Poor service
Wouldn't recommend this company i am still waiting for my refund after 2 months keep emailing them but get same response about account department being very busy they must have none they were going to be busy when everyone signed up to them for a refund originally i was told it would be in my account with in 14 days that didn't happen then I was told another 21 days and I am still waiting very poor service they will be quick to take there percentage but while all this money is in there account they are making more interest on it

We are very sorry to have received this 1 star review. We appreciate you have called a few times regarding the payment, but as stated by the agents in each call , we have checks and process to follow to ensure we can allocate the payments from the Provident Scheme We received a 'lump sum' from Provident which we needed to allocate and match to over 3000 clients whilst taking all banking details. This process was not the norm hence the extra time it took to make payments out to our clients. I can assure that we do not make money or receive interest on the payment as they sit in our dedicated client account which is non-interest bearing.

Scam???
This 'company' continuously spams my email box DAILY sometimes multiple times a day to sign the document attached but not once have they introduced themselves or explain what the document is about, hence I believe this is a scam!!!

We do NOT do unsolicited texts or emails and would certainly not be sending you documents to sign without your consent and/or you making an online application. Took forever to sort out my repayment staff seemed uninterested when I phoned after over 20 days several phone calls where I was promised it would be fast tracked finally spoke to a supervisor who in fairness was very helpful my payment was made almost instantly

I can only apologise for the inconvenience this has caused you, but this Provident payment was not the norm and that is what caused delays in payment being made.

Hi James - very disappointed in receiving this review. The amount of compensation awarded to you was based on your lender Provident going in to a scheme of arrangement. The Scheme was proposed because Provident could not afford to carry on paying full refunds to customers winning affordability complaints. It started officially on 5 August 2021 after it was approved in court, and Provident were paying back approximately 4.227p in the pound. Legal UK Services ensured that all clients that could qualify for the scheme were informed and we made numerous attempts to urge all our clients to sign up for the scheme to make sure that you could get back whatever amount Provident was going to pay. I totally agree that the amounts awarded by Provident were tiny and seem unfair, but that was not anything to do with Legal UK Services and this review is unfair. We have in fact ensured that over 3000 of our clients have at least got back what they could from Provident and have worked tirelessly to ensure our clients were paid back what they were due.

Satisfactory outcome
I have had a very satisfactory experience with legal UK Ltd in that they negotiated a settlement on two outstanding loans that I had as part of a debt management plan which meant that I had become totally debt free over a year earlier than was originally planned and that was including their fees for doing so. I would highly recommend them to others.

If I could have given less than 1 star I would have . If you are having any thoughts about instructing this company to act on your behalf … don’t. If they ‘pester’ you ( like they did me ) block ! Since your reply to my review I have tried making contact with you both by telephone ( I’m still waiting for someone to phone me back and numerous-mails . I’ve quoted every reference I have and as yet have heard nothing . Initially I made contact via and ‘add’ I’d seen on social media . Response was almost instant asking for full details ect . Other than your note now I’ve heard nothing. My ref is : LUS02/7015355/12/00

i contactefd legal service to recover irrasponceable lending tbh staff were polite i had trouble getting my monej itnwas excuse after excuse ppl on holiday we have not received the money butni rang morses themselves and they told methey had sent it i had to keep ringing as legal services do not respond to emails in the end i had to email the top dog and within tje hour my money was innthe bank but i like to thank courtney and freya
