Luxreaders is a Danish company with roots in Copenhagen. The company is founded with the ambition to digitize the purchase of reading glasses and end up with the notion that reading glasses is a necessary evil that must be boringly designed and poor in quality. Therefore, we have done our utmost to produce some reading glasses, where both design and quality are top notch while they are still affordable. We’ve many years of experience from the optical industry and have therefore closely monitored how the market for reading glasses is largely driven by gas stations, supermarkets and the like. These businesses focus to a large extent on low prices, high margins and preferably a high frequency of repurchases when customers' vision has to be corrected. The result is bad and ugly reading glasses in poor quality. We want to change that! Stylish Protective and Good Value for Money
Having just had my cataracts done, I needed readers and sunglasses quickly. I bought three pairs from Luxereaders. They give me protection for my eyes, they look good and are good value for money. They were delivered quickly too.

Great glasses poor customer support
I do feel bad about giving such a low score as the glasses are really rather good and I have ordered numerous pairs. However there were problems with the delivery, I reached out firstly to Royal Mail but was unable to get any support. I then contacted Luxreaders support but to date, a week after contacting them, I have yet to receive a response.

Good Customer Service and good quality glasses
Placed order to take on holiday, 2 weeks ago, expected to arrive in a week according to tracking information, still not delivered.
Update I have now received the order, I understand the delay was due to UK Customs checks, which held delivery up by over a week. This was not the fault of Lux and to be fair to them they kept in touch until the issue was resolved. The glasses I received appear to be of good quality especially in comparison with those I gave received from similar companies.

Product quality and style.... great
I bought a pair of sunglasses and two pairs of reading glasses. The quality of the manufacture, material and style are excellent. I'm a retired product designer and very much appreciate good design and quality of product. Since my cataract operations I need reading glasses. If fact essential to me but up until now I found that off the shelf products and the cheaper frames crack and break after a very moderate time and use. I've only had the Luxreaders for about a week so cannot yet vouch for their longevity. However, as mentioned the feel and quality of these gives me confidence that they will last.
