If you are planning to visit Cusco or any of the many amazing attractions in and around Cusco, including everything from Machu Picchu to Rainbow Mountain and beyond, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Peru Summit Adventures! They are incredible! I sent my wish list to Carlos and he turned it into a full detailed itinerary for me that was flawless! Our driver, Percy, picked us up at the airport in Cusco and took us to the hotel when we arrived late in the evening the first night. Then the next morning, Percy and our tour guide Simon picked us up at the hotel to take us to the Sacred Valley and had several amazing stops along the way including the Moray Ruins, Maras Salt Mines, the Ollantaytambo Fortress and more! They dropped us at the hotel in Ollantaytambo at the end of the first day and gave us a great restaurant recommendation for dinner. Day 2 we took the train to Aquas Calientes and then the bus to Machu Picchu where Simon guided us through with an awesome tour of the archeological site. We then tried to take the train back to Ollantaytambo but a cargo train had derailed and the trains were down the rest of the day. But Simon and Carlos helped us find a great hotel for the night there rather than waiting it out with hundreds of people in the train station and they also took care of getting our train tickets changed for the next morning. Day 3 after we took the train back with Simon to Ollantaytambo, Percy was there waiting for us to take us to the Pisaq Archeological Ruins and the town of Pisaq where Simon guided us through the ruins and then down the mountain and into the town before they took us back to our hotel in Cusco for the night. Finally, the next morning, Percy came to take us to the airport for our return flight to Lima. Percy and Simon were awesome!!!! The entire experience was incredible and they took care of EVERYTHING for us each day with the logistics, tickets, transportation, tours, etc. Carlos recommended great hotel options for us as well which was the only thing we had to book ourselves. We opted for a private tour so it was just the two of us with the same driver and tour guide throughout the trip. And everywhere we went, so many people knew our tour guide Simon and stopper to say hello to him and he said hello to many people along the way as well. Worth every penny! Best travel experience with any tour company I’ve ver had and they handled so many details for our three days in the Cusco area! My husband and I booked and loved the Lodge to Lodge hike to Macchu Picchu with Juan. We had an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. Juan was fun, easy to talk to, super knowledgeable about the places and sites we visited. We loved the authentic cultural experiences - especially having lunch at a local family's home. Hotels were amazing, food was amazing, the hikes were gorgeous. Absolutely flawless execution by Carlos and his team. I would highly recommend using Peru Summit and we will be back!

Fabulous small business that custom built a private 3 day tour for us. The transportation was clean and safe. The guides were conscientious and thoughtful. They were a plethora of knowledge and made learning about the history, fun and interesting (from someone that doesn’t love history). They also helped us take lots of fun pictures! I cannot recommend Peru Summit enough- I would happily book with them again!! Additionally the guides stopped to buy bread and handed it out to locals along the roadside during our travels… These people really care about their communities!! We left as friends after the trip!!

Amazing tailor-made 6 day Incan adventure from Peru Summit Adventures went beyond our expectations! From airport pick to that parting goodbyes… we came as clients and left as family! The service was on point, the transfers and travels were done in a safely manner (thanks Elvis), the guide, Juan…proud of his Incan heritage share his passion with his detailed history points and always making sure that we get the best spot for our pictures! We enjoyed traveling not with the guide and the driver but with friends! We shared laughters, snacks, family stories and pictures… it was more than just a tour!!! Machu Picchu and Rainbow Mountains were the tops on favorite places we went. Longing for a return already and we just got back!

My friend and I visited Peru last week, and we booked a trip to Machu Picchu from Ollantaytambo through Peru Summit Adventures. We had the privilege of having William as our tour guide. Our day was absolutely fantastic! We had a blast exploring Machu Picchu, and were so happy to learn as much of the history of Machu Picchu as we did. William was extremely knowledgeable and made our trip so much fun! I would HIGHLY recommend booking your trip to Machu Picchu through Peru Summit Adventures. I was overwhelmed by the prospect of booking the train tickets, bus tickets, and circuit tickets independently, and Carlos and the team at Peru Summit Adventures took care of all of this.

Peru Summit Adventure was the perfect company to explore Peru with! From communication and price to organization and execution, they did a fantastic job. Carlos and the planning team made sure to cater to our interests and fit all our bucket list items into the time we requested. They had great hotel accommodations, private drive (shoutout to Gustavo), and perfectly packed days throughout the whole trip.

I was amazed at how well they thought out every day and its plans. The sometimes early wake up calls were worth it to miss the rush of tourists in popular places. Felt like we had Macchu Picchu and Rainbow Mountain to ourselves. We researched so many tour companies and while they all offer similar tours, no other group was as small and personalized as Peru Summit made ours. Private tour (for 3 of us) for the price of a big group tour.

The three biggest highlights of the trip were the Inca Trail hike to Machu Picchu, Rainbow Mountain, and our tour guide Juan. Juan was the epitome of a great tour guide. He was knowledgeable, patient, flexible, and so kind. He took the time to answer any question we had, no matter how obscure. Juan taught us about his Quechua upbringing, his connection with the country, and so much more. Couldn't have asked for a better tour guide!

There are so many tour company options for visiting Peru and I feel so grateful we stumbled upon the best one. Could not recommend Peru Summit more!

I spent 5 days with Peru Summit Adventures on the way to Choquequirao. It was an incomparable adventure. Very exhausting, but the great landscape, our very knowledgeable guide Fernando and Domingo's cooking skills helped make this trip unforgettable. The highlight was the very impressive Choquequirao complex and the many stories about it from Fernando. We really enjoyed the day and exploring Choquequirao.
Many thanks also to Carlos from Peru Summit Adventures, who took care of everything in advance. The contact during the reservation was always very quick and detailed. I found the meeting after the trek very positive, where Carlos asked with great interest about everything related to the trek we had completed.

We did a 2-week private tour with Peru Summit Adventures and everything was smooth and perfect!

I always got prompt and detailed email replies from Carlos; his attention to detail and caring approach really made our Peru tour exceptional.

Our Guides Rene (Arequipa & Colca Valley) and Juan Pablo (Cusco & Machu Picchu) were knowledgeable and patient; they always catered the pace and activities perfectly to suit our interests and energy levels throughout the day. Drivers drove safely, and cars were in good condition. During the trip Carlos always checked on us to make sure things were fine. Lunch included in tour was buffet style.

For me the highlight is Amazon Rainforest. Carlos suggested Tambopata, as its deeper location offers more wildlife viewing opportunities. We love wildlife photography and Carlos arranged a guide with the lodge accordingly. Thanks to Carlos and our guide Silverio, we saw many different species of wildlife and took amazing photos.

All in all the team went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable and comfortable time in Peru. Huge thanks to Carlos and his team for their professionalism and for making our private tour in Peru such a special experience!
