Random spammy emails from them

I'm currently part of a walking group that's based in Berkshire, and we got a random email saying that we'd been nominated for the travel and leisure award for the 10th anniversary. At first, it looked legit, but the more I red into it, the more I realised how fishy the whole email and website looked. I mentioned it to the committee I'm on, and they all agreed that it was some sort of spam.

If you receive one of their emails, please do ignore them, as from my own research, they'll just scam you out of a good amount of money. How these people can get away with this sort of thing is beyond me.

LUXlife is a bi-monthly digital publication, we publish relevant news stories and articles alongside on our website and offer advertising opportunities in our magazine, as well as host a variety of different award programs. Our award programs gather nominations through our online web forms, as well as our internal research team who put forward individuals, businesses, or groups we feel deserve recognition for their dedication and hard work. We ask individuals to accept their nomination to progress to the next stage to confirm they would like to progress, though we are always happy to answer any questions as well as highlight to the recipient why they have been nominated.

You have mentioned that we scam individuals out of money, though all our awards are free to enter and win which is highlighted typically within our communications. While it is true we offer winners optional paid opportunities to advertise with us, these are completely optional and have no impact on an individual’s chance to win and are only offered after winning. NOT GIVING ME REASON TO TRUST THEIR JUDGEMENTS

This company has nominated Living Simply House for one of their awards in the House & Garden category. I have lost £162 to Living Simply House, who, after 2 months have failed to deliver my order or reply to emails, or answer their various phone numbers. The reviews on Trust Pilot are shocking. HOW can Lux-Life nominate such a company - have they failed to carry out due diligence prior to putting them forward for an award? Or - has Living Simply House paid to be nominated? Lux Life are also non contactable.

Fake awards

They are trying to make you buy their "physical award", given to you for no reason, saying that you can exhibit it on your desk or something, but, you will also be shown as a winner on their website digitally.
One year later, nothing happened. The website is not updated, the winners are not showing anywhere.
They are just hoping that you will buy that "physical award" which is worth ~500e.

I can see that we were in contact with you in October 2021 as you were nominated in the Global Excellence Awards. Though as per our process we require confirmation of how you would like to proceed after being notified, with no further communication from yourself this didn’t proceed, though we did attempt to reach out multiple times.

As you mentioned we do offer additional paid marketing materials such as trophies, though these are optional and in no way impact your chances of winning.
