I have purchased the gold standard policy.
Personally I dont think its wise to skimp on insurance. Plus I am able to pay monthly which is really helpful as it help me to budget my money better

Applying for house insurance was straight forward
Very straight forward proving house and contents details, very clear what the three levels of insurance are, reasonable price. A brief telephonecall to clarify whether a small flat roof on an extension was covered was answered quickly and professionally by the member of staff.
