We visited Le Chene Gris for 2 nights, thank god it wasn’t any longer. The only good thing about this site is the train station next door, handy to visit Paris. Our pitch was full of cigarette buts and bottle tops. The pool was too small for the amount of people on the site. No toilet seats on toilets, constantly run out of toilet paper, nowhere to wash your hands when you come out of the toilets. The shop on site had no fresh food, just ‘reserved beer’ in the fridges. Dog poo left in the road.
Sorry but I will not be going back.

Do not book this place! Dog poo on the floor, drunken people at night screaming, throwing bottles throwing up! People playing loud music at night and the campsite just didn’t have the means to deal with the poor behaviour. When I complained, they did their best it act upon it, but people were still so noisy at night that we didn’t sleep. There were teenagers having a little party in the toilets, throwing water and climbing over the toilets whist other people did their business! The hygiene standards were poor, no hand soap, poo on the floor in the toilet and often no toilet paper! The toilets were male/female shared. The pool area is ok, some slides for little ones and a nice snack bar. Overall, I would not recommend this place because of the lack of security on site and the disregard for good hygiene. This I supposed to be a family resort but it felt more like an 18-30’s resort at night. Stay away if you’re a family with children, book if you’re a large group of young people wanting to party late until the early hours without much resistance from the campsite!

Do not book through these people. Use them to find a campsite and then book through the campsite directly. They make zero effort to help with any changes that you may need to make for whatever reason and just make you forfeit 100% of what you have paid. Yes this may be in their terms and conditions but it is still utterly horrendous customer service and should be avoided at all costs. Use them as a search engine and never ever ever book through them directly

The camp site was lovely but our cabin was dreadful the seating was completely damaged the bed had 2 different sized mattresses on it which stunk
The shower changed from burning hot to freezing cold & the water did not drain from the tray base so it was almost impossible to use
The whole place was dirty & should not have been offered to rent when we complained there was nothing much the staff could do as they said they were full even though we offered to pay for an upgrade
We only stayed as our family were camping on the same site otherwise we’d have left & found somewhere else
We are very disappointed & quite disgusted & hope this is not being rented to another family in the state we found it

Easy booking, great price, fast response.

Straight forward and well priced

The caravan illustrated when we booked was not what we were given.

There was no oven and no top to the bbq.
