I stumbled across Mannadew online looking for Donuts (not been a big pastry lover apart from croissants) - what can I say? There's a few treats I wouldn't eat because of the ingredients (just not to my taste) - but the range, Almond croissants, Strawberry cheesecake cronuts, Toffee custard Cronuts, Croissants, Biscuits, Cheese-sticks, Cinammon Swirls, Pan Au Chocolate - I could go on, but would suggest just checking them out for yourself.

If you're in their area of London, they do collection, alternatively, they use DPD -you specify the delivery date - Ambient temperature 3 days - fridge 5 days - freezer - up to 60 days - highly recommended

It's been ten years since I've tasted a croissant as delightful as this. I followed the heating instructions and it was light, flaky, crispy and decadently buttery.
They are very expensive but, as an occasional special treat, a real pleasure.
The box arrived with an expired 'Best Before' date on it but I was reassured that it was the labelling that was inaccurate and the contents were freshly baked. They tasted fresh.

Freshly baked goods delivered within 36 hours outside London. Really carefully packed and popped in the oven for the recommended time to warm. They are truly excellent. I have 2 coeliac children for the acid test and I can't keep them off the chocolate twists, pain au chocolats, cinnamon swirls, cheese stips and vol au vent. Large order worth doing as they freeze well too.

I ordered some wonderful gluten free croissants, pistachio and chocolate as well as plain. Also some wonderful cheese breadsticks.
As always they were gorgeous, so full of flavour and flaky, I will be ordering again.

I recently ordered a box of pastries for a friend's birthday and contacted Manna Dew through email to ask about their shelf life and for any storage suggestions to keep them fresh. I got an extremely prompt response back (15 mins later), thoroughly answering all my questions, which I was very impressed with.
I've also been to a bake sale at the bakery with the same friend in the past and tried the pastries out myself and they were delicious. I don't follow a GF diet but went out of solidarity with my friend and was blown away! She's been a convert for a while now and it's not hard to see why. Absolutely delicious! 10/10 pastries and 10/10 customer service.

I found this place through Instagram and was visiting London, so being a coeliac and seeing actual gluten free croissants that looked like croissants I had to visit.
Oh my gosh it did not disappoint! Cheese twists, pain au chocolate, pistachio croissants and so much more each better than the previous. I even bought some to take home for my sister who is also a coeliac. I will be back for more 100% 🤩

Wow. Just wow. Manna Dew’s pistachio croissant is next-level. The layers are so light and buttery, you’d never believe it’s gluten-free. The pistachio filling is generous, creamy, and absolutely addictive. I’ve tried gluten-free pastries all over London, and this one is in a league of its own. Totally worth the trip

The pain aux raisins from Manna dews was exceptional really raised my expectations for gluten free bakery. Tried it on friday will surely recommend it to all coeliacs.

I received a Basque cheesecake from Manna Dew for my birthday (I’m celiac) and what arrived was a puddle in a crust — thin, unset liquid center, impossible to slice or plate because it completely collapsed, with half the top pale and unevenly baked. It looked nothing like their own website or Instagram photos, and nothing like their written description of a “custard-like center” and a “deeply caramelised top”.

I sent over a message reasonably explaining our concerns along with photos. In response, I was told repeatedly to “please research” Basque cheesecake. Okay. Every example, including their own marketing, shows a set, sliceable cake. Custardy center, yes; liquid, no. Regardless, I’ve made them myself. I’ve eaten many. I ordered it because I LOVE Basque cheesecake…a properly baked one, not underbaked slop.

What followed were clearly AI-generated replies that repeated the same vague statements without addressing my specific evidence. The director then personally messaged to say this was “perfectly baked", that maybe I was “after something else", and, once again, to "please research" Basque cheesecake. Patronising, defensive, and quite frankly embarrassing customer service. No refund, replacement, or any other reasonable resolution offered, just smug dismissal.

Without any prior discussion over email, Manna Dew located the original order (a gift from a family member) and sent her an unsolicited email reiterating their position. In that email, they cited being “multi-award-winning” as evidence the cake could not have been faulty, and informed us they would not accept any future orders from us.

I have no issue with a business taking pride in its reputation — but even the best bakeries can have an off day, especially with a bake as temperamental as cheesecake. What matters is how you look after the customer when that happens. In this case, Manna Dew chose to double down on a passive aggressive stance rather than acknowledge the problem or offer a reasonable resolution. All of the other reviews on here citing rude responses from the owner are unfortunately true, and this attitude seems to permeate from the top down through the staff.

I used to recommend Manna Dew in gluten free circles in London. I’ll be telling everyone to avoid them, both for their poor quality and unprofessional, condescending attitude when approached for a resolution.

Amazingly delicious gluten free pastries. The best I have found. The delivery was smooth and I would highly recommend Manna Dew.

Amazing gluten free vegan pain au chocolat, the thickness of the chocolate in these is just so good! I’ve been buying from Manna Dew for a long time and always will do, one of a few that I trust, I know taste good and customer care and service are fantastic.

Absolutely delicious croissants but expensive at £5 each including delivery and they seem to be getting smaller!!
