A great alternative to paying high fees that many solicitors charge for creating a will. The website is easy to use and the make a will team provide friendly, helpful advice. The will can be completed in your own time and reminder emails are handy to ensure you complete, print and sign the will.

I was torn between arranging a solicitor or making a will online, but as my will is simple decided to try online. The online process with Make A Will Online couldn't have been easier and was completed without any problems. I opted to use them as Trustees and their fees are paid from my inheritance after I die. I also decided to have the will bound and posted to me, which costs a little more but I think it was worthwhile and looks more professional. Once signed and sent off I was able to accurately update my other details within my account with the information they will need. Also, if I need to update my will, I get a number of free revisions each year, although I can't see it being necessary and hope it won't. The whole process was very simple, and if you have a simple will I can happily recommend it.

After looking around local solicitors to renew our wills and finding very high fees we found a review of MAWO on the Martin Lewis MSE website.
We filled in the onlne forms for mirror wills. When we reviewed them before submitting we discovering an error in our wishes. After contacting MAWO we were assured the problem would be investigated and fixed. That turned out to be true and we were able to submit and pay for our wills accordingly.
We were able to print off our wills but then realised we had made a small error with a name. I was able to go back in online and make the amendment without additional cost.
Will are now signed, witnessed, stored and copies sent to our executors.

We used Make a Will Online to do two (mirror) wills. We found the process very straightforward. It was easy to fill in the information on the web pages and the explanatory notes were clear. We used this company because the draft wills are checked by a solicitor. We heard back within their stated time frame that the wills had been checked. The information and advice about how to get the wills witnessed, storage and any future changes was very helpful. Overall, a good experience.
