No contact number, no email address and a message service that they don't respond to.

I've left 6 or 7 messages over a 3 week period without a response to any of them.

I've given up. Not worth the hassle.

My order seemed to fall foul of holidays and other issues that took the sellers attention away from the business. Not a great shopping experience as I don't really want to be involved in that but my order was fulfilled and I did get an explanation and apology for the delay and slow communication.

Hi Graham, I'm very sorry. I have emailed and left a voicemail. With the bank holiday your order has only been 4 working days. Granted I did not respond for 2 days to your first ticket however I have explained why. Your items have been posted today along with a free gift by way of apology. Hopefully this will help you realise we are not a scam site. We have been in business for over 20 years and work very hard as a small company to deliver.

Missing order rectified

I originally placed an order which didn't get processed. Magic world initially contacted me to apologise and assured me it would go through. A week or so later I hadn't heard anything so sent some messages with no reply. A few days later, unsure what to do I left a review here and they contacted me straight away to apologise for not contacting me due to being busy with Blackpool. They assured me that my order would be sent out Monday and a couple of days later most of my order turned up. They included an extra special pack of cards too as a good will gesture. My other pack of cards that was missing from the order arrived today another week later.

Although frustrating communicating, getting a response and the time it took to get my order to arrive the contact I did have was very professional and reassuring that I would eventually get my order. I understand that sometimes things don't go smoothly and can go wrong. The main thing is I got my order in the end and hopefully won't have any issues like this in the future. Due to this I am willing to change my review to a 5 star rating.

Delayed but being delt with directly by the owner.

There was an issue with my order, however the owner contacted me directly to apologise has fixed the issue himself.
I had chased the order, but without realising I had replied to the confirmation email which is a No Reply.
Every business will have an issue once in a while, how it is dealt with is important.
Will not be holding this against them in future as it was dealt with promptly and corrected.

Hello David - I'm sorry to hear of this review. I have thoroughly checked my inbox and I can confirm I have not received a single email.

We clearly state on both http://magicworld.co.uk/contact-us and our help area: https://www.magicworld.co.uk/customer-help/ that you must open a ticket via our online chat which is checked daily.

To call theft and not even give us a chance to rectify is also a little reckless. Perhaps a genuine mistake has occurred.

You say you are not expecting a response but why when you can see we have other good reviews - a dedicated help area and have no previous reviews showing we cannot be contacted.

I have sent you an email (please check your spam). I have also left a voicemail and a whatsapp message.

I hope we can rectify this quickly and build a little confidence again in our company - and at that stage I hope you will consider to change this review.

Fast efficient service yet again! I have bought a few things from these guys and never had any problems. I even visited the shop once and they were so helpful helping me find the perfect magic for my skill level and needs.

Updated: Received my products

UPDATE: Following on from the original review the owner has been in contact with me, he was apologetic and explained that the last few weeks had been very busy with a few things and that this won't happen again. As an apology he offered me a discount as well as a few gift which I excepted. Following on from the original review I received the products within 4 days. I have increased the rating of the review and I am sure I will order again leaving another review of that experience which I hope will go smoother. Original review, 1 star: Honestly I am so disappointed by this company, I made an order on the 6th of August (today is the 23rd). I sent 4 emails that have been ignored, during this time he had the opportunity to send a mass advert email for another product he also sent a mass email saying he's been away and apologised for the delay, 3 weeks after that email still no product and still no reply. I even asked if I could add two other products to the order so I didn't have to pay for posted BUT now I don't even want to use this company as it is just unprofessional. I would avoid and spend a little more with another site and know it will arrive quicker. I have received an eBay magic order from Lithuania that was ordered 1 week after I placed this order, that shouldn't happen from a store.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. I’m very sorry for the frustration you’ve experienced. I’d like to clarify a couple of points and explain what has happened on our side.

We only received a single support ticket from you, which I replied to yesterday and I also left you a voicemail. Unfortunately, we don’t monitor emails for customer service (we make this clear on our Help section), which is why your messages there weren’t seen. Please know that at no point were you intentionally ignored.

As mentioned in my update, I was recently away attending Magic Live in Las Vegas, followed by the transition of selling our PrintByMagic business to Alakazam — a major step designed to allow me to focus fully on MagicWorld going forward. This has been a challenging period of change, and while we did send notices about expected delays, your order unfortunately was not processed automatically by our system, which created an additional issue.

I completely understand your disappointment. Your items are now scheduled to ship in our next dispatch on Wednesday, unless you’d prefer a refund instead — which I’m happy to arrange straight away if that suits you better.

Once again, I sincerely apologise for the delay and lack of clarity. We are making improvements during this transition to ensure smoother service going forward, and I appreciate your patience during what has been a difficult changeover.

Fantastic Magic Shop with Great Engagement

MagicWorld is a solid online and magic shop that provides a great selection of magic products. My past experience with a delivery was smooth, and James Anthony is always engaging as a magician, creator, and innovator in the magic community. His passion for magic really comes through, making it a great place to shop.

MagicWorld does a fantastic job of engaging with the magic community, particularly through James Anthony’s presence on YouTube and at events like the Blackpool Magic Convention. Their contribution to the magic world is undeniable, and I appreciate their efforts in keeping magic fresh and exciting. I had a slight dip in my engagement with magic last year, but this year I’m looking forward to diving back in, and MagicWorld will definitely be one of my go-to shops. Highly recommended!

Great customer service

Yes I was contacted after the review and my order sorted. I have received it now. Even received an extra bonus item.
Communication was very good from that point. Seems I was unlucky.
Items received are all excellent quality.

I have tried so many times in the last 4 weeks to contact this company as my order from December has never arrived. They do not respond to any messages. Tried online chat and email. They do not give you any other options to contact them.

I have spoken with the customer and provided evidence of the shipping to which Royal Mail has lost the item. I am re-posting out the items and apologised for how we missed the online chats which are very rare. Shocking service!

Sadly this company is shocking when trying to make contact. After numerous emails as well as trying their chat line everyone was ignored. I even phoned their sister company and got an answering service who requested my contact number in order for them to return my call but sadly I just got the same treatment, IGNORED. Will think more than twice when ordering from this company again.

I prioritised getting orders out because having phone numbers and whatsapp and messenger simply delays things and our online chat is usually very efficient.
