It is utterly predatory that they misled me by claiming I was prequalified and even provided a specific amount. As I was reviewing the agreement, I sought clarification on a particular section and refrained from clicking submit or providing the final signature. Despite this, while I was still in communication with the representative, they deceitfully emailed me to inform me that my application was denied. This is incomprehensible and unjustifiable, as I never submitted the application or provided the second signature they required. Their actions were abhorrent, For getting my hopes up only to dismiss me.

To clarify, while you received a pre‑approved offer, all of our marketing and application materials include a disclaimer explaining that pre‑approval is not a guarantee of funding. As part of our standard process, our underwriting team completes the necessary checks on the application, and these can take place before an agreement is signed.
After completing this assessment, we were unable to move forward with the application at this time. The decline email you received outlined the outcome of the review and included guidance on next steps, including when you may be eligible to reapply.
We appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns.
