Westcountry Machinery 4 Wood Avis 

After quick delivery of my new Festool and my feedback on the scuff marks, Westcountry quickly took appropriate action addressing the issue in full and compensated above expectation. They also provided the feedback to Festool who also got in touch to ensure the issue was addressed. Impressive customer service!

I ordered 4 Bessey clamps but accidentally selected the wrong model.

I decided to return them.

The Westcountry Machinery 4 Wood website states a 15% restocking fee applies on both the ‘Returns’ and ‘Terms and Conditions’ web pages.

When I contacted Westcountry Machinery, an employee denied the restocking fee would apply and dismissed my concerns about the website’s wording with an abrasive email.

I attempted to return the clamps to the address provided on the invoice and website, but the Post Office couldn't verify it for Parcelforce, as no business at that address exists.

After two hours and several post office visits, I contacted Westcountry Machinery 4 Wood and was that the address needs a "T" at the end of the postcode instead of an "R” that is on the invoice and website.

The member of staffs' attitude was rude and dismissive, and he clearly felt I should have known about the postcode error.

In summary, Westcountry Wood 4 Machinery claims they do not charge a restocking fee, although their website indicates otherwise.

Also, be aware of the misleading postcode format when returning items and expect poor customer service if you meet issues.

Extremely helpful with advice over the phone and delivery very prompt with email update on item to follow.
