So easy to work with. I ordered a lure kit and it didn't show up. When I inquired about it they immediately refunded my shipping charge but when we found that it was delivered somewhere else, they reshipped out a new kit. I didn't have to ask, suggest or inquire for any of this. It was automatic. I will be buying more crates in the future for all the men in my life! Thank you Man Crates!
Impressive Product and Customer Service
Several years ago, we bought three Mancrates for our grown sons for Christmas. What a blast they had, racing against each other to open them with the mini crowbars provided! So much fun and the contents were good quality. This year, I ordered an item for my overseas brother-in-law and received it here, stateside, in a timely fashion - forgetting that he is no longer associated with an APO address and therefore, shipping would be extremely exorbitant! ManCrates customer service was AMAZING and gracious - yes, a real person answered the phone when I said I needed customer service, spoke English well, and helped me with my return request as well as giving me some thoughts on future possibilities. I can honestly say that was the best experience I have had in…well…years! We’ll be working with them again and appreciate the quality of their staff and their crates!
Disappointed Grandma
I ordered a knife kit and 2 fishing lure kits. The knife kit was great. One of the fishing kits plastisol had leaked. I was sent a replacement in a timely manner BUT the top to the glitter in that one had came loose and glitter was everywhere. Not what I wanted to present as a gift. Stay away from the fishing kit and you should be fine.

8 Month Nightmare: I GIVE UP!
I am writing this review to help others avoid the nightmare I have had to endure with Man Crates. I have already been in contact with two managers, Tiffany & Meghan. They have tried to make it right, but each "resolution" comes with more mistakes. They say "100% satisfaction guaranteed", but at what cost and how many attempts before they do get it right? Man Crates prides itself on the fun in just opening its boxes, but I now equate a Man Crates box with disappointment because it's never correct; even when that said box is to make up for a previous mistake. This has been a nightmare for 8 months now.
It all began because I was interested in the Shawarma-nator Grill for my husband when it first came out in the fall of 2021. In November 2021 I decided to order it as a Christmas gift, but I waited too long and it was sold out, no ones fault but my own. Then in April 2022 I got an email notifying me that it was back in stock (it wasn't). I reached out to customer service to see why I got the notification when it had not in fact returned. I got told conflicting information from the same person, it was extremely frustrating. First, it was never back in stock, then they said it did arrive but the warehouse jumped the gun in saying it was back in stock, then they said it won't be returning at all, and finally that it will take two weeks to return. All these explanations were a lie and when I called her out on it I got transferred to a manager who apologized profusely, said she would be retraining the agent, offered a discount code and assured me when it does return that I'd be the first to know. Great!
So finally, it actually returned in June. I was fed up with Man Crates, but I knew how bad my husband wanted this grill so I sent him the link with the discount code they provided. He order the grill and was so excited to receive it. Because it was around the time for Father's Day it was supposed to arrive with a Jerky box. Well, the grill arrived on time but no jerky box. Then, another great disappointment, the grill arrived with both missing parts and was not designed as what is pictured on the Man Crates website or in the manual it came with. I wish I could attach photos so you all can see what I am talking about as the grill was obviously different.
At this point, it had been 7 months of back and forth with Man Crates. The grill was not what we ordered; it felt and continues to feel like a sick joke. Who were they trying to fool with the false advertising? The grill vaguely resembled what they had represented on their website. I reached out to customer service and again, they tried to make it right, but the execution is always lacking. Tiffany promised another jerky box since we never received the first one. They said they were sending me the parts that were missing. I received random pieces of metal, no jerky and no matching manual for the grill. The manual I received was for the grill I actually purchased and pictured on their website. They informed me that my grill will not look like the grill advertised on their website because they are using a different vendor now. So they admitted to their false advertising. They said they were going to update their website with new photos, but that doesn't change the fact that I was already sold a false image as were many others. They sent a replacement grill that arrived last week with parts still missing! This grill looks like a welding class project where someone macgyvered some junk together and is trying to pass it off. It is a straight knock-off of what was originally advertised and should not cost the same as it is way lower quality in design and functionality.
I know the customer service people are trying, but their warehouse or whoever is in charge of production is fumbling it for them. All they have done is waste our time, offer jerky that doesn't arrive, and a 30% discount code. They refunded me because what they did was illegal and I hope more people come forward about this grill. They continue trying to make it right even after the refund because they know what a major mistake they have made. We will never get the grill we actually ordered. I wish Man Crates would have been transparent from the get-go. Just tell us you have a new vendor and it won't be the same, then replace the photos on the website to reflect that change. Don't have people purchase an item and then send a knockoff. They have updated the item's photos on their website just recently, I want to say a week ago because I kept checking to see how many other people might fall into the same trap my husband and I did. I'm not sure if they would have updated their website if not for me bringing it to their attention.
So much for 100% satisfaction guaranteed. I'm not sure what will make this right anymore. 8 months and nothing but random metal and a FedEx tracking number for jerky to show for it.

I have ordered a few times with Man Crates. Each time has been perfect. My boyfriend has gotten the bacon crate, siracha crate, Grand jerky heart and The Brewski Crate. Each time he was blown away! He loves the variety of treats and goodies he receives in each crate.
Super fun gift box BUT.....
Foremost, this was super fun gift, and the product & customization is awesome! Quick delivery too. My only constructive criticism is (and i say this realizing half the fun is the challenge opening the crate ;-) ). Man, the crate was quite hard to open, even with the small pry bar included. My main suggestion would be to maybe NOT glue the top lid, OR add a small sticker on the bottom panel thats say "open here". (the bottom is not glued, and easier to pry open!). Without this, I would recommend offering the crate receiver a small hammer & gloves haha :-). But truly, a great gift box & product. I will order again. CHEERS
Poor return process
I have ordered from Man Crates many times and have always been pleased with the product. I paid extra to have the item delivered the day after my husband's birthday. The product came on time, the issue has been with the return. Many emails stating Fed Ex will be scheduled. This has yet to happen. Its been over a week. I have never had such a frustrating experience on a return.

1797 as well as how he was the leading whiskey producer in America at the time..

Amazing customer service!
I ordered an awesome whiskey kit and unfortunately it came missing a ring around it. I emailed and immediately I got a response they sent a new kit immediately. Fantastic customer service. Great product! I will be ordering again.
If you have a hard to shop for man this is the site for you.

I received the knife making kit for Christmas. Piece of s**t! None of the holes line up and NONE of the edges are flush at all. This is obviously made in a few different 3rd world countries. My wife is now inside crying because of how much money she spent on this disaster. You guys should try something that you are capable of doing like get a real job and not some .com scam.

This personalized coffee mug crate is so cool! I ordered a coffee crate for a coworker as a goodbye gift. I also messed up on the order and mistyped his last name on the order. I messaged customer service and they are replacing my order completely free of charge. This was MY mistake, not theirs. I am so grateful for the customer service and such a cool product. Thank you! You have a customer for life!
Great experience
I ordered a personalized man crate for my husband for Christmas from my son. It was the ammo can with the beer glasses, bottle opener, and jerky. The minute it was delivered I knew something was broken inside. Sure enough one of the glasses broke. I emailed a picture to their customer service and they apologized and sent out a whole new order within a day and I got it by the end of that week. Great follow up and my husband liked the gift.

Rude Reps Are the Reason I won't Return Again
I have ordered from Man Crates a total of 3 times. Their shipping is extremely high but I have never had too much of a problem. I placed an order for Christmas and a birthday due to being laid up for a surgery that has made it so I cannot drive or walk for the time being. The third time I ordered, I paid $53 for shipping. I was given a date the order would be here. The day before I was told it was delayed by two days. When that day came and went, I got another text saying it was delayed by two more days. I contacted FedEx and they said it was shipped ground so there was no rush and it was still in CA. When I paid $53, that option was for overnight delivery, not ground (accidents happen, we are humans after all). I got a hold of Man Crates and they refunded the shipping.
When the new date came and went, my order still had not shown up. I got a new message saying I couldn't get a delivery date but the package was at least in my state. I contacted Man Crates to see if they could check into this. I got a response saying it was considered lost. They said usually they send a replacement but they are out of stock so they could issue a refund if it wasn't found in a few more days (they were specific with the dates but I won't post them here). I finally had heard back from FedEx after 12 days that my package was found. I hadn't received a refund so I was so excited to finally get these! FedEx said they found the package, but Man Crates canceled delivery!!! After trying to get the gifts and them already being late (and we know their prices are not cheap) they took it back without issuing a refund!
I contacted Man Crates and that is when they issued the refund. I told them if the package is still in my state then I don't want the money, I want the package. I paid for the package, I waited, I was patient until I wanted what I paid for. I was told that since I was issued the refund, they won't reroute the package back to me. I became highly upset and told them I didn't want the refund, I wanted the items. They said they sent FedEx a ticket two days prior requesting the package to be rerouted back to them and didn't send the refund until today.
I asked to speak to someone that I had been communicating with via email and the lady I was on the phone with became rude and said she is the only one I can speak to and she is the one I need to consider in charge when I asked to speak to a supervisor. When I finally pointed out the gifts were personalized and useless to anyone but me, she finally placed me on a 15 minute hold and said they could call FedEx and request to reroute the order back to me or ship a new order in a week. She obviously wasn't the supervisor so she should have let me speak to someone else that cares about customers - especially when they are as upset as I was (crying not crazy belittling) - when there were several things that went wrong that wasn't my fault.
When she was talking to me, while I was in tears trying to get these gifts while they were in my state, she was chuckling at me like I was on speaker and it was a joke to her and her co-workers (I am not sure if I was on speaker, but with her giggling and whispering like they heard, it felt like it).
I thought this company was pretty good, overpriced but fun, until the rude treatment I received. I have NEVER been treated like this from any company by any employee, not even from huge corporations like McDonald's or Wal-Mart. The lady I spoke to today has no business working where she does. She might as well be a bill collector as rude as she is. I hope the company looks at errors like these and realizes how important RETURNING customers are. Those are the ones that help build the company. I most certainly will not be returning, not because of the delayed shipping (mistakes honestly do happen) but the way I was treated when I called. One customer service representative caused Man Crates to lose a returning customer.
**This is to the response that was give to my review. I would have a lot more respect if these people contacted me personally but I will elaborate. I am more than happy to pay for everything. I stated that but like the service rep said, your company requested the shipment back TWO days before you tried refund me. I was very clear that if the package was found, that was a lot more important than a refund. I wanted what I paid for, not a refund or I wouldn't have spent what I did anyway. A lot of this is forgivable, but what isn't is that the service rep found it funny and was chuckling. She also said that she is the only one that I should worry about because I can't speak to anybody else. The service rep is the reason for the review. The service rep I spoke is the biggest reason I will not return and I will make sure that everybody knows that you have people like her at your company. She was awful, dishonest, laughed at me, and then hung up on me.

I ordered from this company and was not satisfied at all. I spent over 100 dollars after shipping on the beer shower crate and the items I got were very cheap quality and the speaker I got came broken upon arrival I will not be purchasing from man crate again

Received Shawnee skinner as Christmas…
Received Shawnee skinner as Christmas gift. The handle is too short. Even my girlfriend says she's not comfortable with it in her hands. Very unhappy. You advertise satisfaction guaranteed. I'd like to know how you're going to get me satisfied! What is deceiving is when you open the box and see the kit and look at the knife blank and then see the blank handle scales which are well over inch longer then the blade.

So disappointed
So disappointed. I purchased the chocoholic way overly expensive crate for my husband for Xmas. The individual boxes that the goodies come in are huge to make it look like you are getting a lot. The choc covered cookies were supposed to have 4 in them and there were only 2, one of which looked old. The box looks like it was tampered with and the other two cookies were missing. Buyer beware, you are paying for the crate and the flimsy crowbar! Shame on me for ordering and wasting my money.
