Assistance with complicated logistics. Fair price for first rate services.
Assistance with complicated booking, selection of hotels, coordination of a complex travel itinerary getting from place to place in a tightly coordinated fashion were all notable pluses. Drivers were very good and the vehicles were very comfortable. Guide at Machu Picchu was particularly good.
Negatives: lack of detail on the invoice, which caused some confusion as to how loyalty benefits for cruise portion of trip were treated; information on travel logistics for the next day needed to be prompted; we felt we had a lack of input on the day tours re our preferences for types of sites to visit and advice on options for how to allocate time, poor seat selection on domestic flights (every domestic flight they arranged we were seated directly behind the exit row!), not soliciting information from us re airline reward program for credits from domestic flights on partner airlines.

just wanted to take a moment to say thank you for an absolutely incredible week in Peru. From start to finish, everything was seamless, well-organized, and thoughtfully curated.
Each day felt special and perfectly balanced — the cultural experiences, breathtaking landscapes, beautiful accommodations, and smooth transfers all came together effortlessly. Fantastic Trip
Excellent pre-trip communication & customisation of itinerary with Diana.
All tour guides, meet & greet staff & drivers were punctual, providing seamless travel.
The transport vehicles were clean & spacious and the drivers drove very safely.
Each sector of our travel was executed perfectly and we felt well taken care of throughout.
The guides were informative & comprehensive especially in Machu Picchu - Berto was great!

I contacted this company regarding a Machu Picchu tour and was put in touch with David Quinn, who was helpful at first, but a bit pushy about getting me to commit. After about 4 emails requesting changes, he told me that he had already made a TON of changes and wished he would have told me earlier about my requests. As I am researching and planning while corresponding, I would not have known about modifications right away. I ended up not booking with this company after the final email making me feel like I was asking for too much and causing such an inconvenience. I did not expect this treatment from a LUXURY travel company. I recommend you look elsewhere for agents who are patient and respectful.

Sightseeing vacation in Peru for a couple
Booking process for this vacation was easy and detailed and helped us to prepare well for this trip and to know what to expect well in advance. We received very specific itinerary on a travel app and could follow our accommodation, travel schedule and activities during the trip. Diana was always very responsive when we had a question outside of itinerary. In every place we travelled we had different driver and tourist guide for that region. We were very pleased to find out how knowledgeable and helpful they all were, very good experience spending time with all the people who agency arranged to work for this trip with us. We highly recommend Luxury Peru Travel for creating and realising an unforgettable beautiful traveling experience in Peru.

Smooth Operators
Everything ran super smoothly, this was a complex trip with many stops, journeys and tours involved and there were no mistakes and everyone involved with the Luxury Peru TC were on time. Only tiny negatives were no medical support in Lima so we had to sort that out ourselves and a poor meal in Arequipa.

Nuestro viaje por Perú ha sido una experiencia extraordinaria, perfectamente coordinada y con un nivel de calidad que se mantuvo constante a lo largo de todo el itinerario. La organización, la atención personalizada y el acompañamiento profesional hicieron de esta ruta un recorrido profundamente enriquecedor.
En el ámbito de las visitas guiadas, queremos destacar especialmente a Iván, nuestro guía en Machu Picchu. Su conocimiento experto, su manera estructurada de transmitir la información y su gran profesionalidad convirtieron la visita al santuario en un momento verdaderamente memorable.
De igual modo, merecen una mención destacada Blanca, en Lima, y Milei, en Arequipa, ambos guías cercanos, rigurosos y muy atentos, que añadieron un enorme valor a cada explicación. Cada uno, desde su ámbito, aportó una perspectiva complementaria impecable, sin desmerecer en absoluto el trabajo del resto del equipo.
En cuanto a los alojamientos, el nivel general fue sobresaliente. En particular, el hotel “El Convento” en Cusco y el establecimiento del Valle del Colca resultaron extraordinarios por su encanto, comodidad, ubicación y calidad de servicio, convirtiéndose en algunos de los puntos más destacados del viaje.
Por su parte, el hotel “Titicaca Lake” en Puno ofreció una estancia correcta y funcional. Si bien no se encuentra al nivel superior del resto de alojamientos incluidos en el itinerario, su servicio fue adecuado y cumplió correctamente su función dentro del viaje.
En conjunto, este viaje ha sido una experiencia magnífica, llena de momentos inolvidables y profesionales que demostraron un alto nivel humano y técnico. Sin duda, una experiencia que recomendamos plenamente.

Not A Five Star Company
I usually plan our trips. This was and exceptionally busy year for my family, so I decided to use a tour company for the first time.
We enjoyed the communication ahead of time. After our arrival, every time we had a tour guide or driver they were prompt and helpful.
Machu Picchu was everything we dreamed of. A few of the hotels were some of the best we have ever stayed in. We loved both train rides.
When things worked according to plan, this was a perfect trip. However, we had a couple of major snafus that put a damper on our experience.
I always book a spa/relaxing experience in the middle of our trips. This is a great way to catch your breath, reflect, and get ready for the second half. We booked a special spa treatment at the Inkaterra El Pueblo after our first day at Machu Picchu. We had to run through town to get to the appointment on time. When we arrived, they had no record of our treatment. The front desk was not at all helpful and did not offer any concern. We called the Travel Company at this point and they were zero help. No explanations and no solutions were offered. A 'luxury' company would have offered an alternative or made up the error at some point. We decided to just go to dinner. The food was not good. Then we went to the room...no hot water, a dead bug in the shower, and stains on the walls. Yikes. We were also not informed that there was a hot springs on site available for our use and we were not offered a welcome drink, both things we later found out were included.
Another reason we chose this company was that small group or private tours were part of the package. On our Lake Titicaca day there were at least 40 people on our tour. In no land is 40 people a small group.
While we did appreciate many aspects of the tour, in my mind a Luxury Experience (and the huge price tag) means that everything is seamless, and if there is an issue it gets addressed immediately. Based on this trip, I probably won't use a company again.

I’m truly glad to hear that many parts of your journey—from Machu Picchu to the trains, guides, and several of the hotels—were everything you hoped for. When things ran as designed, it sounds as though the experience matched the level of care we aim to deliver on every itinerary.
I’m very sorry that not everything met that standard. The situation at Inkaterra El Pueblo should not have happened. Your spa reservation was confirmed on our end, and you should never have had to race through town only to be told there was no booking. Nor should you have encountered poor communication from the hotel, housekeeping problems, or missed inclusions such as the welcome drink and access to the hot springs. These fall below both your expectations and ours, and we will be addressing them directly with the property’s management.
The Lake Titicaca group size is another point you are right to raise. You booked with us expecting small-group or private services, and a 40-person outing is far outside that definition. We are reviewing this with our local partner to ensure this does not occur again.
I appreciate that the year was exceptionally busy for you and that you entrusted us with planning your holiday during an important time. While I’m pleased that many elements were memorable for the right reasons, the issues you faced understandably affected the overall impression.
Thank you again for your honesty. We will use your comments to improve, and I hope we can regain your confidence in the future.
Our Great ‘Luxury Peru’ Tour
All our daily local contacts met us at the indicated places where and when expected. Contacts (guides, drivers and intermediaries) were very helpful and polite. The locations planned and toured exceeded our expectations. The bus and train service was a very pleasant and comfortable experience as well. All in all, Luxury Peru was very professional and made us feel like ‘special’ clients. Even the weather cooperated.

David planned our itinerary perfectly…
David planned our itinerary perfectly according to our budget and what we wanted to do and see. He also made recommendations that we wouldn’t have considered and we were very pleased he did as we would have missed out on an enjoyable train journey from Puno to Cusco with Luxury Peru Rail. All the tour guides and drivers were excellent and friendly. Only criticism was the long drive from Arequipa to Puno over the two days.

Outstanding service and guides
1. The accommodations booked were very high quality and all meals provided were outstanding - Peru truly has outstanding chefs preparing unique, delicious dishes.
2. Carlos - the guide for Lima Gourmet food tour was excellent. So informative and the places we ate were superb.
3. Guides at Machu Picchu (Beto) and the Amazon (Inkaterra - Tino) were excellent. They were very informative and adapted their pace to our group.
4. Unexpected, but LPT staff transferring us to airports had printed bag tags and tickets when picking us up at the hotels. They led us to the bag drop and helped with luggage. It was a huge help to have someone local help navigate the airports with us. Airports are hectic enough, so smoothly getting bags checked and to security was really appreciated.
5. One person in our group of 4 had to be hospitalized in Cusco. Andrew with LPT visited hospital and was so very helpful to the patient and his wife in modifying their plans and assisting with the travel insurance company. That speaks volumes about LPT customer service.
Overall big thumbs up to all!

The owners and guides were absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately, our trip was interrupted before we were able to go to the Amazon due to my husband being hospitalized with pneumonia in Cusco. Andrew was extremely helpful as we tried to navigate changes in our itinerary, lodging, and transportation. He even came to the hospital to visit me the first day!
The part of the tour that we were able to experience was unbelievable. The food tour in Lima could not have been better. On the second-day tour of Machu Picchu they provided a separate guide for my husband who stayed with him and shared much of the history of Machu Picchu while another guide did the scheduled tour with the other person who was going to take that tour.
I could go on and on with positive comments, but this highlights how responsive this company and its employees are to those who book them.

Diana has been so responsive throughout the entire vacation. From initial travel decisions to in country questions and concerns. We wanted a luxury 1st class vacation and that is certainly what we received. Every hotel was lovely as well as the guides and drivers! Peru is such a beautiful country!
