Premium quality, flame looks like it's burning on the wood. Great product.

The product is simply not as advertised, not even close. The flames look unrealistic with no holographic or 3D effect. It's like watching a flat TV video of flames. It looks the same from every angle and every distance.
The instructions for assembly do not always match the product which is confusing. Returning the item is next to impossible because everything has to be disassembled and repacked into the boxes with the original packing material exactly like it was delivered, which I learned too late.
I have now purchased a different brand fireplace, much less expensive, and it looks and works great. But I wasted thousands on the Magikflame product.

Do not purchase! Does not look anything like the pictures, very expensive for an item that is not as advertised. No customer service or return calls when calling for help or customer service. Extremely disappointed purchase.

Well my experience started out a little rocky. Little lack of comunication But tat got resolved. The tech support is friendly and knowledgeable . There are many flames to choose from ost of them look realistic with the soke and embers floating up from the flames. and then there is the crackling sounds of the fire .I also turn on the nature sounds and if you close your eyes makes you feel like your sitting in front of a campfire. Don’t waist your money on this fireplace .
Flames don’t look anything like the video they show. I have a cheap free standing electric unit that looks more realistic than the magic flame . Everything all the other one star reviews say are true . It is not worth the money. If you read magic flame responses to reviews it’s basically buyer beware. Truly a disappointment .

Shipping took about 10 days from the time we placed the order.... but it came at the perfect time with the insanely cold weather we had! It was installed in our small office, which is roughly about 400sqft and the heating system worked perfectly. Kept the office nice and warm and it was such a nice touch to get some work done and enjoying the fire crackles and coziness of the flames. Truly added the perfect touch to our home office. I highly recommend the morpehus if you're looking for a small and elegant electric fireplace.

Magik flame is the best and we love ours.

Very disappointed. The flame looks like the Christmas fireplace app you can put on your TV (two-dimensional), only SMALLER! Nowhere near a realistic appearance. The entire unit with mantel is worth no more than $2,000. Unlike the flame, I got burned on this purchase.

This product has very impressive marketing, but if you look closely, their marketing videos are all shot from a distance and from straight on. We bought one of their mantles for our bedroom. You enter the bedroom and see the mantle and fire-effect from the side. It looked like a television with a fire video was sitting in the mantle.

They are serious sticklers about returns and so, because we had to open the box for the mantle, we were not allowed to return it because it had been opened! (don't know how to assemble something to see if you like it without opening the box it was in.) We decided to keep it but disabled their "magic" effect and use the log set for what is a sub-par fire effect. It does do a good job heating the room.

We decided to return a second insert we bought to go into our living room fireplace. Shipping it back cost around $700 and they insisted on charging a restocking fee of around $600 (mind you, the boxes were unopened. So it cost me about $1300 dollars just to see that it doesn't look realistic.) On top of that, they kept another $300 because the unopened log set was cracked when it arrived at their facility. I had noticed that the box this log set was in had arrived at my home damaged with a big dent in it. So it most likely was damaged by their shipping company when they sent it to me. So now, I'm at ~$1600 dollars spent for absolutely nothing. We ended up finding a really nice fireplace log set that looks much better in our living room fireplace.

To sum it up, we found this company and their product anything but "magical."

I’ve called 3 times. Emailed with pictures and have had no response. I have a $4000 fireplace in my garage with a broken clip and no communication to correct the issue. Extremely frustrated!!!

I am normally skeptical about online buying and did a lot of research on fireplace inserts prior to purchasing the 28" Magik Flame insert. My experience has been outstanding. The product was delivered promptly and in excellent condition. The videos provided added to the ease of setup. The look of the fireplace is very modern and far exceeded my expectations.

Overall, very disappointed; deceptive advertising; overpriced electric fireplace (60" linear)

Would give 1 star b/c it’s not as advertised and way overpriced for what you get but did 2 b/c of quick shipping and quick replacement for bad LCD screen

Positive: quick shipping if in stock; did replace first unit quickly with bad screen (60 linear has 3 screens middle one was flickering). They picked up and replaced bad unit within 5-7 days. LCD screen does seem to have high quality video image. Heater seems to work well, but thermostat may not be calibrated right. The glass does have a nice effect with the side lights. The side lights/glow lights do provide a realistic fire glow on the glass rocks (coals) and wood.

Negative: DOES NOT project realistic fire onto the logs (this is a big deal as they foot-stomp this feature on their website and videos over and over even saying it’s the only electric fireplace that has this feature). It’s just LCD screens with images of fire; each LCD screen displays the same fire image running in a loop at the same time; would be better if each video was on different time points in loop so it’s harder to tell if it’s the same video loop on each screen. There are significant gaps between LCD screens and it’s a significant eyesore; esp in the dark b/c the LCD black background is not true or close to true black, so you see the gaps pop even more. This gap gives it a cheaper feel. The top and bottom lights are cheap looking and do not enhance the look of the fire, I don't even use them b/c they look cheap and don't enhance the fire feel (the red option for bottom light does make the glass rocks/coals look hotter but it would be nice if you could dim them b/c they are too bright; note side lights are good and provide the fire glow but they are in 4 small sets with gaps between them, I would like them to be longer and fill in the gaps more to provide additional glow effect). Wood is small and looks just adequate. They need to be larger, and more pieces should be provided to make them look better. Heater thermostat seems off. My home is set at 65, I must set it to 75/80 for it to turn on even when my house was showing 62 (you can only change thermostat by 5 degrees, would be good if you could change every 1 degree).

Do not go by their measurements in the manual, they are not accurate. Measure the unit yourself before you frame out to your plan.

We had an issue come up with one of the components on our fireplace, and they honored their 1-year warranty. I love when companies stand by their product, and they were helpful in getting our problem resolved. Thank you

accurate shipping times, easy setup with the video on the website. Adds new life to my once real fireplace. No hassle of a cleanup when needed, and has the same feel as real thing.

Finished getting our house remodeled last year and just added the final missing piece. Our magikflame has became the centerpiece of our living room. It was an adjustment replacing our gas fireplace with an electric one because we had to cap the gas line and get the insert installed, but the final outcome was well worth it.

So far, I am a happy owner. I really don't know how it will hold up honestly. It is my first electric fireplace, and the longevity of the screen worries me, especially since we keep ours on almost all day... I suppose I will report back in a few months.

Absolutely worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY. I normally don’t leave reviews, but my experience with them has been so good that I felt it deserved one.

From the day it arrived, it exceeded every expectation. The flame effects are unbelievably real. I have had friends walk in and ask if it was actually a real fire. The variety of flame settings is incredible, and no matter where you stand in the room, it looks natural. The build quality is solid and feels genuinely premium.

I’ve been using it regularly for months, and it’s held up perfectly. The heat output is great for taking the chill out of a room, but we mainly use it for aesthetics, not really the heat.

The downside, the price. It's higher priced than what's out there, but I can confidently say the quality justifies the cost. I would say if you can find some coupons or take advantage of promos, it would be the best time to buy.

Was a good unit. Would purchase again.

4000$ scam, do not buy.

the brackets dont rest at 45degrees like its supposed to. they only give you 2 screws for the bottom holes, by design, the glass is not fixed into the unit it can shift.

the BIGGEST issue is the "smart tv" that plays media. NOBODY WANTS A SMART TV. my elderly parents keep pushing ANY button thats not the on/off switch.

THERES A REASON THEY DO NOT OFFER IN STORE DISPLAY, BECAUSE IT DOESNT WORK.
