The customer service lady I spoke to was very helpful and talked me through the process of making the withdrawal of money.

Online portal convenience
Using the online portal to have my request processed was very simple and a very efficient way to do it avoiding post etc. The agents I dealt with were very helpful and clear in their messaging. Overall a very positive experience.

Not Straight forward
When phoning for advice from Prudential, it is not straight forward, and very exhausting to press 1,2,3,4,5 at each stage to actually get to speak to someone for help and advice.

20 years excellent but then.
For 20 years I had impeccable service from Pru and highly recommended them. Unfortunately they were unwilling to put the pension into drawdown unless I took third party advice which I felt would be too costly. There was no option to sign a disclaimer and to transfer out of Pru was the only option. I have previously put 3 other pensions into drawdown with other providers successfully but Pru was the most demanding.
