Ordered ka120 for delivery it took over a week many promises that it’s coming tomorrow

My experience with Machinery4wood has been extremely disappointing.
I purchased a machine that arrived defective. I followed all of the company's return instructions exactly as provided, using the courier and return process they arranged.
After returning the item, I was informed that UPS had intercepted the parcel. Instead of resolving the issue, Machinery4wood told me they were not responsible and effectively directed me to the courier. However, my contract is with Machinery4wood, not UPS, and the courier was chosen by them.
As a result, I have been left without the product and without a refund, despite complying with every instruction given to me. I have repeatedly tried to resolve the matter amicably, but the company has refused to take responsibility for the failed return process.
This situation has caused significant stress, inconvenience, and financial loss. The money tied up in this purchase was intended to help fund my daughter's university expenses, yet months later I am still waiting for a proper resolution.
I have now had no option but to pursue the matter through my payment provider and consider further legal action.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Machinery4wood. I would advise other customers to think carefully before purchasing, particularly if you ever need to rely on their returns process or after-sales support.

I was kept informed of my order status and it was delivered as advised. This company went out of there way so I could keep my machine running.

Terrible service, we were told by the women who served us in store we could return the item within 2 weeks if incorrect as we needed to double check the size. We went to return the item all in its original packaging unopened and were told that was for online orders only, not in person and we could only have an exchange. When we asked for a credit note that was also refused, so when I asked how long do I have to exchange (baring in mind we live 20 miles away) we were told "I dont know, ummmm you cant leave it any longer, so lets say 7 days?" Completely made up their returns policy on the spot after misleading us. Just be 100% clear on what you are buying from this company as the service is awful and are unlikely to accommodate a return.

What a very dissatisfied, disappointing place. Came to visit whilst on holiday with hubby excited to have a look around the man toys. We open the door to be greeted with a lump of wood stopping us from going any further into the amazing tool shop. A grumpy man came over explaining Covid rules means no more shop (maybe online only wanted). We were told if you tell me what you want I will bring it to you??? The only way I can explain is, it’s like going to Tesco and being stopped at the door and you’re not allowed to browse anymore. Blaming Covid is just bizarre that was what 5 years ago when was the last time we had to wear a mask and distance ourselves? Maybe find a new excuse. If you want a good wood working shop and are in Somerset with friendly staff I highly recommend Yandles in Marock Somerset 10/10 they are smashing.
