Ryan and the team have been fantastic from start to finish. The whole process was smooth, well-organised, and far less stressful than I expected.

Extremely disappointing and frustrating experience with LettingaProperty.com.
I signed up after being told my property was worth around £2,100 based on comparable local properties, which gave me confidence that I was working with professionals who understood the market and would actively protect my interests as a landlord.
Instead, after taking £238 upfront, the experience quickly became a cycle of wasted time, poor communication, inconsistent advice, and disappointing service.
My property was initially marketed lower than the valuation discussed, then I was later pushed to reduce the rent even further — below what I had originally been led to expect — rather than seeing strong negotiation efforts to secure the best outcome. When an offer of £1,850 came in on a property marketed at £2,000, there appeared to be little meaningful negotiation on my behalf despite this being one of the main reasons landlords use an agent in the first place.
Over approximately four months, they failed to secure me a tenant while I lost valuable rental income. Throughout the process, I repeatedly had to chase updates, follow up myself, and invest far more personal time and energy than should ever be necessary after paying for a professional managed service.
What has made this even worse is the dismissive and lazy attitude I experienced, particularly from Kelsey Hall and Demi. Rather than taking accountability for the lack of results and poor service, I have been left feeling ignored, frustrated, and financially worse off after months of lost rental income.
To make matters worse, when concerns were raised early and I requested a refund, I was persuaded to continue on the basis that things would improve. They did not.
The viewing process itself also felt unprofessional at times, including basic carelessness from their clerk while handling my property.
What is most disappointing is that despite months of underperformance, wasted time, financial loss, and clear dissatisfaction, they are now hiding behind technicalities such as “advertising was delivered” rather than taking accountability for the actual quality and effectiveness of the service.
In my opinion, simply listing a property online is not enough to justify charging landlords upfront if the wider service lacks strong communication, proper negotiation, professionalism, and meaningful results.
I am extremely disappointed by the dismissive handling of my concerns and will now be escalating this matter to The Property Ombudsman.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise landlords to think very carefully before paying upfront for this service.

Do Not Touch with a Bargepole!
If I could give negative stars I would do so. This company appears to be completely incompetent and unprofessional. They seemed normal at the first consultation. They took the initial money. I wanted to get the property cleaned prior to the next tenant, as I do not live locally, requested them to arrange. Months went by, no response on phone calls or e-mail. When I finally complained, the person had the nerve to tell me that they had not replied as there was no new information to give me! To me this was completely unprofessional! Their complaints department excuse was that it was all down to 'human error' which tells you all you need to know about their standards. I then demanded my money back, after having lost months of rent due to their incompetence. They then had the nerve to tell me that they would refund the money as a 'gesture of goodwill!' They have no insight into their own incompetence, and do not seem willing to raise their standards out of the gutter!

Natalie Deakin was polite courteous and helped me do exactly what I needed. She was brilliant. I had been in contact with others who didn’t help at all when I was trying to pay for works completed. I am glad she helped me today. Thank you.

The monthly fees started of fairly reasonable but were increased by stealth. They also introduced an exit fee in a sneaky way. I tried to check all communication from them before agreeing to anything but they bury the information about the increase in fees by putting them on different web pages several clicks away. when I tried to question why they didn't make the information available without having to click through and read several web pages, they said it was legal to do that.

All aspects were covered but although I thought I’d given adequate notice to set up my new tenant, it all seemed a rush at the last minute. Appointments for checks did not necessarily fit with my schedule, one being booked after the move in date. The staff were easy to contact and were friendly, efficient and helpful when needed.

I am so happy with Lettingaproperty. com and people working there. First about the company : very easy to deal with, extremely competitive prices in comparison to local agents, all elements and services you can get from local agents are there so you have the best of both worlds - you have full transparency online and full control and you have always people who answer your calls and you have local people working for lettingaproperty who can visit your property , make inventory , EPC and everything which is necessary. You can pick the services online and its very well organised. You download your photos, you can replace them, write there a new story and add for your property, be creative. My story was amazing. True - I could not find a tenant for 3 months as all people who expressed interest didnt suit me or the property was not what they wanted. BUT once there was a proper tenant - they needed to move in 5 working days and Letting property. com, namely CASEY AND JAMES MANAGED TO DO ALL IN 5 DAYS - checking the tenants, inventory, certificates, payments of deposit and rent - so in week i had very happy tenants already living in their new home. I would recommend Lettingaproperty to you, guys and will transfer to them my other properties as soon as I can. I dont see any additional value in my local agents and paying more for worse service. We were still owed a large amount of money, but I’m pleased to say that Lettingaproperty never gave up (even when we had) and I’m delighted that three years later they have finally recovered the money owed.
