Lupe Technology Avis 601

Ordering was easy. My Lupe was packaged with no excess or wasted space. The vacuum was well protected. I have been using my Lupe for a while and I love it. It does a great job on the low setting. Great battery life and so easy to use

The lupe arrived quickly and works very well

1. Falls over 2. Marks the floor 3. Battery life is terrible 4. Carpet roller stopped working 5. Won't pick up small sand like pebbles 6.the attachments won't stay on holder7. It does pick up micro dust. 8. It's a filthy dusty mess to empty9. Have to use on high in order to clean 10.etc....

I wanted a coreless vac that still had enough power to clean up even the dirtiest floor and I am happy with the Lupe. My only complaint is with battery life. However, I assume this negative is the cost for giving me the power to clean the floor. The battery is not horrible, I can still clean a few rooms before I even notice that the vacuum is slowing down a little. Still happy to be a Lupe ower

Love the power and how lightweight and maneuverable my Lupe is. I have had no issues with it over the many months I have owned it (using it every day). Great vacuum!

At first, I was a little skeptical of the literature and the reviews. However, the modular design of the Lupe is very handy in cleaning the vacuum, as well as in obtaining parts (should that become necessary... so far... not). It also has a very powerful suction for a cordless vacuum. It also is easy to hold and use... ie doesn't strain your back or arm when vacuuming. Easy to store. I should note that I bought a second battery, so really battery life isn't that big of a deal for me. Overall, very pleased.

Service was fine. Order was delayed several times past the expected delivery date set at pre-order time, however there was communication with updates which gave reassurance.

The brushes on the head of the vacuum stopped spinning. After a very brief interaction with Lupe, the new parts were sent out immediately. It was less than 1 week from the date reported, until the new parts got our vacuum back going. Great customer service.

The vacuum works as advertised. It does a good job of cleaning carpet, vinyl and hardwood floors. I think it was worth the 600 bucks US I paid for it. Customer service was fine. I had a couple questions for them before we bought the vacuum. None since. Only gave it 4 starts cause it likes to jam up a bit if you have any hay pieces or anything other than dust type dirt. We have a few farm animals so small pieces of hay will get in the house from time to time. It is easy to take apart and clean but you have to do it a lot or it will not work well. There is a small wiper strip in front of and behind the wheels that spin. The trailing strip gets blocked by dust and or debris and then just sweeps dirt backwards. The trailing edge came loose so I just ripped it off. Works better now. I use compressed air to clean the vacuum which works fine. The main hose leaving the floor attachment is made of spiral plastic hose. It has internal valleys in the spirals that like to capture anything other than dust. Don't get me wrong, this is a good vacuum and it cleans like crazy. We had a 30 year old Electrolux that was better but modern battery powered products just do not measure up to the old school stuff. If you have a typical 1500-2000 Sq. Ft. home it will do the whole house on a single charge. Just not on the highest setting. If you run it in high speed it pulls so hard it is difficult to move it across the floor. It will have to be cleaned according to their instructions before it will do that house again. Satisfied overall and use it regularly.

Was very disappointed with this unit, the battery lasts at best 20 to 25 minutes. We bought Lupe for the power but unfortunately can use it because it full power the batter may only last 5 minutes.

Two specific things make this vacuum superior to other competing models. The “smooth” foam roller picks up everything (I have two parrots and a dog) and surprisingly misses nothing. Also, the ease of access to clean out the roller or brush is as simple as inserting a coin and turning 1/4 rotation. Besides those two specific things it’s a very strong motor and vacuum with lightweight flexibility…..perfect in a cordless unit.

I’ve had this vacuum for few months now & It’s not as great as it’s advertised…while vacuuming after sometime the dirt comes out if it…not sure why??? The power suction mode only last 15mins which I wish it should have been be highlighted as well. So I think the price paid us not worth it.

Work great, light yet sturdy. Parts are ease to order so should last a long time.

Hose needs to be a bit longer, and it definitely needs to come standard with 2 batteries.

The vacuum roller shuts off constantly in thicker carpet, almost useless. I contacted Lupe for a replacement and no one ever followed up with me. Rest of the vacuum is fine but nothing like the power of Dyson.

Bought vacuum for high power, replaceable parts, have found it very useful especially for quick family room maintenance. The I used it with the detachable hose for my car after a long trip and (you may have heard) a lot of rain in California. It cleaned our car amazingly well, better than anything else has ever done.
