - GREAT !!

Jim and I went to a Tiffin RV rally in Florida. Met a very nice sales rep – Clay Rush. Had been thinking about upgrading our 26 foot Wayfarer for a Class A. But, after looking at all the BIG Allegros, I was terrified about driving and traveling in such a large RV. Clay immediately understood and suggested that perhaps the Tiffin Breeze (the smallest Class A Tiffin Makes) might be a compromise. To make a long story short, the Tiffin Breeze was just right. Not to big – not to small.
This led to further investigation and the order of one of the new 2025 Breeze’s to be delivered to Lazy Days in Seffner (Tampa) Florida. The coach price and trade in could not have been better We waited to get the call to go down and pick up our new Breeze 33 BR.

An unexpected surprise benefit was that when we bought the Breeze, Lazy Days Tampa has an extra special benefit. We immediately became ‘members’ of the Lazy Days Crown Club. This was NO SMALL BENEFIT !!

We drove down in our Tiffin Wayfarer to be traded in and were delighted to see that they had reserved 2 large, side-by-side parking spots on the very nice Crown Club Campground. The new Breeze was right next to us which made it very easy to transfer all our things into it from the Wayfarer.

Additionally, the Crown Club provides a lovely dining room, lounge and 3 meals a day for as long as you need to be there – at no cost !!! There was also a private pool and several nice lounges in the Crown Club Building where we could relax and watch TV if they needed to take our Breeze to one of their Bays for work.

We ended up staying about 10 days while they added some things (Satellite TV etc) and provided some driving lessons around the campground and sent their Lazy Days Experts to the coach several times a day to “teach” us about all the highly desirable, technical equipment in the new Breeze.

The food in the Crown Club was like a semi-high end restaurant with 2 chefs and a wonderful server named Mary who made each day and meal an event!!! AND we so enjoyed the 4-5 other guest of the Crown Club that we dined with 3 meals a day, every day !!

Suffice to say that EVERRYONE at this Lazy Days facility provided the BEST of service, outstanding education of the components on our new Breeze and did so with great friendliness!!

Many thanks to Clay Rush, sales expert who turned us on to the Breeze Class A option, Dana Smith, our Crown Club Delivery Advisor, Andy Glogower, who took all our money away, Ha Ha!), Rico “the man” Holton, expert in all things possible to purchase in the large Lazy Days store, Paul Harvey & Jim, “walk thru and question answering” experts, David Bonet and Jon Zent, Dish Satellite experts and Mary, Jennifer, Rebecca, and 2 professional Chef’s who provided hospitality, excellent food and fun conversations at meal times.

We could not have asked for a better deal, beautiful new RV and outstanding service!
But we WILL ask for it again when we return for future service. Our Lazy Days Crown Club membership is good for 3 years with the same benefits !!

Lazy Days - Loveland CO: Never Again

I bought a used Popup camper from Lazy Days. Price was fine. Sales guy was fine. A little eager, but was just a kid. He had no particular knowledge about the unit, but I knew what I was buying so that was fine. Problem was, I was in Kansas City. Camper was in Loveland. Bought it on photos and a description and a FaceTime walk through. When it arrived, it was dirty. It didn’t get detailed. I clean my campers better half drunk after a week vacation at the lake. No power cord. None. Nada. Not a small item. Travel door had no seal. No way for me to see this on the walk through, but there is a one inch clear sky gap from outside the door to inside on the travel/storage door. Spare tire cover blew off in transit. Battery was original to the camper. They say, new battery is part of the $1000+ prep fee. Okay. I assume so is detailing. Anyway, I’ve had the new (one year old used) camper for two weeks and I’m about done doing their job. Power cord (Amazon not factory) arrives tomorrow, so then I’ll test the AC side of the power system. Will update if that’s in the same state as the rest of the unit on delivery. I let them know of the issues and never heard back. Very different from when they “needed my deposit so the unit wasn’t sold to someone else.” Don’t trust them. Buy from an individual. If you buy from these guys, you get none of the benefit of a dealer and all of the premium and premium price.

I'm trying to get two cracks in my roof repaired…

I'm trying to get two cracks repaired on my roof. Tiffin has authorized 10 hours of work to fix the cracks under warranty. Lazy Days in Ramsey said it's not enough time so unless I want to cover an additional 12 hours of work for $2148, they won't fix one of the cracks. I'm not sure why me as a customer has to be in the middle of this battle. I thought as an authorized dealer for Tiffin, Lazy Days had to do the work.

Customer service experience horrible - Lazydays RV Nashville

Hello, I felt it was necessary to reach out and voice my extreme disappointment and frustration with Lazydays RV Nashville's service department.

Early November 2023 I purchased a new 2023 Solitude and took it out for one camping trip. We had some issues but not bad as I understand things happen. So naturally since I'm new to RVing, I took our RV back to where I purchased it to get service done.

Since then, its been a terrible experience and I still don't have my RV back. In my mind these were very very simple fixes that really should have been done in a week if there were competent people involved. One excuse is they had turnover and new leadership. Another is that they made an executive decision when my RV was in the bay for service to remove it so a newly sold RV can be processed for pickup. I did meet with the new Service Manager in person and he told me they were all over this and going to get things done fast. That was a month ago now and I'm still not sure when I'm going to get my RV. Now they are saying its not ready because warranty requests have been issued to Grand Design, but they have not received approval. I don't understand how this could take so long so I reached out to your warranty department and received immediate responses, so now I don't believe anything they say.

Anyway, I just want to stress my concern for Grand Design to allow this location to sell and service your trailers. They are going to give you a bad name. I'm so frustrated by this issue that this is my first time I'm writing a review like this online and I would strongly suggest to anyone, don't use this location for service.

Warning, STAY AWAY..This company is bad

This is the worst place to deal with after you give them your money. They will treat you great until they get your money and then they will ignore you and not help you at all. I purchased a $100K toy hauler in June of 2021 and as of today have only been able to use it for a total of 8 weeks. It has been in their shop for the majority of the time, after i get it back they have not repaired everything and then they dont want to fix the rest. They ignore calls and emails. Terrible to work with...buyer beware!!!!!

Salesperson wasted my time and argued about the specifications. Dealing with a salesperson that doesn't listen or understand what they are selling is overly frustrating. With the internet I don't see how someone thinks they can convince you of something inaccurate. I was told so many great things about Lazydays but it proved to be wrong.

Up date on new awning
Allie texted me 10/10/23 and let me know the new awning was in. We set up a date to come in and have the awning installed. Arrived at Lazy Day RV at 8:45am for my 9:00 appointment on 10/18/23. Allie met me at the door told me where to go. I dropped the trailer while Allie was taking pics of the trailer. They took the trailer to a bay installed the awning and Allie come and got me 11/2 hrs later all done. Allie was one of the nicest person i had to deal with. Very polite customer service was great. Just a great person to work with. There should b more people like Allie out there helping people not like Camping World
