The customer service was exceptional!!

The customer service was exceptional!!! I picked the wrong delivery option and they quickly got back to me in time to cancel and reorder the item!! With a discount on top of it!! Will definitely be ordering again!!

Amazing customer service!

I’ve ordered from Man Crates in the past for gifts and always had great experiences! This week I ordered two of the same item to give as gifts. However, today one got delivered and the other didn’t. Mistakes happen and the item was low in stock to begin with. I reached out to customer service and within minutes Menchie reached out. They were extremely prompt with their response and within 30 minutes they had my order corrected and a new one sent out! I normally don’t write reviews but I felt that this company and individual deserved some praise— especially when it comes to their customer service! Will 1000% order again. Thank you, again!

I don't normally write reviews, but I was so impressed with the customer service I received I had to give Man Crates 5 stars. I ordered a birthday present for a good friend. My order came on time BUT the order included 3 glass items. One of the items arrived broken. I sent an email with a picture. I had a response within an 1/2 hour with a replacement item coming. The product was as descried, and the customer service was exceptional. I would order again

What man crate?

I’ve ordered from man crates in the past and was happy with the quality. So I figured I’d try them again based on the previous experience, but I guess my mistake for assuming they had the same quality products. The quality has definitely gone downhill. A few years ago it took my husband about 30 minutes to open up the crate. This time around it took 30 seconds. What a joke of a box. The gimmick of the crate and whole point is the challenge to open it. I tried to leave a review on their website but they kept filtering it out. When I emailed to inquire why, they responded with their reasoning as being the reviews need to be constructive. Purposefully removing honest negative reviews is a shameful business practice. Horrible experience.

Personalized Jerry Can…

Ordered their Personalized Jerry Can Mini Bar. It was a birthday gift for my son. Shipping was slower than expected but, ok. Item arrived significantly damaged: bent clasp, dented in a few places, broken glasses inside. My son stated it was shipped in a basic cardboard box and was in a plastic bag. No padding, peanuts or bubble wrap. Customer service was called and I explained the issue. Asked if they could ship the item more protected. Replacement came in about the same shape. Bent hinge, dents and broken glasses. They shipped it the same way.. WTF!!! Got my refund and will not order from them again. Your company ships beef jerky in boxes made of wood that Superman needs to open for you but, the most expensive item that is actually fragile comes in a cardboard box and in a plastic bag. Time to rethink your shipping choices.

Have ordered from them less then 5…

Have ordered from them less then 5 times in the past couple years & have had nothing but great customer service & products UNTIL this time around. Ordered on the 31st, tracking said estimated delivery on the 7th. I called every day until today (the day I needed it for a birthday) & they said it was lost. Offered me a full refund OR to resend gifts. I asked to speak with the man that was helping me throughout this & wouldn’t be transferred. Would never recommend this company to anyone ever again. Customer service is 0 stars.

Never received the gift for my son in…

Never received the gift for my son in law for his 40th birthday. That is a huge screw up on their part for a milestone event. Should have read the reviews before hand rip off!!!! Buyer beware

Total garbage

Total garbage. They Litteraly sent saveon brand nuts and hillshire farms brand summer sausage. They called them their own artisan selection. Also it was supposed to be peaches and the sent nectarines. I mean nothing was correct.

Don’t waste your money

Keep it short and simple

The “expected “ date is false, mine came in 4 days later. I asked customer service and they said “it was the curriers fault” which I’ve used UPS before and never had that bad of an issue

The “crate” literally came in pieces and I had to put it back together myself.

Items in crate are subpar but definitely not worth the price.

Save your money and either DIY or just give a good gift instead of this.

Ignore the negative reviews! Exceptional company, exceptional customer service and amazing products!

I should've posted this sooner but I purchased three items for Christmas, the whiskey set the meat rub set, and a popcorn set. I feel that the descriptions are very appropriate and it is not difficult to figure out whether or not your item will come in a crate or not. The things that come in a crate say they are in a crate and the things that don't come in a crate do not mention a crate. I loved this idea for my son and son-in-law who are incredibly hard to buy for and I had some questions so I reached out via telephone and left a voicemail and I received a call back from a gentleman named Garrett who was absolutely wonderful. He was upbeat and patient and kind and really helped me out. I got my order quickly and I love how it was packaged. Two of the things I got came in crates and they added it in some free things for me which was above and beyond, likely because I had shared some personal information with him about my health. The guys absolutely loved their crates and have been using them now since Christmas and they love the items in the crates! And my son loves the rubs from the kit. He grinds them up to make them a bit smaller which is no big deal and that's his preference everything you need to know is on their website however, should you need further information, their customer service is exceptional. I highly recommend this company and I love that they add new products and this will be my go to for my son and son-in-law going forward because the experience was so great. Seeing them open the crates was so much fun and they loved it too! Very happy customer. I read other reviews here and it upsets me because people are not Always doing the review accurately. Which lowers their score. That's frustrating to me. If I had looked here first, I may not have moved further. I'm glad I didn't. So for anyone that reads this, I ended up with a total of five products, three were with crates and the other two were not but they were packaged very well and I knew exactly what I was getting. I got them quickly. Because I had questions I contacted them and got a call back quickly. And I know they don't accept returns but I truly believe that if someone had an issue with their order, if you reached out to them and spoke to them, I'm sure that they would work something out with you. That's how confident I am with them. So don't hesitate! Now I need to leave reviews on their actual website as well!

3/5 stars due to the idea and quality…

3/5 stars due to the idea and quality of the knife being overall excellent.

Missing one star due to the little instruction guide book given. It was not helpful to someone who has never assembled a knife before and two parts that came with the box were not pictured or explained at all.

Missing one other star due to having to resource outside of the instructions and Man Crate company for YouTube’s guidance.

Overall great gift if you know what you’re doing. I do recommend this gift set. If you are an absolute novice, maybe start with something else and work your way up to understanding the assembly first.

DIY Skinner Knife

DIY Skinner Knife: Instructions provided were very poor.
Hardly could be called "instructions."
Responsive service to my request for better instructions. Unfortunately they didn't have any. Cut myself taking blade out of its box. Yeah I know! Be careful! Suggest manufacturer put a protector all the way down the blade not just the tip. You'll be wingin it trying to figure out how to finish this knife.

The Mount Rubsmore kit is garbage

The Mount Rubsmore kit used to be fantastic. Aburgerham Lincoln and Thomas Jeffersalmon were the best. My wife ordered a new "improved" recipe kit for Christmas. This "new recipe" is literally salt. The only thing it's good is melting snow in the driveway. I can't explain how disappointed we are with this product now. I think it's odd that it's listed as one of their best sellers on the website yet there aren't any reviews for this kit since January 2022....3 years ago. They shipped us a box of crap and charged an arm and a leg to ship that crummy product and they wouldn't even refund the shipping because there wasn't anything wrong with it. There was something wrong with it...it's garbage.

Rip Off

I received my man crate and 3/4 of it was missing. When I contacted them, they said they would replace the missing items. After two weeks I still hadn’t received my items. I contacted Man Crates again. They said it was out of stock now and I was receiving an $8.00 refund. For missing 3/4 of my crate I spent $120.00. That’s crazy!!! I will never order from here again.

Check your spelling... there are no options if it's wrong

Had a problem with an order placed possibly caused by me to be honest, a name spelling error. since during the process there is not a way to proof your request and see what it will look like. (not sure error was mine) but asked for assistance on being able to buy just the contents that were customized and was told there is no way to do that I would need to buy the Crate again if I wanted to fix it. Full price this time not on sale. All I can say is Double Check your spelling and take a screen shot, just in case. There is no solution if it is wrong. Oh and since it was a gift I found out it was wrong in front of a crowd.
